I'm working on a bard subclass that is heavily based on RhogarNorixius' College of Dance. I can't find a way to change the unarmed strike stat to DEX. I use "set - unarmed damage die | 1d4 | DEX |" and "damage - unarmed attacks | DEX |", but my unarmed strike stat is still STR and in the actions tab it seems like I get both DEX and STR bonuses.
In addition, on a later feature I want to add the CHA bonus to attack and damage rolls but not sure how.
Since the monk base class is the only time it is used, it is probably either hard coded in or the modifier is stored in a section of the tools not available for homebrew.
Okay, one more question, how do I do a conditional modifier? One of the features is that the character gets proficiency in Acrobatics and Performance, but if it already has it, it gets double proficiency. I thought that what double proficiency does, but it seems to just be expertise...
Unfortunately, there are no conditional modifiers either. If it is for a subclass you can make options with proficiency and double proficiency. Feats will just have to be mutiple feats.
Hi,

I think the modifier you are looking for is natural weapon.
I tried it, it doesn't seem to change anything
Hello! You can make this work by creating a custom action for a subclass feature like the following:
Then make sure to toggle off the existing unarmed strike action's "Display as Attack" checkbox.

Thank you very much!
It's a bit weird that it is not possible to do it like it is done in the Monk class though.
Since the monk base class is the only time it is used, it is probably either hard coded in or the modifier is stored in a section of the tools not available for homebrew.
It's a shame there are tools not available for homebrew.
I'm still waiting to be able to homebrew non-magical items, but that's for another thread.
A big homebrew overhaul is planned. No idea how long we'll have to wait though.
