Kipio notices Kosef hurriedly scanning the area in a search for more raiders. "Steady Kosef...I'm still here still guarding your ankles," he says with a chuckle. Kipio will also scan the area to make sure no ambushers are making their way to the fleeing townsfolk, he know how unreliable human eyes can be at night.
As the townsfolk starts to move Evendur turns to the others while keeping an eye on the front door prepared to hold the ground should the raiders break through.
"Well done my brave companions. Kosef, Kipio, tell us when the townsfolk has crossed the wall and we will fall back to a secondary defense line on the other side of that wall. Kipio can you be prepared to set fire to the vegetation on the other side of the wall creating smoke to help cover our retreat if need be? Valas can you be prepared to channel the fury of Torm again should the raiders break through the front door before we can retreat?"
When Evendur notices Kendes producing a crowbar to help hold the door together the cogs turn for a moment and then his eyes narrows.
"So that is your trade Kendes, I should have known" A brief pause as the tension builds and then "No wonder you have fallen on hard times trading in crowbars. Might I suggest diversifying your selection, but that discussion will have to wait for another time I am afraid"
Kendes ignores Evendur's provocation -- who trades in crowbars? he does manage to think to himself in confusion -- and instead retreats towards the exit, keeping himself between the townspeople and the door, but hiding all the same behind what cover he can find.
Valas raises an eyebrow at Sir Evendur's request regarding channeling Torm. "Ah, no, and that is not at all how it works, for a myriad of reasons, but we shall hold them back all the same."
"Perhaps we should close these doors, such that it takes them an extra few seconds to figure out where those inside have gone?" Valas references the doors the citizens of Greenest first opened for us and are now fleeing through.
Kipio hearing Evendur's suggestion from inside, readies a produce flame. "I'd rather not contribute to burning down the town, people may get the wrong idea seeing a kobold lighting fires. Let's use that as a last resort." He says back into the building. He makes sure the flame is hid beneath his cloak not letting the light draw attention. He begins looking for something flammable that would make an ideal smoke screen.

Kosef is outside the building, watching for the patrol. "Keep moving, moving, moving," he is hissing as the people go by behind him, headed toward the short wall.
Can he hear the front gate breaking? Perception: 9
If he can hear the cracking wood, he'll say, "Maybe they stopped to help bust open the front. Maybe the patrol is there with them." (But he probably can't hear them.)
Kendes grits his teeth; the people are taking too long to file out of the temple. "I will try to blind them when they break through... help the others get out," he says quietly to the others, readying himself to summon a fog cloud around the door as soon as it breaks open.
Valas decides to spend his precious few free seconds to help along some of the slower moving citizens, whether it be helping older folk, assisting wounded, carrying children, etc. All the while he keeps an eye out for the patrol whenever he steps outside.
Evendur joins Valas with helping the townsfolk, laying on hands on the wounded if necessary to make them keep going as fast as possible towards the wall.
He then turns to face the front door, ready with shield and sword for the onslaught of the raiders.
"Companions, it has been an honour. Be sure to help the townsfolk safely back to the keep, I will hold them here if necessary, but I won´t be alone. The loyal fury will be by my side til the end"
A moment later he adds "Oh, and tell Randal to take good care of Bayard would you" Then silence and grim determination.

Valas gives Kendes a nod of approval and with a wave of his arm silently urges him to hurry in joining the group in making their exit. He then picks the nearest townsperson and aggressively ushers them out the back door.
Kipio hearing the kobolds break through the door and begin to shriek in confusion, runs around the outside of the temple to near the front entrance. He yells in high pitched draconic doing his best to sound angry, "They escaped out the windows and ran to the north side!!", pointing in the opposite direction of the townsfolk.
At first confused by the words from Kipio and Kendes, Evendur then proudly proclaims "I will fight my way through and save the townfolk that went north, so help me Torm"
But then he remembers none of the townsfolk actually escaped through the windows of the temple and finally realizes it is all a stratagem to turn the raiders north.
"Oh, very clever Kipio and Kendes, that will have them running north"Evendur chuckles "Imagine their surprise when they realize it was all a ruse"
Making sure he is the last of the companions to leave the temple, taking dodge actions parrying attacks with his shield while retreating, he then takes position just outside of the back door.
"Close the doors and try to find a way to make them stay closed. I presume you are out of crowbars Kendes?"
Kosef hopes Kipio and Kendes plan works. He continues to watch for the patrol and urge the townspeople out of the temple and toward the wall. He tries to stay between them and the direction he think kobolds or other might attack from.
One of the kobolds says, "Did you hear that? They've escaped the other way! We've been tricked!". There is the sound of kobolds bumping into each other in the fog as they try to exit the temple. The last of the townsfolk slip out the back. A human can be heard shouting in the distance, "They've been spotted going the other way. Let's go!" The ruse appears to have worked. The townsfolk head over to the wall under Kosef's direction, and start climbing over it. Soon they are on the other side, awaiting further instructions.

When there seems to be no immediate threat of pusuit Evendur quickly moves over the wall and to the front of the townsfolk.
"This way good people of Greenest, down to the river and we will shortly be at the entrance of a secret tunnel taking you inside the keep. Move as quick as you can as the raiders eventually will see through the clever feint of my companions." Evendur then takes the lead and hopefully finds his way back to the tunnel entrance, wary of raiders on their way there. Perception: 6 (rolled with disadvantage because of dim light)
Kendes will stop if the group happens to pass by the spot where he found Atala and Mhurn. He'll take a moment to relieve the woman's corpse of her amulet, as well as quickly frisk down the two for any valuables. (Just ignore all that if we don't pass the corpses by again, or if his investigation of 2 yields not being able to find his own butt with two hands, LOL).
No raiders are encountered on the way back to the tunnel. The townsfolk enter, and make their way into the keep. Once safely inside, they thank you. Escobert was waiting for your return. He smiles at all of you, and says, "Good work." He then looks at Kipio and says, "You wanted to help with the healing, right? We've got a few wounded that could use some attention." He starts to lead the way to one corner of the room, bringing Eadyan with him. As he goes he adds, "The rest of you can rest up a little. You've done a lot for this town. If you want to do some more, just find me or the governor."
