The world swirls around Stena as she passes out, her crossbow going off and twanging a bolt past Thom and his spider, as she goes limp.
((1d20: 1-5 she topples off the bridge to the left, 6-15 she goes unconscious on the bridge, 16-20 she topples off to her right.))

Luckily (perhaps), she drops where she stands, rather than going over the bridge to either side.
She's not unconcious for long, however, as Jimjar was on her heels and he shakes her back awake. "I'd have lost the bet if I was putting coin on the first one to fall asleep on the job trying to break out! Rise and shine! We gotta go!"
Shuushar gives a heave, trying to break free of the webbing, but failing.
STR: 11
The giant spider bites at Thom, the fangs sinking in and the venom coursing through him as he fades and goes limp.
Lia grabs a dagger from the guard room and buckles it around her waist. She then moves up to the west door, behind Sarith, to assess the situation out on the bridge. She sees a number of people struggling in the web, then she spots Thom, not moving, with a spider looming over him.
In a soft voice, she says simply, “Leave him alone!…”. The words are not loud, but they seem to pitch both an octave higher and lower at the same time, and a shockwave of pure, magical bass emanates from Lia, and hurtles towards the spider…
((Cast a spell action (vicious mockery): WIS save (DC13) or take 4 (psychic damage) and have disadvantage on next attack)).
She ducks back inside the guard tower, back to where she started, to give Eldeth space to get in and shoot if she can. “This is not good… Do you have a weapon?”, she asks the dwarf.

