Having taken down the last bugbear, only ogre remains running towards the other group of monsters by the animal pens, lumbering with surprising speed as fast as its massive, tree trunk legs will carry it. Osmord sends a sickening blast of green energy at the beast. It hits the ogre directly in the back, but it stays on its feet and keeps charging forward as it joins the other group.
A quick scan of the battlefield reveals a similar array of invaders with regards to size and numbers: Two more ogres, four more bugbears and a whole mess of goblins, all scattered about the pens, wooden fences, feed troughs and hay bales. When they were alerted to your approach by the bugbear's guttural cries, most of them quickly turned their attention away from trying to gather up chickens, pigs and sheep, reached for their weapons and spread out in a much more sparse formation. A few of the goblins and two of the bugbears have moved to try and gain at least some cover behind the features of the pens. The closest ones are about 60 feet away.
Miros and Shalvus are still with you, as is Lifferlas, the awakened tree, although he is slower and is still a ways behind you. The shou woman and Oren apparently stayed behind the secure the two sleeping goblins.
Zyllith looked across the battlefield before her, getting a sense of her current situation, and unfortunately things did not look good. With so many enemies in front of them it would be near suicide to charge into them alone. She would need to hold off for now until things took a turn towards where she could be more useful. Still it was a bit frustrating, particularly as her golden eyes shifted across to the goblins already running for cover, she knew all too well from their previous encounters that they would try to hide and take shots at them while the others were preoccupied by the larger threats. Looking at the nearest goblin in particular she could not help but think to herself how badly she wished that she could keep track of the goblin so it could not take them unawares later on.
Seemingly in response to that very wish, a soft chime of fairy laughter reached her ears, and before she could discover what it was, a soft, multicolored flittering light emitted itself from her body, flying across the battlefield before finally reaching the goblin she had been looking at. And that was it, it seemed no other effect had taken place, and yet Zyllith was certain that goblin was glowing just a bit more then the others.
A mystery for another time, she ultimately decided, there were still too many enemies in front of her and she had to move quickly. As quickly as she could manage she rushed sideways as she sought some cover to hide behind. Not too quickly though, as she moved to remain hidden from both sight and sound, so their enemies could not track her until she was ready to surprise them moments later.

Bonus Action: Cast Hunter's Mark on the nearest goblin Movement: to move off to the side of the battle to find someplace she can hide in Action: will attempt to Hide - Stealth: 7+11 = 18
As Zyllith hones in on one of the goblins (Goblin J), and hunkers down into her own hiding place, she watches as the crafty little creature that's hiding in the tall grass behind one of the fence posts raises its bow and aims towards the main group. (It apparently lost sight of the tiefling.) She's unsure exactly who the goblin is aiming at, but a second later, an arrow flies right at Belkas. Attack: 24 Damage: 11. With almost no time to react, Belkas takes the arrow right in meat of his right thigh.
After firing, the goblin darts to the side and dives for cover a few feet away from its initial position, and Zyllith is instantly reminded at just how stealthy these little buggers are; they seem to be able to disappear at the drop of a coin. (Need Perception check of 24 to spot Goblin J).
A few feet away, one of the bugbears (Bugbear D) dashes forward about 20 feet or so and disappears into the tall grass as well, reminding everyone that these larger goblinoids are also quite stealthy. (Need Perception check of 24 to spot this bugbear.)
Belkas grunts in pain as the arrow slams into his thigh. He painfully hobbles to cover and then shoots out two Eldritch Blasts at the wounded ogre. (If he kills it with the first blast, he will target a goblin for the second. If there is no cover nearby, he will move away from the monsters, shoot out the Eldritch Blasts and then drop prone to reduce the chance of being hit by more arrows).
To Crowley, he mentally calls out, "Attack the archers first!"
---
Eldritch Blast:
1st: To hit 12, damage 13
2nd: To hit 15, damage 6
Imp:
To hit 22 (17+5), damage 4 (1+3), plus poison 10 damage, or 5 on a successful CON DC 11 saving throw.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Even in pain, Belkas is able to focus enough connotation into his magical attacks. His first blast finally fells the injured ogre, and then turning his attention to one of the goblins, he fires a second blast. However, the little bugger is crouched partway behind one of the fence posts, which deflects the spell attack with a ricochet of bright light.
