I believe you checked all the doors in the two rooms and yes Floon can properly walk if healed. Renaer points Zera to the pedestal "how about you check up there?"

Looking frustrated that Zera ignored him, Renaer, Carefully lays Floon down and runs over to the raised platform, in which he finds alcove behind the seat, he pulls out a couple healing potions on top of a box of coins,”look what I found!”
