Essie is startled when Daerthe slips out. She rises quickly and moves toward the door, crossbow ready. Stigandr calls for light, but holds his place. Daerthe sees two more goblins coming from the south, heading toward their friends. Ryndar can make out one of them, but just barely. It helps that they are yelling as well, "Dar't huuc oc? Daagaan agaan daan akhalaar?"
(Ryndar and Bramble are up. What would you like to do?)

Ryndar lines up a shot on the closes goblin, releasing another arrow at his foe. After firing, he drops prone on the far side of the roof from the goblins, hoping to mask his position.
Bramble translates the latest shouting as, “They’re still not sure where we are.”
He will quietly exit the building and take up a new position 10’ North and 5’ East of Daerthe’s current position. He will be focusing visually to the South with his non-darkvision eyes but will be especially listening for any new noises North or East, hoping not to get blindsided. He will fish into his pouch and retrieve three small stones and,

Round 5 continued
Ryndar's arrow pierces the side of the nearest goblin. He screeches in pain and nearly falls to its knees, but manages to stay upright. Ryndar drops to the far side of the roof for cover. Bramble slips out of the temple and takes a position northeast of Daerthe. He mutters an incantation to enchant three pebbles and prepares to throw one should a goblin come into view. At the moment, the only noises he hears are from the goblins to the south.
Unable to see his rooftop attacker, the injured goblin turns toward Daerthe and yells out in Common, "You kill Pojo. Tot will kill you!" And he fires an arrow at her. Attack: 9 Damage: 4. Then despite his brave words, he limps toward the village gate.
The other two yell, "Yah! Yah! We kill you!" They fire arrows from their shortbows before hesitantly following Tot.
At Daerthe - Attack: 6 Damage: 3
At Bramble - Attack: 8 Damage: 4
(Daerthe and Helena are up.)

Daerthe curses in the crow dialect of elven, pulling the arrow out of her and moving to take aim at the closest goblin she can, letting another arrow as soon as the string of her bow is pulled back all the way.
Shortbow: Attack: 21 Damage: 9
Bless: 3
After the arrow is fired, she will move behind the wall of the building to be in cover.
After the arrow fire she will move behind the wall of the building to be in cover.
(I'm not clear exactly where you mean. Through the fence to the north side of the temple? Or just hugging the east wall of the temple? Or on the south side where the building juts out to form a little corner?)

(Into the church. I never meant for her to leave it in the first place. I justed wanted to there to be enough space for her to fire clearly and then duck into cover so she wasn't in sight. Kind of had something from like Mass Effect or Gears in mind.... Been attempting to replay some of my older games and atm am playing Mass Effect so I have cover shooters on the brain...)
Helena pulls her glowing stone from her pocket, then strides out of the church in the direction she would hear the goblins from. She would walk her full movement towards them, then cast sleep on the largest group of them she can see. As a note she doesn't actually have to see them, or the spot she casts the spell at, it just needs to be within 20 feet of that group of goblins.
HD put to sleep: 18
I also have a question. Is this absolute darkness out, so no stars or moon out at all?

(Oh, my bad. There wasn't any way you could be near the door with everyone else there. And you wouldn't have been able to see much of anything. So I guess it's a trade off that you were able to finish off a goblin vs. being hit with an arrow. I'll move you back inside.)

(All good. I am to used to playing a halfling since that is what I play in my irl game since the other people in the group ar good for bottlenecking us. I am spoiled with being able to move through their spaces... Lol)
Daerthe curses under her breath, fires an arrow that glances off the nearest goblin's shoulder harmlessly, curses again, and retreats into the temple. Essie can see that the drow has an arrow piercing her shoulder. Helena pushes past the crowd at the door and moves south toward the goblins, her stone lighting up the area around her with 20 feet of bright light and an additional 20 feet of dim light. She traces some shapes in the air, mutters a few words, and the faintest arcane blanket falls over three of the goblins. In a moment, all three collapse to the ground, asleep. At the same time, Bramble reacts to the increased light and throws an enchanted pebble at one of the unaffected goblins who is just barely in range. (Go ahead and roll for your attack.)
Regarding the darkness of the night, I've been thinking about this a lot. In my personal experience, only a rainy or cloudy night actually makes for full darkness, even out in the country without city lights. But it seems like D&D rules suggest that even a brilliant full moon provides only dim light. And I hadn't specified that we had moonlight. I was kind of waiting to see how you all would deal with the issue of operating in darkness.
(We are ready for Round 6. Essie and Stigandr are up first.)

Fed up with waiting, Stigandr rushes out of the doorway and into the night. Looking around for an enemy, any enemy, he spots what he thinks are goblins and runs toward them, maul held high.

Trying to avoid Daerthe’s injury, Essie skirts around and follows Stigandr out the door. She moves around by Bramble, staying a few steps ahead of him, and fires her crossbow at one of the goblins still awake ahead of her.
Stigandr decides he has had enough of waiting and dashes out to one of the goblins. He doesn't quite have time to take a swing yet. Essie takes a deep breath and dives out the door as well. She fires her crossbow, but maybe concern for hitting Stigandr throws off her aim and the bolt goes wide.
Faced with the much larger form of the barbarian, one goblin hisses in defiance and swings her scimitar at his legs. Attack: 20 Damage: 4
The second goblin is a little more intimidated and swings wide to get some distance. Then he fires his shortbow, yelling in Common, "Leave Snokki alone!" Attack: 24 Damage: 10
The first goblin gets a good cut on Stigandr's legs, but it is the second one's arrow that pierces deeply into his side and causes the barbarian to fall unconscious.
