Dashing, Thom makes it to right behind the Prince, who shuffles back slightly and Thom bumps into him, loosing his balance and toppling to the webs below, not far from Turvy.
<Thom! Be careful, there's spiders!>, the Prince calls helpfully.
Galingal darts from the tower and leaps over, vanishing into the mist below.
@Galingal
You plunge down into darkness, the spray of the waterfall swirling around you before you plunge into the icy depths of the pool, the sound changing in an instant as you're buffeted about. A bit disoriented, you kick off when your feet hit stone, and you emerge gasping into the air.
You can't hear anything over the sound of water pounding against water, but a strange, burbly voice comes through in your mind, <FLESH FOR THE FACELESS LORD!>
Suushar and Sarith hurry onto the bridge now that it's cleared up a bit.
Stena shifts her bow over a shoulder so she can scoop the remaining short sword and the bag of caltrops before moving towards the south exit as far as she can.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Stena grabs some gear and heads to the exit, but finds the bridge occupied, but holds herself ready to move when it clears.
Jimjar likewise can make no headway on the bridge until it clears of people, so stays put.
Shuushar shuffles quickly past the glowing Lex and Stool, and leaps towards the waterfall.
Athletics: 13
A giant spider scurries down the side of the large stalactite and across the web to Thom, reaching out to touch him with its forelegs, but not striking yet.
Shuushar struggles, his fishy feet not the best for leaping, and he similarly lands in the edge of the web.
The quaggoth's first strike sends ice chips flying, but the second strikes Io solidly, the claws gouging into her flesh and becoming stuck, pale blue blood pouring from the wound in her abdomen before it freezes, moisture from the air condensing and freezing on her body. Most of you are not able to see it as the quaggoth struggles to pull its claw free, as ice crackles and grows up its arm, Io's glacial shriek howling around the pair of them as the quaggoth begins to panic, yanking furiously on its ice encased arm. With a crack, the frozen arm shatters, gobbets of frosty meat strewing the area as the quaggoth tucks the limb against its torso and attempts to flee... but it's too late, its feet are similarly encased, the frost creeping up its body. With a last heave, its calves snap off, and the quaggoth pitches forward down the stairs, dead and frozen before it hits and shatters into hundreds of frozen bits.
When you do have an opportunity to glance back toward the slave pen, you see a pillar of ice blocking the bridge, Io's form still visible frozen within, the whole area covered in frost, the previously killed quaggoth a frozen mound at her feet and the last quaggoth nowhere to be seen, though there is a scattering of meat that seems to be thawing slowly once it's a few dozen feet from her.
Ice rimes the rope bridge, it beginning to sag under the weight, and some of the strands snapping and crackling. It seems there is no retreat that way.
Lia looks around at the rest of the stuff in the armoury. She throws some of the rope down the hatch to Stena. Then she grabs up a hand crossbow and some bolts, bundling them up with the rest of her things, before heading back down the ladder, into the guard room.
She glances back towards Io, encased in ice, and sees the expanding region of frost surrounding her. “Io!!… No!!!…”.
Turning away from the scene, she moves, to just inside the west side of the guard tower, looking out. She takes a deep breath and watches, as some of the others attempt the jump. She holds there for now, and waits for the bridge to clear a little and watches to make sure the others get away okay.
Things are looking a bit dodgy for Thom, who has been joined by a spider.
Sarith leans over the bridge, and fitting a bolt to the crossbow, fires down at the spider. He falls back slightly.
Attack: 24 Damage: 12
Lex, perhaps realizing that she's just taking up space on the bridge, hurries forward and takes the leap as well.
Athletics: 12 Poisoned Disadvantage: Athletics: 6
Stena shuffles forward, passing Sarith on the bridge, Jimjar shuffling forward a bit. Eldeth gets ready to move.

If you attack the spider, you're at disadvantage to hit it.))
((Very cool exit for lo, I am sure Jade will love that!! Hopefully they can come back to the game sometime.))
I agree, Thom is in a bad spot here! He would not have seen what lo has done, although he might've seen that bolt that Sarith shot and doesn't say anything in the moment as he's too scared he's going to die.
@Spider, if Thom succeeds with the STR check, does he automatically then fall down and would the spider get the attack of opportunity? How much further does he have to fall?
((If you succeed on the STR check, you're no longer restrained, and would be able to use your movement to make it to the edge of the silk. no Athletics or Acrobatic needed. The spider would be able to take an opportunity attack. Estimates range around an 80-120 ft drop from the silk to the level of the cavern below.))

Alright, Thom decides in this moment that he needs to deal with this spider before he tries to escape and jump off the edge of the silk.
He figures the thing would get at least a few bite attempts in if he tries to get free and scoot away, and there's no way Thom wants to feel what it's like to get bit by these things.
Right or wrong, it's what he's going with.
He first shouts out to whoever shot the spider in the eye. I don't think he'd know who did it, but regardless he yells at the top of his lungs "SHOOT IT AGAIN! SHOOT IT AGAIN, YEAH?!"
And he takes a shot of his own at the spider, trying to get the best shot possible given being stuck in the webbing and being so close to the spider.
After Galingal surfaces in the pool of water at the base of the waterfall and hears the voice in his head he pivots quickly around in the water looking for the source of the voice, and looking for shore.
He pushes hard in the direction of the shore, keeping careful watch for whatever might have been behind the voice.
"I have had enough of gods demanding my flesh," Galingal says in elvish. "Yours can frak off."
Movement: Swim to shore
Action: Perception 8
(Guess he's relying on passive perception to not get eaten on his first round away from the prison)
Galingal stops swimming when he sees the water rise up and extend some sort of appendage in his direction. With his equipment still not completely secured and whatever creature ahead likely having the advantage in the water, Galingal decides he needs to call on all the power available to him and deal with this pseudo-pod quickly.
He closes his eyes for a brief moment, reaches one hand for the amulet at his neck, realizing immediately that it's still not there, and while still treading water, flings one hand forward at the creature.
"șurub de ghidare", Galingal shouts.
A flash of light leaps from his hand and races towards the shape ahead.
Stena moves down the bridge two blocks worth and sighs at Dead Eye Thom's predicament. She looks back at who's left before trying to arrange all the equipment she has so she can take a shot at the spider.
Attack: 10 Damage: 8
If she is in the right spot and still has movement enough she'll tuck everything someplace secure and hop over the side.
Glancing around, you don't see him or Topsy, though you'd probably clocked that both of them went over the bridge into the pool.
The oozy creature dives below the surface, but you're able to track it with the glow from your spell still outlining it. You've a clear path to gain shore, provided no more pop out at you.