Crowley, who has been flying at full speed and has reached the front line of this second group of monsters, targets one of the goblins. Undeterred by the creature's feeble attempt at cover, the imp lashes out with his barbed tail and lands a vicious sting that kills the goblin with a mixture of pain and poison. This action causes Crowley to now be visible to all.
Another one of the goblins, (Goblin I) trains his short bow on the imp and tries to shoot it out of the air with one of his arrows. Attack: 10 Damage: 5 He then rushes for new cover, his small, stealth body disappearing into the tall grass. (Need Perception check of 20 to spot Goblin I).
One of the bugbears, (Bugbear B) rushes up the left flank along the eastern fence, obviously trying to gain a tactical advance. Like the first one, he stays low and tries to remain out of sight, using the darkness and tall grass for cover. (Need Perception check of 23 to spot Bugbear B).
From her position near Arisa, Naxene looks out into the night, speaks a quick incantation and conjures a fire bolt from her hand that she sends towards one of the ogres. The flaming bolt hits the monstrous brute right in the chest, causing a bright red flash that singes the creature's skin and clothing.
The next two goblins slink out from behind fence posts and send their arrows at Vernon: Attack: 22 Damage: 4 and Naxene: Attack: 11 Damage: 7, then they quickly scurry to try and find new hiding places. (Perception checks of 13 to spot Goblins A and B)
Two more shoot arrows at Arisa: Attack: 7 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll., and Miros: Attack: 16 Damage: 5, then they too try to fade into the cover of the tall grass. (Perception check of 21 to spot Goblin A, and 19 to spot Goblin B).
Elion raises his own short bow and tries to find a goblin to shoot, but he has trouble spotting a good target. Instead, he aims his bow and takes a shot at one of the ogres. Attack: 25 Damage: 14 Unfortunately, his aim is off and the arrow flies by the creature, disappearing into the dark.
Meanwhile, Shalvus hops the fence and darts off into the darkness, trying to make his own unseen advance towards the group, in an approach that's similar to Zyllith's.
Arisa is up.
**A note on hiding and combat: Hidden attackers get advantage on attack rolls, but become visible when they attack. Stealth checks to hide while In combat are contested against the target’s Passive Perception, unless a Search action is used on your turn to try and spot the hidden attacker.
So, here’s how this works: When I post an enemy’s Hide check, unless that number is equal or lower than your Passive Perception, assume that you can no longer see it, and therefore, you become a potential target from any unseen attackers.
During your turn, you can either use a Search action to look for one hidden creature, take a Ready action to try and target one creature when it becomes visible, (you need to state which creature it is that you’re trying to spot,) or attack a hidden creature you can see. You can also try to minimize your exposure to hidden creatures. Hope that all makes sense.**
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As Belkas retreats and feels the small, but warm rush of healing energy surge through his body, Arisa continues to advance ahead of Naxene, who backs up to get partial cover behind the Miros. With her keen eyes, Arisa is easily able to spot Goblin (A) that shot her gnome companion, and with a quick spell, she kills it instantly with a flaming missile attack.
One of the two uninjured ogres stomps forward with primal, stupid aggression, approaching to within 30 feet of Arisa before hurling its javelin at the cleric. Attack: 16 Damage: 7. It's still behind the fence inside the pen, but not trying to seek any kind of cover behind the various obstacles inside the animal pens.
A few moments later, four more goblin arrows come flying out of the pen, aimed at Arisa, Attack: 24 Damage: 11, Elion, Attack: 22 Damage: 5, Vernon, Attack: 9 Damage: 7 and Miros: Attack: 17 Damage: 5 All four arrows hit their targets with near deadly accuracy.
Then, all four goblins run for new hiding places. (Passive Perception need to spot: Goblin F: 9, Goblin G: 13, Goblin H: 9, Goblin E: 18)
Meanwhile, the third bugbear, (Bugbear C) hops the fence and creeps forward in a tactical approach on the right flank (towards where Zyllith is hiding.) Perception needed to spot this one: 26.
Con saves to keep Divine Favor: 10 + 2 = 12; 12 + 2 = 14. Vernon notices that his shield is helping him spot goblins but not helping him block arrows. "And that's why my faith is not in this shield."
Vernon will run towards the nearest visible enemy (passive perception 15), attempting to move on to another if he kills the first target with movement remaining.
