(OOC: Happy to share the kill will Kendes, haha. No big deal. Good eye on the green vs blue, that was my mistake. (I use blue for several other characters.). Oh and I love Evendur not understanding what the robes are for, haha.)
Valas raises an eyebrow when Sir Evendur doesn't seem to understand the initial robe suggestion. When Kendes suggests selecting robes that fit and it finally clicks for the paladin the elf replies with a grin and wink towards Kendes "what an excellent idea, brave Kendes."
"I could use a few moments to patch up these small wounds myself"comments the elf as he gingerly tries to pull his clothing away from where two spears had grazed his arm and shoulder.
Kosef will try on the splint mail. If it fits, he will happily wear it. The same is true of the robes.
"Sneaking into the camp with a robe on sounds like an excellent plan.I also think," he says, "at least a brief rest would help me fight more effectively." He ponders his light crossbow and how lucky he was with it a few moments ago, but he looks skeptical. "Can I try a spear or two?" he says. "I might be more effective with one. And I can share the crossbow bolts I have?"
"They're well-weighted for throwing,"Kendes says, handing Kosef two of the spears. "You'll need to get in close though, as they don't have the range of a proper javelin." He looks at the heavy crossbow, and then hands that over to Kosef as well. "If I could trade you your crossbow for this one... I don't know how to use this heavy thing, but it looks as though it does quite a bit more damage than the light one you carry. And well... that light crossbow does a bit more damage than throwing a javelin, too."
Kosef is able to take the blond man's tunic and armour. They seem to fit well. Everyone else also finds tunics of appropriate size. After resting for an hour, people are feeling much better, and are ready to continue on.
OOC: If you want to do more stuff before resting, just add it in. And you can click on the map spoiler when you are ready for the camp.
The Camp, feel free to take a look when you are ready to arrive
The camp eventually becomes visible. It is located in the hollow of a plateau, with cliffs that rise 150 ft high. Two guard towers have been constructed. One is in the hollow, and the other is on top of the plateau, visible from far away. The hollow is filled with tents, and kobolds and cultists can be seen wandering around. There are many boulders, and a lot of tall brush, and several caves dot the cliff walls.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Yes, speaking of things to throw, I have these..." Evendur points to five javelins strapped to his mount. "...but I don´t think I will ever use them."
Evendur then turns to the kobold prisoners. "Tell me of that dragon Lennithon, where is it´s lair?" Intimidation if needed:19 (rolled with advantage which would be easy to get)
(OOC: Iirc our mission is to find the camp (check), determine who´s in charge and number of cultists and to free any prisoners. Perhaps Xymor can locate the prisoners from above and then we enter in disguise, free the prisoners and take one of our own to find out the rest. Btw, should we release the kobolds now or should we do some more interrogation first?)
Kosef is very happy to trade the crossbows, collect two spears, and five javelins. He will take a short rest and join the others in talking to the kobolds.

(Short rest hit die: 6 )
"What do you mean by very close?"asks Valas regarding dragon's lair.
(OOC: Perhaps we either A) let the kobolds go in a direction we can watch from the rocks near the start of the short rest so we can watch for a bit and ensure they get far away and don't turn back to the camp and warn our enemies or B) hide them and the horse and wait until after we infiltrate this camp to release them.)
Pulling his robe over his slightly used armor, Kosef says, "I suggest we hide them and the horses, but my preference is not strong." He slings the javelins and spears onto his back. "I am eager to see Leosin rescued, most of all."
"Yes, I agree with Kosef. Lennithon is in luck, he will survive a little while longer as we cleverly infiltrate the cultist camp and free master Leosin." Evendur says, doing his best to look like a cultist in his new robes. He will leave his lance, shield and helmet by his steed as they don´t really fit in with his new cultist appearance. "This will be interesting. I have some experience with acting in plays back home in Cormyr, but I usually played the part of the dragon slaying hero, would you imagine. A new challenge in my theatrical career this certainly is." He adds and is ready to infiltrate.

There are many boulders, and a lot of tall brush, and several caves dot the cliff walls. A few cultists and kobolds are still entering the camp as you arrive.
Kosef says, "Well, pretend we know what we are doing, I guess?" He prepares to walk forward into the camp but pauses. "Did we ask the kobolds where the hostages are being kept, by chance?"
Valas and Xymor study the camp closely, looking for any obvious prisoners. Valas also watches how others enter the camp, including whether or not guards verify their identity or if they just walk in with their cultist robes, etc.
"No, but perhaps Xymor has information about the camp to share." Evendur looks over to Valas. "We also need more information about numbers and leadership. I will take on the role of Sir Rudneve, a newly arrived fallen knight in service of Tiamat. You could be his companions Salav, Fesok and Sednek, should anyone ask questions. I will cleverly trick the cultists to divulge the information we seek." Evendur then leaves the tied up and gagged goblins with Bayard and confidently enters the camp.

Valas and Xymor examine the camp. The cultists seem to just walk in past the guard tower without giving any passwords or identifying themselves. A few stop and speak to one another, and exchange hand signs, but most of them just walk in and head towards tents. Something seems a little odd though. Roll perception. If Xymor scouts the camp for prisoners, roll stealth and another perception.
Everyone who enters the camp, make a charisma check with disadvantage.
Charisma check for Kendes: -1
OOC: What type of owl is Xymor? If you do not know enough about owls or do not care, no need to identify a species.

The kobolds look at each other nervously before replying to Evendur's question. One says, "South," and the other says, "Very close."

The kobolds glance at each other nervously again, and one says, "Six miles?"

Charisma check for Kendes: -1
OOC: What type of owl is Xymor? If you do not know enough about owls or do not care, no need to identify a species.
Evendur charisma check with disadvantage:8
(OOC: Oof, sorry about that, it seemed like a good idea at the time :-P )
(kendes has a +1 to charisma, not a -3)
OOC: Kendes does have a + 1, but he also has a -4 penalty on the check. I probably should have noted that in the post.
(So much for scouting the camp first, haha.)
Perception for just Valas: 21
(Keeping Xymor with Valas for now as circling overhead might be a giveaway. I picture him as relatively small or medium for an owl, and a brown owl.)
