"Aye, let's move! Hope there be others what can fight 'em wankers. Otherwise twould be hard ta' reach 'em 'fore they make tha walls." Zyllith is already moving quickly west in the hopes of catching up with the remnants of these invaders. Anyone taking a look at her would easily notice the several serious cuts and bruises that she sustained in battle, but it seems it's not life threatening enough for her to ask for healing. At least it doesn't slow her down as she runs off.
With Naxene, Miros and Shalvus in tow, after he has finished putting all of the pigs, turkeys and chickens back in their respective pens, and Zi Liang in the lead, you all hop the fence, rush through the sheep pen, and then cross over another fence into the large grazing field, where you see a number of oxen and cows scattered about. This huge field is about a half mile across, and as you run across that, while doing your best, but not always succeeding to dodge the occasional cow pie, you get close to the other side of it and see the silhouettes of the large, squat grain towers in the distance up ahead and to the right.
Crowley, who has been spotting for you up in the air, informs you that the band is further beyond the towers, and as you cross another fence and continue to hoof it across the wheat fields, you see movement up ahead. A couple hundred feet in front of you, you spot the group of monsters. They're not moving exceptionally fast, because they appear to be carrying large bundles or sacks of some kind. They're moving away from you in a loose group, headed west through the fields, and it appears to be a similar collection of goblins, bugbears and two large ogres who tower above the tops of the stalks. The wheat right is only 3-4 feet tall, just tall enough to for you to spot the goblin heads, but you know how easy it is for them to hide in this type of terrain.
Ok, here we go again. I'm going to assume that with your approach from the rear flank, the monsters don't see you coming. That means you can a surprise attack/action in before they realize you're there. Right now, you're 150 feet away from the loosely spaced group.
As you get closer and commence the attack from afar, Zi Liang says,
"Yes we need to coordinate a better strategy than we had last time. I fear we won't last another battle like that one if we let ourselves get peppered by goblin arrows. Those things may be small, but they can be extremely dangerous when they're hiding. I think that magic is going to be the key in this fight. If any of you have more spells that can put some of them to sleep, that seemed to work last time."
"However, I would caution against the use of a giant fireball in these fields. That could prove to be disastrous if we were to start a massive brush fire here."
Naxene adds, "I agree, we cannot afford to become pincushions for those goblins like we were last time. Those of us who can cast need to take advantage of what magic we have. I have a few more spells prepared that I can use.
Miros responds, "I say we try and take out the ogres first. Goblins are cowards, so if we can come in heavy and kill the big bosses, the li'l one'll run scared like babies. 'Course, them bigger goblins is a problem too."
As you listen to these strategic ideas, you watch as Arisa's fire bolt slams into one of the ogres head, exploding in a small explosion. The beast turns around to see where it came from.
Behind you, Lifferlas is approaching, slowly making his way across the field.
Shalvus says to Elion, "Goblins ain't the only ones who can snipe and run. C'mon elf, let's head off and flank 'em, draw their attention way from the rest of the group." Then he and Elion rush off to the left to try and advance as far as they can while remaining unseen.
Moving into range, Osmored sends his ghastly, spectral hands towards one of the ogres. The first one claws at the monster with a terrifying attack, which brings further roars of pain from the monster. Unfortunately, the ogre is able to dodge Osmord's second attack, as clumsy at is is.
Vernon will advance 25ft and cast Moonbeam at the full 120ft range, creating a 5ft radius pillar of dim light just this side of the ogres. (2d10 radiant, CON 13 for half damage, triggers when entering the area or starting a turn there.)
For clarification, Vernon is placing the Moonbeam between one of the ogres and your position, not directly in the same location where the ogre is standing?
As they are too far away for Zyllith to be effective, she will move quickly through the tall grass (double movement) trying to stay hidden the entire time.

I don't believe he can reach the direct location, but he would if it worked.
Belkas mutters unhappily to himself when he realizes that they will not be able to hole up in the grain towers. He sends out two Eldritch Blasts at the most wounded ogre when he is in range and then crouches down in the wheat. Crowley dives down at a goblin, trying to sting it.
---
Eldritch Blast:
1st: To hit 9, damage 7
2nd: To hit 20, damage 13
Imp:
To hit 19 (14+5) for 6 (3+3) damage and poison 12 damage, or 6 on a successful CON 15 saving throw.
Belkas watches as his second blast explodes onto the ogres chest with a brief display of sparks and glowing energy. Meanwhile, Crowley, who has flown ahead of your group, descends upon one of the goblins and delivers a deadly sting to the creature. Apparently, he has finally decided to play for reals now.
The group of monsters, now fully aware of your presence, begins to fan out in a more tactical position as they prepare for combat.

Initiative: (19, 1) = 19.
Vernon will take off at top speed again, hoping his short stature and lack of noisy armor will help hide him.
Releasing a heavy sigh Osmord follows, keeping a healthy distance behind as always. (about 30ft)
Initiative : 19

Arisa runs along with Vernon, but staying low to the ground, to get some cover.

So, everyone post their first round of actions.
Arisa will advance to where she can just reach the largest ogre with a firebolt, and will shoot it. (120’)

12 fire damage
“let’s focus our attacks where we can. Maybe reduce the numbers of goblins with some area magic”
she whispers to the group. She tries to duck down in the wheat after her shot.

Osmord moves into range for his chill touch spell and releases the thin tendrils of necrotic energy at the two ogres :
Attack 1 : Attack: 8 Damage: 15
Attack 2 : Attack: 20 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
As a bonus action he says a silent prayer to the lord of the grave and casts shield of faith on himself.

If Vernon moves forward before casting, he’ll be within range to target one of the ogres. His Moonbeam appears right over the second, uninjured ogre.
Meanwhile, Zyllith races forward as fast as she can, using the tall wheat for cover.