Spider Wis: 8
The spider pays no mind to Lia, intent on its prey.
Sarith leans out and puts another bolt in it.
Attack: 6 Damage: 7
Lex struggles upright as much as she can, and awkwardly hurls a fist full of fire at the spider as it looms over Thom's form.
Attack: 10 Damage: 3
The fire spatters off the stalactite, tendrils of fire burning away some of the web festooning its surface, but not enough to catch fire to the webbing. The spider seems a bit wary about the fire zipping past its head, however.
"I've got a warhammer, but I'm in no shape to tangle with a spider...", Eldeth pants as she leans against the wall, blood seeping down her side where she was slashed by quaggoth claws.
The two drow try slashing at the Prince again, and the elite drow turns their fire down on the quaggoth as well. If they can drop Derendil, they'll have full access to the bridge and the escaped slaves on it.
He's certainly taking heavy damage, and his roars are no less angry, but somewhat less energetic.
Turvy struggles to break free of the webbing, the strands snapping as he rolls off the edge and plunges down into darkness.
STR: 11
The buzzing and shrieking that has been building reaches a crescendo as a series of winged forms zip past the stalactites from the north, two large vulture like forms followed closely by the droning buzz of four large insectoid creatures. Many of them are injured from their past aerial battle, and for the moment, they don't seem to take notice of you or the drow, dipping and flying around the stalactites, taking opportunities to slash and stab at each other.
The trio of drow look up in alarm, and you hear the sound of horns as other parts of the outpost take notice. The Prince tries to make the most of the drow's being distracted, while he is singularly fixated on holding the bridge as long as possible.
Attack: 25 Damage: 13 Attack: 14 Damage: 6
The drow are not as distracted as they seemed, the drow in front of him managing to evade his attacks.
@Galingal
A streaking form hurtles out of the darkness, plunging into the water, and you see Turvy surface, and see the glowing ooze respond to his entry into the pool and begin moving in his direction.
Turvy falling down into the pool reminds Galingal that he needs to get out of the water before someone heavier lands on his head. But the still glowing ooze being distracted by Turvy is his best chance to deal with it and then get to shore safely.
He motions one hand towards it and calls out in a somber tone "Numărați morții."
The sound of a distant bell rings out.
And then Galingal swims to shore and pulls himself out.
Action: Cast Toll the Dead DC14 Wisdom save or the ooze takes 6 (am assuming the Guiding Bolt did some damage).
The water vibrates around Galingal as the bell tolls underwater, and as the glow fades, a gray oozy gooey form floats to the surface, inert and unmoving other than the current which slowly carries it off as you make your way to shore.
If you were to look up, you'd see a faint glow of Lex and Stool far above you in through the mist of the falls. You don't currently hear anything over the pound of water.
Turvy speaks into your head. <Grumble rabble rabble, Topsy!?>
((Stena, you're prone and poisoned, but you're awake thanks to Jimjar shaking you.))
Stena staggers to her feet, takes a shot at Thom's spider, stumbles forward and topples over the edge of the bridge to land in the webbing where Turvy just pulled free.
Jimjar makes his way forward and fires at the spider as well, the bolt punching through one of the chelicera and pinning it to its carapace. Clear viscous fluid drips on Thom's unconscious form, the spider's legs convulsing. It seems very unwell, and twitches and shifts around in response to the buzzing of the large creatures flying about above the webbing.
Attack: 24 Damage: 8
Eldeth takes advantage of the bridge clearing out a bit to move ahead of Sarith.
Shuushar tries to break free again, succeeding this time and leaping into the mist.
STR: 15
Galingal, you see a kuo-toa dive into the water, and Shuushar's head pop up.
<Huge flying things there are! Just showed up and are buzzing around!>, he burbles at you.
The giant spider on Thom scuttles and limps away, moving around the backside of the stalactite.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing all this, and the spider limping away, Lia takes her chance…
She dashes out of the guard tower with her things. She weaves her way between the cell-mates still on the bridge, like a ballet dancer, then dives over the edge, but not down into the waterfall, the other way: aiming to land on the webbing, as close to the stricken Thom as she can!…
Lia has to go all out to make her way quickly across the bridge, but manages to hurl herself over the side and land face down next to Thom, thoroughly ensnared, but within reach of him.
Sarith loads another bolt and holds it ready, eyeing the aerial combatants warily.
Lex conjures more flame and hurls it at the web around her, but isn't able to focus on conjuring her magic with the poison coursing through her, and it sputters out before it can burn any of the web away.
Attack: 6 Damage: 4
Eldeth pushes past Jimjar to attempt to get over the rail, which she does, but only to land in the edge of the silk beside Stena.
Acrobatics: 11
The drow elite barks an order in elvish.
"Fall back, barricade in the main hall or the barracks, raise the alarm, I'll inform the Mistress."
He ducks into the large stalactite, shutting the door behind him, as the pair of drow fall back warily from PrinceDerendil.
Galingal, down below Turvy swims to you, grabbing ahold of you and shaking vigorously as he repeats his sister's name. He's either unaware or unappreciative of you possibly saving his life by killing the [creature]gray ooze[/creature] before it could reach him. "Topsy, Topsy Topsy, Topsy!"
With the drow falling back before him, the Prince gives a furious howl and bounds after them, his claws scraping across armor, but failing to find flesh as he snarls in frustration.
The creatures continue flying in and out of the stalactites, and there are the sounds of horns to the south as the outpost stirs into action.
Stena slashes at the webbing, a few of the strands parting, but it still holds her tight.
Jimjar sees what she's attempting, and hops down into the web beside her and Eldeth, getting snared himself, but applying his shortsword to the webbing.
Attack: 16 Damage: 8
More of the silk parts, and the section occupied by Stena, and Jimjar, and to a lesser extent Eldeth, Lex, and Stool , lurches downwards half a foot.
((Lia took the dagger from the guard room, but also doesn’t have the rope. She threw that down for Stena and we both thought Sarith (I think) might grab it. Either way, she doesn’t have the rope, but does have the dagger)).