After taking an arrow hit, Vernon watches the four goblins as they scurry for new hiding places. He keeps his eyes trained on Goblin F, who actually takes a more forwards position along the left flank, just on the other side of the fence. Realizing how close he ended up, Vernon rushes the creatures and attacks with full force, bashing the life out of the assailant with a powerful swing of his hammer and a blast of radiant light. He then turns and takes another look at the evolving battlefield.
(Since this is a pretty big battle, I'm going to move things along and post for Osmord.)
From his position, Osmord is able to spot one of the goblins who just hit Vernon (Goblin H). Casting Chill Touch once again, the tortle sends his spectral hand towards the bow wielding creature. Attack: 11 Damage: 9 Unfortunately, the goblin is able to avoid the attack.
Miros, who is still reeling from an arrow would, lets out an angry rage-filled grunt, similar to what your saw in the inn last night when you told him that his parents had died. Reloading his heavy crossbow, he's able to spot the very goblin that hit him (Goblin G). He takes careful aim and fires. Attack: 8 Damage: 2. He's unable to hit the goblin, though, who's partially hiding behind a fence post.
Meanwhile, the last bugbear (Bugbear A) follows the same pattern as his other three companions, rushing forward up the right flank (Zyllith's side) and trying to hide in the grass. (Perception check of 20 to spot him.)
Finally, the second ogre also runs forward up to the fence and hurls his javelin at Vernon, with as much force as his huge, muscular body can muster. Attack: 17 Damage: 11 His weapon hits the gnome right in the chest, almost knocking him over from the force of the blow. The ogre ends up about 20 feet away from the Vernon.
Round 2
(One of the goblins has been killed, and the ogre from the last group was also killed.)
After losing sight of the previous goblins she was closing in on, Zyllith thinks about going after one of the other goblins she can see. However there still lingered a tingling sensation coming from somewhere in the direction where she last saw that goblins. She pulls out another dagger, narrowing her eyes as she slides unseen forward, preparing the ambush the ambusher as soon as it shows his head.
---
Moving forward and staying hidden for her turn, she'll try to get closer to where she thinks the goblin which has her Hunter's Mark is to get in range. (Goblin J)
She will hold her action to attack that goblin as soon as she sees it emerge.
Rolling her attack ahead of time (advantage from hidden): 15+8 = 23 Damage: 7 + 11 sneak attack + 6 Hunter's mark = 24
Zyllith creeps silently towards the area where she saw Goblin J, knowing that there are also two hidden bugbears somewhere nearby. She lies in wait, dagger ready, hoping to dispatch the goblin archer as soon as it makes an appearance.
Tenuous moments pass by in the night, when all of a sudden, she hears the twang of a bow string and sees an arrow emerge from the grass just a few feet in front of her. The arrow is targeted right at Osmord. Attack: 24 Damage: 8. It slams into the soft tissue of his body just beneath the shell, but the shot gave away the goblin's position.
Before it can even make a move, Zyllith whips the dagger with a quick flick of her wrist. It spins through the air with barely a sound and embeds itself to the hilt in the goblin's neck, killing it instantly, before it can even take another breath.
(Does Zyllith use her Bonus Action to try and hide again after the attack?)
Belkas sees his companions getting hit by arrows and swears. If only there were a way to get the enemies gathered in a group and hit them with another fireball.
He throws out two more Eldritch Blast at the nearest ogre and asks Crowley to take out another goblin.
---
If the ogres are approaching where Belkas is trying to keep from being shot by arrows, he will move farther away, always looking for some cover.
Eldritch Blast:
1st: To hit 8, damage 6
2nd: To hit 15, damage 14
Imp:
To hit 9 (4+5), damage 5 (2+3), plus poison 9 damage, or 4 on a successful CON DC 11 saving throw.
With the increasingly dangerous offensive this group is displaying, Belkas tries to do his part to help reduce further damage to the party. However, his concentration falters on his first spell and his aim is wide. Gaining composure, he sends another Eldritch Blast forth that strikes the ogre in the left shoulder. Of course this causes the beast to become even angrier and possibly more dangerous, but at least Belkas knows that he has injured it.
With only a couple of goblins in easy sight, Crowly flies over to Goblin H, but he is unable to land an effective attack on the creature.
Suddenly, another arrow comes out of the grass, straight towards Arisa. Attack: 24 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. She barely has time to react to this attack from the hiding goblin (Goblin I), and she watches as the little menace rises up out of the grass and runs for cover in a new location. (Perception of 18 to spot Goblin I).
