Calmly stepping towards A1, Chronolo immediately locks down Bzeczumi and extends its palm once more, unleashing a pulse of crackling temporal energy. Bzeczumi feels a rush of power surge through his conscience as the weight of time assaults his mind!
Movement 1 - towards A1. Action - Tasha’s Mind Whip. DC 16 Intelligence saving throw or 7 Psychic damage. On a failure, Bzeczumi can only use one movement, standard, or bonus action on his next turn. On a success, the damage is halved and Bzeczumi suffers no additional effects. Movement 2 - upon the spell being completed, Chronolo shifts behind the wall (C2) to observe Bzeczumi’s next move and adjust its next course of action accordingly.
Chronolo’s owl swoops upwards and whirrs to a closer location, still keeping a watchful, mechanical eye out for Bzeczumi (J2) before dipping behind the wall in order to avoid being stricken from the sky by an arrow.
Chronolo promptly makes use of the intel to surprise Bzeczumi in stepping few feet necessary to get a view upon the aarakocra, and assault his mind with but a fragment of the crushing weight of time. Meanwhile, the drone takes flight and finally advances further into the field. Though, it would need to put a bit of extra effort duck back down to the ground in time.
After all that, the vents begin to let out a long, low hiss as black smoke that smelled of ozone began pouring out from the vents, subsuming the Aaracockra in the deadly cloud.

Bzeczumi cannot endure the mental assault, and with the cloud of death threatening to finish what Chronolo started, he takes into the air and flew to the bottom of the pit to buy time perhaps and regain his composure.
Observing the reeling Bzeczumi take to the skies and soar away, Chronolo - cowl fluttering slightly with each movement - calmly marches forwards and levels its palm once more towards Bzeczumi. Everything was going according to plan. Another pulse of blue energy gathers as several blasts of arcane force pummel the now-visible Bzeczumi from afar.

After a somewhat confusing match towards the end, Bzeczumi surrenders the match. With that, a horn blares and signal firebolts of various coloration flies up into the sky, signaling an end to the match. Constructs and medical staff enter the arena both to further ensure the stability of conditions and escorts the defeated to the trauma ward with a backdrop of cheers and applause for having fought valiant despite it all. For his participation and experience garnered in the coliseum, Bzeczumi receive 3800 xp and 400 gp.
The victor is taken below to be patched up and receive their prize on the receding sounds of a crowd's cheers and well wishes. Chronolo earns 7500 xp and 1000 gp, and are ready to proceed to the next round as well.
Tier 2:
"Take any one item. We're well equipped." The room contains every item from Chapter 5 of the Player's Handbook weighing 70 pounds or less, armor of varying sizes, instruments, tool kits. There are also spell scrolls, every first level spell is present (as well as spell scrolls of a level for which a magic user of the characters new level would have slots for), and an encyclopedia of knowledge. Reading these books will grant you proficiency with any one tool kit or any one language, depending which book you choose. The books are magically infused to allow easy retention, but the magic is lost once used.

After a somewhat confusing match towards the end, Bzeczumi surrenders the match. With that, a horn blares and signal firebolts of various coloration flies up into the sky, signaling an end to the match. Constructs and medical staff enter the arena both to further ensure the stability of conditions and escorts the defeated to the trauma ward with a backdrop of cheers and applause for having fought valiant despite it all. For his participation and experience garnered in the coliseum, Bzeczumi receive 3800 xp and 400 gp.
The victor is taken below to be patched up and receive their prize on the receding sounds of a crowd's cheers and well wishes. Chronolo earns 7500 xp and 1000 gp, and are ready to proceed to the next round as well.
Tier 2:
"Take any one item. We're well equipped." The room contains every item from Chapter 5 of the Player's Handbook weighing 70 pounds or less, armor of varying sizes, instruments, tool kits. There are also spell scrolls, every first level spell is present (as well as spell scrolls of a level for which a magic user of the characters new level would have slots for), and an encyclopedia of knowledge. Reading these books will grant you proficiency with any one tool kit or any one language, depending which book you choose. The books are magically infused to allow easy retention, but the magic is lost once used.
Upper Tier:
The victor may choose instead, an item from a magically infused chest that summons 10 randomly selected magic items to choose from (rarity determined by level). Alternatively they may exchange a magic item for another item of their choosing of the same rarity or lower, if the administrator has the requested item in his extensive collection. "You name it, we've probably got one somewhere."
