OOC > Sorry, work crisis. That’s life in politics. Dickheads being dickheads and someone has to clean up. I’m probably out until later tonight.
(I read the second sentence, then it was repeated in the third. Why u talking in circles? :P)

AREA 8 - UNKH'S SHRINE
Swirly carvings decorate two obelisks at the entrance to this compound. An overgrown courtyard lies under the shade of tall palms. Stone doors seal the entrance to a windowless shrine, with a smaller ruin standing nearby. This is the shrine of the trickster god Unkh.
"Unkh urges us to contrast all options before acting"
At 8A there is a closed stone door that weighs about 600 pounds. a STR DC 15 test is needed to lift it open to proceed.
Bree will go check out the ‘smaller ruin standing nearby.’
”If I were a trickster god, I’d make that,” she gestures to the windowless shrine, “a trap, and this,” to the smaller ruin as she approaches it, “the treasury.”
Papazotl is wary.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
8B appears to be a ruined workshop of some sort. The roof collapsed long ago, and now a thick mass of plants grows from the rubble. Through the moss, you see hundreds of iron keys hanging from the hooks on the wall. Some are bent and broken, while others are rusted beyond repair. The rest look serviceable.
“Yeah, that’s fair, Yasei. None of the doors have been trapped so far, but doesn’t hurt to weigh the options. Unless the T-Rex is back!” Clayton whips around and looks with suspicion. No sign of the King of Feathers?
At the sound of the door grinding open, Clayton spins back, “Aha! Found you, you giant liza- Oh it’s you. I see y’all opened the door. Nice work, Yasei.”

Mal begins searching the body.
Slither takes a slice of the tabaxi's thigh. "Stringy....tastes like missed opportunity, yes?"
The only thing on the Tabaxi is a bloody, worn picture of what looks to be his son. Nothing more.
"Uh, Should we look around for a child or somebody else or something. I mean. This was kinda random."
Clayton winces and sharply intakes, “That’s not good...”

Sadly, there is no evidence that another tabaxi is, was, or would be around the area.

Let's search the ruins in the area for anything useful, all while keeping our guard up in case there are any other tab-taxi's hanging around.

Yasei consults the rest of the group. “Shall I attempt to open the stone door, or do we need the advice written above and contrast all options first?”

Yasei accepts Slither's guidance, and attempts to lift open the heavy stone door on the main building: 26
Muahahahaha! She lifts and pushes aside the door like it's a shōji made of rice paper.
