I like the idea of a bag of listening as a concept and I liked drawing it but now I've no idea what it does.
Possible version 1
This grotesque leather bag is warm to the touch. It seems to be crudely made from a bizarre assortment of raw leather; with a successful 15 medical check the leather can be identified as dwarven and human. On the right side of the bag is a humanoid ear.
Well attuned with the bag of listening it will produce a semitransparent sinew made of red glowing energy, which the attuned creatures memories are recorded upon. strands of memory will exist for eight hours before decaying. The memory sinew may be removed from the bag but they would decay at a rapid rate.
A creature grasping the memory sinew may gain the memories, by doing so the sinew is absorbed into the creatures flesh.
It gives you something to talk to when you're feeling lonely.

I love this idea, it's like an advanced version of something I've done before (Ring of Records). Some things to think about
From whose perspective are these memories experienced? Are you a ghost in someone's mind, or are you that person? Is it real-time experience, or sudden understanding? Is this the bag's memory instead and you dangle at the side of the wearer?
How much sinew can be removed at a time? Can this damage the bag? Can you run out of them? What happens if you pull more than one?
Does removing a sinew remove the memory from the bag? If not, is there a copy limit?
Can you force an unwilling target to absorb memories? Or an unsuspecting target? Can you plant a false memory or a trick on your enemy?
Can the bag be deafened?
What happens to things put in the bag?
If you tell the bag a joke, will it laugh?
Can you share experiences that are more than just audio? If so, what does a bag see?
Is it's memory infinite? Does it remember everything from every owner? What does it remember of its own creation?
Can you magically trick the bag, read its mind, mind blank it, feeblemind it, or affect it in the same way? Is it sentient in any way?
Most of these can be left up to DM choice, just trying to poke at it from a player perspective.
