He wastes no time and moves in a smooth arc left around the sphere, leaping the furniture blocking his way and skirting dangerously close to the sphere itself. As he passes the sphere, within inches, there’s a freak second when, in whatever passes for Larry’s mind he sees himself being pulled and pushed in every direction by the magic and ‘spaghetti-ed’ out infinitely long and thin… before the moment passes… his body just the same as always…
Disoriented nonetheless he makes it to the mage while already winding up for a flying-double-scissor-kick followed by a frost-encrusted ice punch to the chest, before landing!…

Desperate, they scream at Larry, darts of energy raining down on the metal man as the mage throws a lever, showering that half of the room in sparks and flickering energy as the sphere pulses and begins thrumming louder and louder, the tower rumbling and shaking beneath your feet.

Keller casts invisibility on himself and then moves quickly into the room, over the body of the abomination. He runs over the table, aiming for the mage, and seeing that the mage just flipped a lever, and the sphere is getting worse, he, with cunning action, will take a bonus action to dash to right next to the mage. Hoping for a free object interaction here to be able to flip the lever back to what Keller hopes is "normal."
Assuming this works, he mentally messages the others "I'm invisible, just tried to undo whatever they unleashed with that lever, hoping the tower doesn't come down on all of us!"

Bryn looks as everyone vanishes and quickly saves the location of the mage in his brain he than points his rod to the location and a chaos bolt shoots out (creature in range, not creature that he can see; and straight roll because advantage unseen attacker, disadvantage unseen defender?)
