Angus gets down on one knee to be eye-level with Calner, and says sincerely, "Master Miggledy, please accept my apology for misunderstanding you. I do believe you. It is a poor excuse for my behavior, but I have been betrayed once before, and perhaps am oversensitive to the possibility. I welcome you to our company."
He then stands and continues forward with the rest of the party.
"Think nothing of it. I understand that trust must be earned. When we face these fearsome red wizard necromancers I am confident that my many magicks will be of both benefit to our group and bane to our enemies."
Calner also rejoins the group (again, in 4th or 5th position if possible) after asking, "What is your name good sir knight?"

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
"Ah, you must forgive my manners once again. I am Angus Killburney, Knight of Myth Drannor, son of Gregor, Lord Killburney, and Greer Giantslayer, also of the Knights. I am in this land as an emissary of my order, and am at your service. I look forward to seeing these magical talents of yours put to good use, routing evil, defending justice, protecting..... er, well anyway, welcome, once again.
"Say, speaking of necromancy, tell me Master Miggledy, what do you know of communication with the spirits of the dead? I have had some rather... unusual experiences where I thought I was perhaps receiving messages from a former master and friend. Could this sort of thing be a trick or a trap? Any thoughts?"
"I myself currently have no magicks that can pierce the great barrier between life and death, although I have heard of others who can. I see no reason why someone on the other side could not do likewise. As to whether it's a trick or trap... all I can advise is to match these messages against what you remember of your friend and see if they prove true or not."
Seeing the 3rd such medallion of protection hanging on the far wall, Calner will say rhetorically, "I'm going to hold onto this one for the moment if no one has any objections."
(Using his telekinetic feat, invisible Mage Hand with range 60 feet and his movement of 25 feet (total reach 85 feet) to lift the medallion and bring it to his hand, no V, S required to cast.)
Calner will wear the medallion openly, hoping it will provide some protection from any traps they may discover going forward.

Tabaqui will prepare a rope to toss. He will not risk his neck for falling wolves, but if any companions fall into a pit, he will attempt to throw them one end of the rope and hopefully prevent serious damage.
"I don't know how this works really, but what if the Bigfolk wear a medallion and the little folk ride on shoulders or in backpacks? It would be like someone traveling with their babe, could that work?"
Wen says this while twirling the medallion on her finger

The first level has no usable, surviving light sources. The second and third levels feature periodic wall sconces housing glassy stones magically enchanted to give off dim light. Most of them still work.
As the wolves move through the hallway, they pass an open doorway to the north (or they can look in it, doesn't matter). As they do, 3 bolts of lightning arc towards them (not the 4th), causing them to whimper and bellow (not trying to characterize your summons. Just saying they're making noise - a consequence of the failed DC 7 stealth check. (If it was an owl it would have had advantage.)
DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or 24 lightning damage, or half as much damage with a successful save. For 3 wolves under DC 16

The pair cautiously approach the doorway where the wolves were blasted and peer into the room beyond. They see another stele with the same blue spiral sigil.
The floor is etched deep with overlapping geometries, but much of the stone in the floor looks rough, ragged, and upset. Cracks in the north and east walls suggest the structural damage runs deep into the earth.
The wolf, Weneom and Safeguard can make Dex saves (DC 15) to grab the rope (with advantage). The wolf's going to have a heck of time, but she can bite it if she tries I guess. If Safeguard succeeds, Weneon doesn't need to, if weneon succeeds, but Safeguard doesn't, can choose to.make a strength check with disadvantage to help him (he's heavy. It's DC 18) or.let him drop. If Weneom tries and fails by more than 5, weneon and Safeguard both fall into the area below.

The collapsed floor of the second level hall reveals beneath it A grand chamber sprawls out here in contrast to the confines of any common barrow. Between the sagging stone ceiling and the polished stone floor stand at least a dozen wooden shelves holding stacked scrolls and bound tomes. The wood here is polished almost red, from the shelves to the wide tables and chairs scattered throughout. But the place has been ransacked. Furniture is on its side, papers are scattered everywhere, and bits of ma- sonry lie about here and there. The center of the room is a huge heap of open, damaged books and unfurled scrolls. The place smells like smoke.

Safeguard grabs for the rope Tabaqui threw out. "Oh my, that was close my friend." Then he shouts up to the rest of the party, "Thank you for your assistance and foresight!"
The entrance was at the West side of the barrow, so the whole 1st floor you headed East, then turned back ad you went down the stairs to travel West again in the 2nd floor. The room on the north side and part of the hallway floor have collapsed. The southern room and the room to the west (the far end of the hall) also have cracked floors, but they have yet to collapse.
No wolves are still present, (having returned to the feywild, I assume) but Safeguatd catches the rope, Weneon clinging to his back.
The pair climb their way to the west (far) end of the hall.
An open doorway to the south and another to the west stand before them, the going hole above the library at their backs.

"Do you think there is anything interesting down there?" Weneon asks
"I can hop down and take a look. Some of you look like book types"
She waits an extra moment before deciding it's best to beg forgiveness then ask permission. And she hops down, taking 5 damage as she uses her reaction to slowfall.
When she lands she'll try to hide. Spending 2 ki to cast pass without trace on herself

"Oh my that sounds like a wonderful idea!" Safeguard replies to Weneon. "I would love to test this hypothesis. Go ahead hop on my shoulders"
If Weneon hops on, Safeguard will proceed down the hallway behind the wolves and his helm will deploy casting Guidance on himself.
He will also be holding one of his lit up pitons in one hand and hand another one to Weneon to hold on to if he desires.
