"I can make a gust of wind which can extinguish that lamp and leave them in darkness,"Kendes whispers to the others. "That should sow some confusion, though I'm not sure it will draw them out. Though they 'd have a hard time moving up the passage towards us as well, so those of us who could see in the dark could snipe at them on the way towards us."
(How wide is the passage? Kendes' gust of wind is 60ft long and 10ft wide)
Valas shakes his head on the possible thunderwave as it is very loud, but likes the idea of fog and/or darkness. If the cultists are all human and not elves, etc. it would make Kendes and Valas killing machines in there, leaving the other two to containment efforts just outside the room.
(OOC: Did Valas notice if most/all are human or if any happened to be elves, half elves, etc. who can typically see just as well as Kendes and Valas?)
"That is a sound strategy brave Kendes. You and Valas will enter the mist while Kosef and myself will wait by the entrance outside the mist and take care of anyone trying to escape." Evendur says appreciatively and readies himself for battle, placing a torch where necessary to be able to fight any fleeing cultists.
The passage is 5 ft wide. From the fork in the passage, it is 10 ft to the cultists' room. It is 25 ft from the entrance cave to the same room. Valas observed only humans in the room.
Kosef listens, running his fingers through his beard and then flattening it again. He nods in agreement to the plan and twists his hands tight around the handle of his sword.
Kendes nods at everyone, and then stealthily makes his way back to the passage entrance. He stops a good distance away, judging the trajectory from the lone flame in the room to his hands, and then gives everyone a last glance.
With a readying swirl of his arms, he summons forth a powerful gust of wind, aiming directly at the lamp and hoping to knock it over. (DC 11 STR or be pushed 15 feet away from Kendes, also from Kendes to 60ft away from him and 10ft wide is now difficult terrain if attempting to move towards Kendes.)
Assuming squares are 5´ If possible Evendur would have placed the torch so that dim light reaches 10´into the room. When he is up he will try to move into A6, lowering his initiative if necessary. If the cultist in B7 is still standing he will attack him with his longsword, otherwise holding the attack for any cultist coming into his reach. Longsword:6 Damage:7 and shoving to prone if possible:13
He intends to hold the door hoping that Kosef moves into A5 or A7 and Stor in the corridor behind them firing at cultists coming into the light. Interception when if needed:8
(OOC: Perhaps Valas and/or Kendes should kill his way to the other door, making sure no one escapes that way?)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kosef and Evendur both try to attack the same cultist, but both their attacks are avoided. Evendur then tries to knock over the cultist, who attempts to dodge his shield. While that happens, Stor nocks an arrow and readies himself for when a cultist enters the light.

Evendur deflects two blows with his shield but a third strikes true to his exposed flank. He grits his teeth and raises his shield focusing on defending against the onslaught. (Dodge action) Interception if needed:10
(OOC: Somehow I didn´t realize how many cultists would find their way to Evendur the first round. I think his best tactics is to defend right now, letting the others do the killing. If there will be further botting of Kendes and/or Valas I think they should try to stop the cultists from fleeing down the other corridor if possible.)
