Senna thinks she heard something in the forest, a soft slithering sound, but, as she focuses a bit more on the area she heard it from, a loud snore from one of her companions makes it hard to tell if it was anything or not. What do you wish to do? You can take an action to do another perception check, you can wake someone, you can move in the direction to check it out yourself, or you can do something else completely. Let me know.
Senna looks back towards the camp as her companions loud noises are not making it easy to hear.
Since she is not sure she heard anything she assumes its nothing. So wont wake her companions but will move her hands together and whisper a few words Where there is one, Senna moves her hands apart again, let there be many.
Senna As you move further from camp, you spot several snake-like figures in the trees. You still have ten feet of movement, if you wish to move back towards camp, and can use your free action to call out. Please let me know what you do.
Everyone else, please roll initiative (I have already rolled Senna's) and give me a perception check with disadvantage.
If any elfs, or someone else who does not need to sleep for some reason, was not on the first or second watches, and would have completed their 4 hours of trance-time, then let me know that as well, and you do not need to roll perception with disadvantage.
Once Senna spots the snake creatures she has confirms there is something out here so will move back as far as she can and yell out for the others We have company!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ssej Initiative: 29
Perception: 11
[OOC: Just as a clarification, the [feat]Alert[/feat] does nothing for me when I am sleeping right? As when I am asleep I am technically "unconscious" or what say you?]
(OOC: Appreciate the reminder about the elf's rest, and it's a good question. I think it make sense for Aio to try to get his rest in during the first half of the night in case it is interrupted and then spend the latter going over spells, silently practicing his movements and footwork with his sword, etc. during the second half. We can roll with that routine going forward for Aio. Thanks DM!)
Ichika and Valor seem to be deep sleepers. You both stay asleep.
Everyone else is woken by Senna's shout. You are prone currently, but can act normally this round. Ichika and Valor can give me another perception check, with disadvantage, if no one wakes them before the end of the round.
Initiative order is: Ssej > Aio > Yashin > Ichika > Yuan-ti Malisons > Yuan-ti Mind Whisperers > Yuan-ti Abomination > Yuan-ti Purebloods > Valor > Yuan-ti Priests > Senna > Kerah > Brock
Ssej, Aio, Yashin, and Ichika can post actions now.
I am moving back to an Excel-based map. Of note the row numbering will be off, so please, when moving, just give me a number of cells you move and what directions you move. For example, Bob moves 3 cells East and 2 cells North.
The elf, who was busy reading, is silently on his feet and alert in the blink of an eye. Seeing movement in the trees but little more regarding Senna's warning he says calmly "wake them" regarding the others before casting Greater Invisibility. Moving unseen he quietly heads south east (to a total of 50ft of movement) while running his hand along his fine elven blade to once again bond with the blade and the elven magic that will guide his movements in battle.
Notes: Greater Invis. & Bladesong active AC=24 Movement=50ft

With a bestial roar that will hopefully wake up the rest of the camp, Ssej leaps up and moves straight for the enemies to the west of him, pulling out his dagger and attacking.
Ssej (Going to assume you have 55 feet movement, so can actually do your action.) You strike at the largest of the three snake-like figures, but miss. Both strikes into the figure to your right hit though, doing damage with both. The priest is stunned.
Aio Turns invisible, and moves to the South and East.
Yashin Need action still... Will bot if not recieved within 24 hours of this post.
Ichika You wake, thanks to Ssej's roar, as that decreased the DC for waking. No action this round, but you can use your movement to stand up.
Yashin, conditioned to be a light sleeper by years of living in the mountains, is jolted awake by Senna’s shout and Ssej’s roar. He jumps to his feet and as his attention is drawn to the commotion to the west, he notices additional creatures moving to the south. He turns in that direction and a loud ringing noise emanates from the south focused on that group as he casts Shatter
Casting as a 5th level spell and maximizing damage using destructive wrath, the three targets (Priest 2, PB3, PB4) take 48 damage, half that on a CON 19 saving throw.
OOC: I assume I am sleeping to the south next to Ichika, I didn’t see Yashin on the map.
[OOC: I have 50' of movement and I did not realize they were so far away. Getting up from being prone I would only have 25' of movement so there is no way I would have reached any of them. When I clicked the map link I failed to scroll down to see the number of boxes along the top row so failed to notice they were that far away. So yea I won;t be bale to reach them to attack.]
