3 humans wearing leather armor and a half-orc come in to the room. You can see 2 humans hanging back behind this lead group. As they come in, the half-orc says "We are the Bringers of Woe. We have come to reward your curiosity." You can see the mark of the symbol from the mask and the corpses on the front of their armor.
2 of the humans pull out crossbows and scan for threats.
The other 3 pull out scimitars, and approach Shrek cautiously, and are surprised when he jumps up with a readied attack, equally surprised by the assailants who charge in from beside the doorway. (The group gets a surprise round).
Fr'reona casts Magic Missile and aims all 3 darts at one of the humans:

The bandit collapses under the power of the missiles, and drops to the ground dead.
Seeing a 'kindred spirit' in the half orc, Shrek immediately hops toward the half orc and snarls a nasty growl (kind of like he's horking up a giant wad of snot to hurl at the approaching beast).
Olaerys steps from behind the door and leans into one of the human bandits with his battle axe. "Peekaboo!" he says and swings away. He is attacking him from the back, with surprise.
Battle Axe : Attack: 19 Damage: 10

Shrek spryly shrugs the slothingly stupid attack from the sprightly smarmy human...swageringly. Yeah. That's the ticket.
Stinky sweat is starting to fly off his raging body, the stupendous odor suffusely invading your nostrils and senses. And some other adjectives that start with the letter s that I can't think of right now.
