If truly allowed to leave, the woman zhent starts walking North. She drops her mace, her leather armor, and her heavy crossbow, as well as her crossbow bolts. (Included in the above loot.)
Casting a worried glance to the group, she moves past the wagon, and starts down the road you just travveled, moving towards the North.
"Bane and the Zhentarim,"Valor says quietly, thinking for a moment.
"These before us have done their job and delayed us. We will not know if our enemy has succeeded in their plan unless we set out immediately. I feel we have wasted too much time counting the spoils of this encounter." Valor states and mounts his horse to continue.
"Well we need to fund ourselves somehow, and that skirmish went pretty quick. But I agree we need to hit the road immediately. We should suspect more opposition in the future as well," says Brock finishing picking up what he could find before moving back towards the wagon taking back his usual perch.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ssej will inspect the grounds once more before setting off, seeing if he can find the tracks that might lead back to the camp of this enemy. Wondering if they might have any extra horses back at camp or anything else of note.
Yashin helps Brock gather the discarded weapons and equipment and throw them in the wagon. “We should be able to turn these into a nice profit later down the road” He climbs back up to his seat “Valor, I agree, we should get going and try to make up for lost time” He will start moving down the road when the group resumes travel.
Kerah stays silent while the others deal with the prisoner and loot. He was satisfied with the result. If Auril wanted this one too, the woman will freeze on the way. When they resume travelling, Kerah spends the first hour on the cart, meditating and praying for his goddess. Then, he turns into a giant eagle once more and flies above to scout the skies.
(Taking a short rest to use Natural Recovery to regain the spent 5th level spell slot, as well as the uses of Wildshape.)
Aio Vanthis retrieves his preferred horse and gets ready to set out near the lead once again, his owl Artemis now off on a separate mission. As the group departs he looks down at the rapidly melting remains of the simulacrum and envisions the group tangling with the real thing eventually. He makes a mental note of any spells cast by the copy, such as its initial firebolt, to start considering his tactics again the powerful Zhentarim caster.
Looking around the area of the battle, you find that the campsite of these bandits is right where they were waiting. The interesting thing is that there does not appear to be any tracks leading to the campsight, as if they appeared in that spot and did not travel there. The arcane-oriented of you would expect conjuration magic to be involved, likely some sort of telportation. With the simulacrum involved this does not come as a surprise though.
As you move forward again, the brewing storm out in the sea of swords makes landfall. You travel forward in a downpour of rain, with thunder and lightning flashing overhead.
As you traveled from the potential ambushers, which you took out easily enough, the storm made land fall. Almost immediately the wind changed, and started to blow more Westerly than it had been previously. The storm stayed put for about an hour, sending torrents of rain onto you, but then, reluctantly it seemed, started to move more out onto the Sea of Swords once again.
As the evening moved along the wind continued to be more Westerly, sending the storm more out over the Sea of Swords, and thinning out the clouds overhead further. By the time you made camp it was clear skies overhead.
Do you use the tower still, or are you camping out as normal. Sorry I didn't have access to the weather site this past weekend, so was not able to check the actual weather out for that day until now. The wind did change from directly North to NW and even W in the actual forcast. Basicly the storm blew up from the South, making landfall, then was sent out to the NW and W to be over the Sea of Swords again. Works out fairly nice for our narrative here, as it seemed like the hand of one of the gods might have moved the storm away from you and back towards those you are trying to outrun to your destination.
Will update again once I get an answer regarding the tower use or not.

The owl follows above her, dogging her footsteps.
What do the rest of you do?
Ssej will stare after her until she is gone from site, noting the direction she is traveling.

"After we cover some more ground for today, I may be able to find us some shelter" remarks the elven wizard.
That night you make camp alongside the road.
Please give me watch orders, as well as perception checks for those keeping watch.
Valor
Valor can take middle watch.
Perception: 8
Brock will take first, since he is still fresh pretty much.
22
Dormark Calling of Strahd (warforged cleric) 4
Ssej will take the last watch.
Perception: 25
Senna can take the watch before Ssej (3rd watch unless there is more than 4 watches).
(If it's still raining heavily, Aio was going to offer to conjure Galder's Tower. Probably still good to keep a watch though either way.)

(WIll save the tower for another time. Thanks!)
Senna, during your watch you hear a soft sound in the woods nearby. Please give me a second perception check.
