((So, we're going through the doors in order if you were following along the outside right wall? The first door being the one directly to the left of the padlocked door. And yeah, that's a window directly across from the top of the stairs.))
To anyone who looks inside the previously locked room;
This room contains a bricked-up window flanked by two dusty, wood-framed beds sized for children. Closer to the door is a toy chest with windmills painted on its sides and a dollhouse that’s a perfect replica of the dreary edifice in which you stand. These furnishings are draped in cobwebs. Lying in the middle of the floor are two small skeletons wearing tattered but familiar clothing. The smaller of the two cradles a stuffed doll that you also recognize. The clothing on the small skeletons appear to be similar to that of the children you met outside. The doll also appears to be the same one that the smaller boy was holding that you met outside.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Janek moves to take a closer look at the dollhouse. He goes over it closely, trying to see anything they might have missed. (Like a hidden room or such.)
Vorser heads into the room behind Janek looking at the skeletons first. “So … we know the fate of the children now. Best we can do for them is release their spirits and let them enjoy peace.” He then heads over to the toy box and opens it up taking a look inside.
Ignatia stares at the tiny bodies, then flicks her eyes to the door then back to them. Her entire body is vibrating, tiny sulphurous flames lick up at the corner of her eyes and wisps of smoke drift up from her hair....she is incandescent with rage, her fists so tight her nails are cutting into her palms...
As Janek and Vorser begin to dig through the dollhouse and toy chest, 2 ghosts manifest above the tiny skeletons. As you look over to them, you see that they resemble the two kids you met outside, however, the image of their ghosts seem to be going through some sort of decay. ((Aka, patches of skin missing, etc.))
The ghost of the little girl screeches out. "Leave our stuff alone!"
To those looking at the doll house;
You notice that the dollhouse appears to be an exact replica of the house you are currently in, the dollhouse seems to even include the secret doorway in the library that you found. ((Everyone except Janek; If you want to investigate the dollhouse further, roll perception or investigation))
To those going through the toy chest;
The toy chest contains an assortment of stuffed animals and toys, there doesn't seem to be anything further in the toy chest.
Vorser turns to see Ignatia look as though she is about to burst into flames and takes a step back "Ignatia, are you okay? You seem to be ... " The ghosts appear cutting him off, he drops the stuffed animal he was holding. "Be calm spirit we mean you no harm here, can you tell us what happened?"
The girl's ghost floats forward a foot and begins to tell you what has happened. "Our parents... They locked us up in our room to protect us from the monsters in the basement, but they never came back." She begins to cry, loudly. "They never came back and we starved!"
As you look more thoroughly at the dollhouse, you notice a secret door that you haven't found. You see the secret door is in the attic, in another room that leads to a spiral staircase.
Vorser looks closely at the dollshouse focusing on the rooms the group had previously been to first and not finding anything that would stand out. Turning his attention to the attic he carefully inspects all the rooms until he spots what appears to be another staircase. "Look here." he points with his armoured finger towards the stairwell. "Perhaps this is the way down to the basement, would that be right child?"
Durant would see this scene and despair would fall across him. Listening to the their plight and watching Vorser look at the dollhouse. "I'm sorry that this happened to you children, we hope to be able to release you soon enough. Maybe our friend here has found the way, is he right?"
The ghost of the little boy bobs his head up and down, indicating that he's correct. Then the ghost of the little boy speaks. "Don't leave us please. We've been alone for so long."

((Yeah, I think that's the one we are going for, unless our rogue wants to pick the lock I guess))
"I can try myself at that padlock... Let's hope I can deal with this one..."
Elysis gets her tools out of her belt, trying herself at the door. (Dexterity Check + Proficiency with Thieves' Tools: 17)
Everyone;
After some fiddling with the lock, a loud click can be heard as the padlock unlocks. The door is now unlocked and can be entered if you so choose.

Janek will go ahead and open the door once it is unlocked. He peers inside. ((Perception: 16))

From outside the room, Elysis is looking at the ghost.
"Can you tell us how to get to the basement, if it is not too much to ask for...?"
Everyone;
The ghost says nothing, and instead just points to the dollhouse.
