This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The one lone goblin has a frantic moment - of his four companions, one lay dead in the wet leaves and the other 3 asleep. The goblin curses and uses his action to slap a sleeping goblin awake. The goblin awakes with a start takes in the scene in an instant
They each move 10 feet in different directions and both Bonus Action Hide.
To see them you need to make an active perception check against their Stealth. OOC - bare with me as I try to navigate the hiding rules
Goblin 1 18 Goblin 2 22
Goblin 3 and 4 are still asleep.
_____________
The Goblin Captain will also bonus action hide. Goblin 18
You hear the sound of something large barreling the way through the woods toward you all.
I will utilize the following if attacked from the current position:
Warding Flare
At 1st level, you can interpose divine light between yourself and an attacking enemy. When you are attacked by a creature within 30 feet of you that you can see, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll, causing light to flare before the attacker before it hits or misses. An attacker that can’t be blinded is immune to this feature.
Ash began to run down towards where the captain had been moments before(M17), her yellow eyes scanning and her lip forming a snarl. In anger she tossed her axe in the general area of where the smaller goblins had been, her rage frustrating her with all this cowardly hiding. Give her sport! Give her a monster with which she could cross blades! That was the glorious combat she craved!
OOC: I can still attack with disadvantage against a hidden target so she randomly tosses the axe hoping to get lucky.
(OOC- It messed up pox’s rolls when I tried to add the critical damage. The guard Captain took a total of 17 damage and Pox got a 19 On his stealth check after the attack.

Edit:
Pox tries to find the guard Captain but can’t, so instead he makes a minor illusion of a bush around where he is hiding. (He’s inside the bush)
10. Pox hides.
Copy that!
You need to make a perception check vs the captains 18 stealth.
21 pox perception on guard Captain
Neither Pox or the guard see each other. Pox hid in his illusionary bush.

Merai moves down closer to where the goblins were (careful not to walk past any though) and looks around to see if she can see any…

Little Iron looks into the forest and listens. He sees nothing other than his party member Pendergast.
He does hear the falls, and and that something large is running down the paths.
(everyone had super high stealth rolls)
On my turn I will ready an action to fire the crossbow at the first goblin I see.
