Patter drowns out the chaos around him, and takes a deep breath. Focus on the job. This wasn't a job, this was a favor, and he turned off the part of his brain that wondered why, and made judgement calls.
He silently radioed "GO" to Ethan and the others, and pulled the trigger on his hand crossbow, aiming at the torso of Vrin.
Attack: 16 Damage: 9 plus 7 sneak attack damage
For his bonus action, he reloads and fires at Vrin's nearest goon.
Patter looses a bolt a Vrin, the feathered shaft catching him just below the breastplate, as he howls in pain. From within his concealment, Patter slaps another bolt in, draws back the string and looses it into the goon to the north of Vrin, who manages to only be grazed, but looks confusedly in the general direction of the roof.
Grandpa, hearing the chaos starting, bursts out the door, erupting with fire that lays about the courtyard, though missing half of his targets, it nearly blows the driver off the carriage. Black bounds out beside him and tears into one of the guys as Red swoops out from the false dormer towards him.

The others are much more offensive than the halfling. Not in the gross way, in the brutal way. He reverts to his short self and calls on his natural powers. Throwing his palms toward the ground and raising his arms in a slow deliberate motion he calls forth grasping vines to hold some of the goons in place.

Stables makes it to the peak of the roof before entangling the choke point on the far side of the wagon, where he can put his vines to the most use.