A moment later, a javelin flies out of the grass on the left side of the fence right at Osmord Attack: 11 Damage: 8 He too has little time to react before watching the bugbear who threw it charge forth from his hiding place and rush into the fray. He hops the fence and breaks out onto the road just a few feet from Arisa, Osmord and Belkas, his menacing 7-foot tall stature a frightful sight, with battle worn hide armor covering mats of short, thick golden colored fur and a terrible looking morningstar in his grasp.
Naxene looks on with horror at the brutish creature, and responds with a different kind of spell attack. Stepping out from behind Miros, she makes a few intricate hand motions and speaks a flurry of arcane words, and then a trio of magical missiles fly forth from her hand and slam into he bugbear. 6. The bugbear reacts with a furious roar as he reels from the pain of the attack.
Just then, two more arrows come flying out of the grass, one aimed at Vernon Attack: 21 Damage: 5 and the other at Belkas, who is still lying prone. Attack: 17 Damage: 4 Still, the arrow hits. After firing, the two goblins run for new cover. (Perception checks to spot Goblin A: 22 and Goblin B: 20)
You hear something behind you... it's the Shou woman who has just run down from the abbey. (Apparently, she was tying up the two sleeping goblins.) She joins you in battle and slings a stone at Goblin G, who she can see hiding in the grass. Attack: 8 Damage: 5 and Attack: 20 Damage: 5 Her second sling stone kills the creature.
From his position about ten feet away, and crouching down by one of the fenceposts, Elion loads another arrow into his bow and fires at the bugbear that just come out onto the road: Attack: 13 Damage: 10 Unfortunately, he misses.
Two more goblin arrows fly forth out of the darkness, both aimed at the sling wielding Shou woman. Attack: 17 Damage: 4 and Attack: 19 Damage: 6. Both arrows hit, and then the two goblins run for new hiding places. (Perception check to spot Goblin C: 13 and Goblin D: 15.
Shalvus, who was hiding in the grass fires a bolt from his hand crossbow at the uninjured ogre. Attack: 20 Damage: 3 Plus 7. The beast never saw it coming and he roars in pain from the vicious attack.
Arisa is up.
(Still 7 goblin archers and three bugbears hiding in the grass and one bugbear out on the road. The two ogres are just inside the pens, one near 20 feet away from Vernon. Miros is injured, as is the Shou woman, and Vernon is pretty badly inured.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Arisa, horrified about all of the attacks, but missed by this latest goblin blow, casts spirit guardians exempting her allies from the effect.
a swarm of ghostly angelic figures fill the air around Arisa, and she advances into the thick of where the goblins and bugbears may be (passive perception 17, but will best guess where they are hiding- trying to hit as many as possible with the 15’ radius effects). 14

she also uses shillelagh on her staff (bonus action) and prepares for melee…

As Arisa calls forth the the magical spirts to protect and her allies she rushes over the fence and into the grass over to where she can see Goblins C and D trying to hide. They are close enough to each other that the 15' area of the spell encompasses both of these two creatures.
The ogre that threw the javelin at her before decides to chase after her. He quickly lumbers over to where she is, oddly slowing down as he approach her, seemingly unaware of the danger he just put himself in. WIS Save: -1. He finds himself suddenly enveloped in a flash of radiant light that sears his hulking body. He reacts by trying to bash Arisa with his great club. Attack: 9 Damage: 12. (Original damage roll: 22.) It's an absolutely brutal hit from the enraged creature.
Three more goblin arrows fly out of the grass, aimed at the Shou Woman Attack: 14 Damage: 5, Naxene Attack: 20 Damage: 3 and Osmord, Attack: 16 Damage: 8 although only the fourth came from an unseen attacker. All three goblins run for cover, but none do a very good job of hiding, and all three are now visible. (Goblins G, H, E).
And, the second bugbear attacks from his hidden position, throwing his javelin at Belkas. Attack: 20 Damage: 8Then, he too joins his companion on the road.
Meanwhile, the poor animals are all freaking out inside the pens as the combat escalates all around them.

Arisa with her passive perception 17 fires a firebolt at the goblin who hit Vernon 17 to hit 5 damage if hit.
she moves closer to the goblin front line, and uses healing word on Belkas for 1d4+4 hp of healing.
8 healing word on Belkas.

Two goblins down. Belkas is up.
radiant damage DC 15 wisdom save for half.
she also uses shillelagh on her staff (bonus action) and prepares for melee…
Osmord and Vernon are up.
