Valor looks around at the carnage and shakes his head. He then starts grabbing bodies to a spot far from camp, approximately 20 or 30 meters, down wind. He piles the bodies together, making sure he wears gloves and only grabs a limb to drag them.
"Thank you my scaly friend, to live to fight another day right," says Brock. "Oy, elf where you go, we had a bunch of snake people after us and you up and vanish? I don't know about you," says the dwarf grinning playfully. "Well if you need me, I'm going back to bed. I need to get more beauty sleep if I'm going to be any good in the morning,' says Brock. the half dress dwarf rambles back towards his sleeping area lies down, covers himself, and goes to sleep

On the bodies you find 530 GP and 600 PP. You also find a variety of scimitars and longbows, with arrows. On the two priests you find a symbol of a god that some of you may recognize. Please give me a religion check.
Zehir, the Cloaked Serpent He is shown as a human body with six arms and a gargantuan serpentine head, fanged and frilled in aggression. Strands of thick, dark hair that sprout from his scaled body form layers of swirling shadow, obscuring his form.
You do not recall much about him though, just that he is worshiped by serpents and serpentkin.

"Hiding as always, of course"replies Aio to the dwarf with a smirk as he wipes the Yuan-Ti blood off of his sword with a clean cloth.
(So I'm wondering what Aio would think of a Yuan-Ti attack in this local area and region. Is this likely to be a local tribe of them attacking to defend their territory, or were they more likely to have been hired by our enemies, etc.? Is their natural/likely habitat nearby? etc. Happy to make the appropriate roll, of course. Actually: 10 , add 9 for History, 5 for Nature, etc.)

You cannot recall who the Yuan-Ti might have worshiped.
You would not expect to find Yuan-Ti in this region, and it is unlikely they happened here by chance. You would assume they were here to find your group in particular.
Feeling guilty for sleeping through most of the battle, Valor will stay up for a while, checking perimeters and making sure the bodies are away from the camp. Valor will sleep some but once everyone is ready he will be ready to move on with the journey.
(Did we agree that someone is logging all of the group coin?)
Aio walks what had become their most recent battlefield of sorts. He studies each ambusher and the wounds his companions inflicted, as well as the woulds the latter suffered. Always the tactician leading the elves of Cormanthor in battle he is constantly studying the abilities of his new allies to ensure the group is at its best as a unit when it really counts down the road, literally.
Eventually, having already rested as much as an elf needs to rest for the night, Aio sits down by the campfire to study his spells and mentally prepare for the next day.
The next morning dawns fair with a cool breaze coming off of the Sea of Swords. The group gets ready and are soon on the road, heading to the South still. In the afternoon a few clouds move in, but they soon move out again, the day ending as fair as it started. The wind has gone from a light breeze, to a decent wind, but has softened towards the end of the day as well.
As the day begins to turn towards evening you come to a road that twists off of the Trade Way. A signpost nearby has an arrow pointing towards the road, with Nightstone near the arrow. Another arrow points the direction you have come from, with Waterdeep written near that one. A third arrow points South, with Daggerford listed near that arrow.
With what you know of the area, you would know that Nighstone is only a few minutes down the road to the East, while Waterdeep and Daggerford are multiple days to the North and South respectively.
"Makess no difference to me, but ssome of you ssofter folk might enjoy ssleeping in a bed tonight, do we continue our travel to thiss town or jusst make camp out of the way nearby?" Ssej asks.
You would know Nighstone is close enough to reach for tonight's rest. You could likely sell some of the things you have gotten so far here, and have a night in a tavern/inn. Your other choice is to camp out here on the road. either is a valid choice, so let me know what you choose.
Ichika nods to Brock. "Yes," She suggests, "Let's make way to Nighstone and rest there. A night of sleep in a bed and a proper bath would be nice. And we can make our trades in the morning before we set out again in the morning."

You recall a god of some Yuan-Ti...

Ssej looks about the camp and area once more and then curls up wrapping his tail around his body, his head resting on it and quickly falls asleep.

"Hmmm Wich way are we suppose to go again," asks Brock looking at the crossroad.

“We should go to town sell off our loot and see what news is around these parts,” says Brock as he begins tuning his lute.