She closes her eyes and silently beseeches her guide from beyond the stars. She tries to channel whatever embryonic shard of celestial essence she has within her, and healing-energy flows from her, through her hands, into Thom((‘Healing Hands’, racial trait: heals Thom for 1hp!)).
If that works, he would be looking up into her face, covered in grime, looking a mess. But that’s all kind of obscured by the light coming from the glowing moss, imbued with the light spell, which she weaved into her braid, at the top of her head. It casts her face into deep shadow, and creates a kind of corona of light, like a halo around her head, as she cradles him in her arms and brings him back to life.
Galingal helps Turvy out of of the water and looks around for any sign of Topsy, while also keeping an eye out for any signs of more of the gray creatures or any other threats down here.
<I have not seen your sibling,> Galingal thinks to Turvy.
At the same time he starts pulling on the last of the leather armor, thinking about ways to escape from this cavern.
He nods at Shuushar as the Kuo-toa comes out of the water.

Galingal, Turvy looks very worried, but appreciative (as much as he ever shows it) for the hand out of the water.

While they have him on a narrow ledge, one of the drow the Prince was chasing takes a defensive stance while the injured one disengages and slips past, headed for help.

Thom opens his eyes and initially doesn't see for a split second as he blinks a few times and tries to get his bearings... and then he sees at first what he thinks is some type of elven angel looking down at him. He now realizes as well that she's holding his head.
Thom mumbles "Muh... Mom??"
Then he realizes it's not an elven angel. Or his Mom. It's Lia.
Thom mumbles "....La?"
Then sits up a bit and says "LIA! You saved me, yeah? Where's the spider?? Wait what about..."and then he stops and starts to remember what happened. The horror.
He shakes the thought of the spider out of his mind and finishes getting his bearings in this moment.
Second wind: 8
He says "Lia, Sarith, let's go yeah!? Lia, you go first, I owe you the cover yeah?"
@Spider if you will approve more speech, Thom would also yell to Lia and Sarith "Cut a hole! I'll cover ya's once I get out of this web!"
Also he'd think to the Prince, almost forgetting about him but remembering him at the last moment <PRINCE YOUR HIGHNESS! COME BACK! IT'S TIME TO JUMP! I NEED YOU!>
Thom STR to escape webbing: (would you accept DEX to wriggle?! If so, +2, if not, +1. I will just roll the d20.) 7
Galingal looks up the waterfall as more of the escaped slaves fall into the pool.
<What is taking everyone so long?> Galingal thinks Lex and Stool. <The drow will come down looking for us.>
He then finishes putting on the studded leather armor and while Turvy looks for his sister, Galingal looks for tunnels or any other way out of the chamber.
I think the two rounds Galingal spent down next to the pool putting on armor finally gets him fully into it now. Though its soaking wet and I'm sure he'll be looking to take it off to dry out soon but that can wait.

<They are stuck in the web, the Prince is chasing drow, and there's a bunch of... what Sarith called demons that seem to be occupying the drow's attention right now.>, Lex tells Galingal.
((Because I don't want to rule where Thom's speaking cuts off, I'm going to say that most of that was thought through the link, so is able to go more quickly.))
Thom broadcasts a bunch of thoughts at almost everyone, which it's good that he can, as he manages to roll and faceplant into the web, getting a mouthful of the sticky stuff. Prince Derendil sends and angry, confused thought through the link. <Grrraaaa, raargaaa... ahh.. Ah, T-thom? I... I'm coming!>
Stena flails at the webbing, and Jimjar again joins her in hacking at it.

While they have him on a narrow ledge, one of the drow the Prince was chasing takes a defensive stance while the injured one disengages and slips past, headed for help.
His injured prey getting away, Derendil snarls, swiping at his foe with hefty quaggoth claws.
Attack: 8 Damage: 6
Attack: 17 Damage: 4
The drow's chain shirt protects him from the quaggoth's fury.

Wait what about..." and then he stops and starts to remember what happened.
Stena watches Eldeth fall up and then down. She blinks and hacks at the webbing, it is also just so spinny.
Attack: 9 Damage: 2
Attack: 16 Damage: 6
The last few supporting strands spring loose and Jimjar and Stena drop out of sight of Thom, Sarith and Lia, and come into view for those down below as dark forms hurtle through mist and spray to splash into the water below.
Stena, you spot Galingal and Shuushar on the bank, Lex is swimming in his direction with Stool. The deep gnome twins and the derro aren't to be seen at the moment.
