i awarded one of my players "Agony" from Matt Mercers Tal'Dorei Guide. Now i'm trying to add the item as a home-brew creation. Just one Problem. The Weapon has a Bonus to Damage but not to Attack. I wanted to work of an existing item to make it easier for me but i couldn't find anything that had not the Bonus to both. So could someone please tell me what i have to do.
there isn't a great way of doing this currently, that I know of.
You could check out the Flame Tongue weapons, to see one way that this is done on a standard magic item - there's a modifier with DAMAGE - DAMAGE TYPE and then the amount.
Add Modifier, choose damage, type of damage, fill in the dice/fixed values and it will change it on the character sheet, if you add extra dice, it kinda gets cut off, but will show in the sidebar

"We got this, no problem! I'll take the twenty on the left - you guys handle the one on the right!"🔊
But than it's only shown in the Notes, I was hopping to get it to calculate the damage in the damage section differently.
