Ssej wakes up and starts to do some stretches limbering up his body and the notices the shield. Looking at the two elves he points to the shield, "Anyone want to explain that shield? Did something happen during the night we should know about?"
Then will walk over to the shield and pick it up examining it to see if he can figure anything out about it.
Ichika nods at Kallandra as she puts her armor back on. "Please don't mention it." She replies in common. "Thank you for keeping watch as well. It was nice to have a peaceful night, some much needed rest during our travels, prepares us for another day."
She stands up when she finished dressing. "Shall we go check on the others?"
Yashin shrugs and stifles a yawn as he answers Ssej and Brock. “Someone appeared in the room last night, then disappeared as I confronted him. He left the shield.” Yashin glances over at Ssej “I didn’t see his face, but he wore the robes of a spellcaster.”
"The shield radiates the feel of magic, but I can't make any sense of what it does or where it came from. Take a look. Maybe it is a gift for one of us."
Grishkar shambles into the common room of the inn, bereft of his usual combination of graceful superiority and leper-like charm. This shadow of his normal self remained tucked deep within his robes and found a deserted corner to wait for the others.

Kallandra nods, checks over her gear, shoulders her magical bow, and then moves cautiously out the door. One can never be too careful. She turns down the hall to the mens' room, knowing Ichika is right behind her. A very good companion, the other woman, and Kallandra is lucky to have her at her back. She pauses at the door, a feeling of mischief coming over her. With regret, she pushes it down. They were all too on edge to indulge in silly surprises.
"Gentlemen, are you ready to have breakfast?" she calls sweetly, putting a little musical flow into her words.

Kallandra eyes Ssej with interest. "Now that sounds interesting, indeed, Ssej. I should like to examine it All that happened to me was some man named Jonas Goodnight wants us all to star in his next stage production." She goes on to relate the brief conversation. Then, "I too would like to make a stop if possible, at a store in the Lower City called Sorcerous Sundries. Looking for potion ingredients, also for anti-toxins." Looking around, she notices Grishkar is not with the group. "The necromancer is missing." She looks around for him, silently requesting aid from her mistress.
Grishkar turns a slow, languid gaze to Brock's comparatively energetic morning demeanor, "Yes...there was enough sleep...just no comfort in it." As he speaks, his words seem to ooze out as though they weren't ready to be thrust into the world yet. "I was...disturbed from my typically peaceful arrangements, and it's affecting me dreadfully today."

"Ahh don't worry about it, a little rest along the road should fix you," says Brock with a laugh as he slaps the wizard on the back.
Leaning in Brock whispers, "I got something I would like you to take a look at. We think it magical in nature. We will wait until we get to the wagon to investigate."
"Yashin me lad, what do you want for breakfast? I'm buying," says the merry Dwarf as he walks away.
"After breakfast where do we want to meet as it appears we have a few errands to conclude before we leave this city and continue our quest?" Ssej asks?
“Breakfast? Oh, yes, breakfast”Yashin is shaken awake from some sort of daydream at the mention of food and quickly hurries after Brock.
“Brock, I need to see the shield again” he whispers to the Dwarf, looking around to make sure no one is paying attention “I can hear it talking to me now. I couldn’t tell at the time, but I am sure the being on the front is wearing the symbol of the Storm Lord. I must get a closer look” His voice sounds urgent as he rubs the three lightning bolt symbol of Talos hanging around his own neck.

Ssej
The shield is magical, that you can tell for certain, but you draw a blank as you try to recall if you have heard of any shield like this before.
"Ah maybe we should talk to the wizard about this one. Anyways were did that one run off to," asks Brock as he gets back into his disguise.

Ssej will shrug and pick up the shield, "Anyone have a bag of holding we can put this in?"
If no one has a bag, he will sling the shield over his back under his cloak, hiding it as best he can.

"You can throw it in here, lad," says Brock opening his bag of holding.
After hiding the shield, a knock came at the door, followed by a singing voice.
"We are up lass, also I didn't know you could sing," says Brock heading out the door.
As he heads into the common room and notices the disheveled necromancer.
"Oi Wizard, you don't look like you got a wink of sleep. What were you up to last night," asks the Dwarf.

Umeven will wait outside. He's tired, but it might be harder to see on the elvish features.
He'll wait til they're on the road to bring up his concerns.
