Travis stands solid like a mountain, using his shield to turn the dragonborn's blow away with a minimum of movement, conserving his energy for the attack. He doesn't hesitate, delivering a backhanded slashing attack, trying to catch the dragonborn before he can re-establish a defensive posture.
Cale grows frustrated listening to the sound of battle below, especially as he hears excited noises from the hostile spectators within the impromptu arena.
"I'm doing no good up here, and this stinks like a bloody trap"
He leaves his hiding place and heads down to the gates where he finds the Prof and Kiari (who really needs a nickname) watching through a little door-within-a-door.
Inglenook is sitting against a wall and not looking. Just listening to the fight, but is easily able to determine the sway of the battle from the reactions of the people around him.
All he wants is to close his eyes and drift into a long sleep but it's very difficult with the adrenaline flowing through his veins, as if he was right there, fighting in place of Travis. He listens to the clashes, followed by the grunts of pain as he stares at Kirari caring and trying to settle the children.
He then shakes himself out of his reverie and stands, a little wobbly but takes his time in loading his crossbow, propping it against his shoulder and making his way to a viewpoint. He decides to find and join Cale. "It sounds as though it's going well Cale, not that I can see much." Knowing that the rogue has heard him approaching. "Do you have an easy way down if things go sour my invisible friend? I have a hammer, piton and rope which we could get ready if it's not going to raise too much suspicion? You know, best laid plans and all?"
The dragonborn gets hit just as he was changing position, and it hits him on an exposed part of his arm on his armor. He was enjoying this at first but then looks at Travis with a grudging respect. "I can see why you are Greenest's champion."

Travis nods at the words of respect from his opponent. "You clearly are a powerful warrior, but I stand against your cause,"he says, just as the dragonborn moves to strike.
Once again with economy of movement, Travis steps to the side, moving a little quicker than one might expect for one his size in heavy armor. He does not hesitate to thrust the point of his sword at a sudden opening caused by the dragonborn's somewhat clumsy attack.

Travis recalls the pep talk Thaddeus gave him and tries to adjust his strike at the last moment, focusing more on subtle, accurate movement than pure power.

Edit: Probably not enough to get a hit, but that makes it 15
“He took a good hit but is giving a good account of himself. His aim is true and his footwork is good. He seems to be winning overall but I don’t trust this Dragonborn.”
”Keep your shield arm up boy and step into his reach! He can’t hit close with that thing!” The professor yells, hoping Travis can hear him through the noise.
"Perhaps," Travis says quietly, keeping his focus on the movement's of his opponent. "Perhaps not."
Thaddeus's last words in his head, he steps slightly forward, closing the distance between himself and the dragonborn, hoping to reduce his effectiveness with a larger blade at closer quarters. Shield up, Travis makes another short, quick slashing attack.
Cale watches the unfolding fight with a grudging respect for the art of Travis's skill. Fights in Cale's experience were quick and dirty affairs, stabbing until your target went down, catching them by surprise if possible so as not to give them a chance to fight back. This was almost like dragon chess, looking for openings to wound the enemy.
He knew it was likely to never be for him, but he could almost enjoy watching it - if the stakes weren't so high.
Ki watches as the Dragonborn moves and returns hits, "It seems nearly an even fight and I'm not seeing any foul play, at least from my side though the there's no obvious winner yet. We'll see when it gets that far. If it goes badly, I can help him if I get to him in time. I'll need your help if it does to make sure my way is clear though. It shouldn't come to that."
She glances over to the Professor, "Your suggestion was wise. Hopefully it will put the larger weapon at a disadvantage. I would think that he'd not engage Travis in front of his men without some confidence that he would come out on top. He chose to fight in front of them instead of a smaller setting, its a big risk. Is his ego really that strong or is there something we're missing? And if Travis defeats him, will his men really release the prisoners and depart? A lot of unknowns."
Cale nods as Kiari mentions preparing to help Travis in case of foul play. He reaches down to check his sword and dagger, but as his hands reach for the hilts he gets a strange sensation and a brief flare of purple light blinks from both palms. He checks his gloves in surprise, sees nothing there and then continues to draw his blades.
"I guess our stake here drops significantly without the brave soldier out there; best be prepared to protect our investment"
The dragonborn looks at Travis obviously impressed by his fighting and taking damage from yet another attack. "I have been sizing you up, but I am ready to show you the might of a true warrior," he snarls.
The dragonborn uses his special multi-attack and attacks twice this round with his greatsword!
The professor leans in and watches the Dragonborn’s attacks. He nods and turns to Kiari. “Yes he is performing well. Weapons that size are more unwieldy and require more space to use effectively. Travis has the measure of him and was able to defend both of those attacks. The Dragonborn must be getting desperate now for him to lash out like that. It cost him and he won’t be able to keep this pace up much longer.”
He turns back to the fight and pulls his book out and begins making notes as he watches. “By my calculations, Travis has the advantage... but it isn’t over yet. Weapons like that... another blow like that first one and Travis could go down for good.”
He shouts to Travis again “Press the attack! Strike before he can recover from those attacks!”
Even as the dragonborn boasts of his prowess, Travis keeps his eyes on his opponent's arms, from shoulder to hands, knowing a sword doesn't go anywhere the arms don't move it. He keeps pressing closer, his shield and sword forcing the dragonborn's big blade into a small field of play. His armor and shield take care of the rest, deflecting two blows in a row.
He seems about to say something in response but opts for silence, hoping his trusty longsword will do his talking. At the professor's urging, he moves fast, making another quick thrust at the foe.
"Its an impressively even fight from what I've seen so far, I think the Dragonborn here has underestimated his opponent." Silently hoping he doesn't get desperate and use any other skills they haven't seen yet. Trying to spot any weakness in the Dragonborn.
Kiari only sees blue scales and even tougher armor, and there are not any discernable weakness she can see. That said, the party would notice from their passive perception that the dragonborn is getting pretty winded now, especially from these multiattacks.
Just as the group may be contemplating this, the dragonborn unleashes another multi-attack after Travis's attack misses wide!
Cale clenches his fists with excitement as Travis deflects the dragonborn's attacks, groans slightly as the human's counterattacks fail to land. It's close for sure, and it hadn't looked it to begin with.
The streetwise loner from Neverwinter realises that the armoured fighter is going to be a useful ally to have around.

"Stand with my cause or not, I will best you," he growls and swings his sword again at Travis.
