Pushing himself back to his feet, Yulmiath knows he needs to reconfigure his approach. If cutting and slashing aren't putting a mark on this thing's hide, crushing and smashing might.
Stowing his greataxe and not wanting to get caught by the Xorn again, Yulmiath backs off the combat until he can collect himself and re-enter the fray.

(@MB: For the sake of moving forward, I'll go ahead and assume the "back-off" bit was flavor for the dodge action and that Yulmiath is not moving this turn. Please read the OOC Chat message and let me know if you did intend to take your movement this turn.)
Taking a couple of seconds to stand back up, Yulmiath notices the fight is not over yet. Changing strategies, the dragonborn decides to focus on defense while he readjust to the concept of being conscious.
No longer cornered due to taking a ride on the Mr. Thicc-express, the Xorn attacks in desperation even from its prone condition.
Mr. Thicc maintains control of the situation while the Xorn trashes about, or at least for portion of it. At some point, a claw swipe manages to open another gash in the construct's metal plating. This distracts Mr. Thicc enough for him to loosen his grip on the Xorn, which ultimately results in a second strike. This one would have hit some critical internal component, but Kairus send one last bit of distracting encouragement to the automaton, spurring it to move one inch to the left (Cutting Words, reference). (Mr. Thicc takes 14 slashing damage.)
More than capable of deducing where the metal-man's orders were coming from, the Xorn glares at Hun. Nonetheless, it takes some time getting back up and decides to engage with the nearest foe instead, that is, Kairus.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it ain't broke yet, maybe you're using the wrong weapon.
Yulmiath pulls the wooden warhammer from his pack and newly armed, re-adjusts his old battle technique of:

2. Apply greataxe warhammer

4. Profit
Duly armed with a fresh plan and a fresh weapon, he jumps straight to point 2 and approaches the Xorn aiming to deliver a two-handed strike to its abdomen.
"Here goes nothing." Hun mutters as he steps another five feet towards the north while slinging another vial at the Xorn. And if it yet remained alive after that, then he turns to give Mr. Thicc a grim look and a sharp nod. "Mr. Thicc it's been pleasure. As your hopefully not final duty, I ask that you move that darn three legged menace to LR-82, activate Self-Repairs, and... cast that bloody necklace I gave you into this room."
The construct looks over to Hun, gives a curt nod, and executes Hun's commands to the best of its abilities.

Kairus follows that up with a melee attack of his own, though the dagger does not sink as deep as he was hoping. (Xorn takes 2 piercing damage.)
Rhogal jumps in that action too, but not before recharging his staff. (Xorn takes 6 magical bludgeoning damage.)
Hun tries to pitch in as well but his vial explodes inexplicably mid-arc. The kobold is not done however. He orders Mr. Thicc to drag the enemy to the gore-filled area, repair himself, and then cast his Umberlee amulet away. (Mr. Thicc recovers 9 HP.)
Mr. Thicc brings a sharp open palm to the edge of his forehead, saluting his creator, master, teacher, and friend.
Loud mechanisms of gears and springs are released from behind the stone walls. Two massive stone stone blocks rush forward with unforgiving speed. (Xorn takes 50 bludgeoning damage and is DEFEATED; Mr. Thicc takes 50 bludgeoning damage and is PERMANENTLY DISMANTLED.)

-For further flavor: Hun's Strength Save: 3. (18)
Though still very much left clutching the side of his head and reeling from the noise, Hun at least manages to keep from being blown off his feet from the rush of air escaping the trap. Still the ground found his knees all the same, for so excruciating a pain that came with practically being next to ground zero, the kobold could scarce to stay standing until or act until the ringing came to an end.
If nothing should attack him during this minute, then is only after that he reopens eyes he hadn't realized been squeezed shut as well, and looked upon the sprung trap. "... Well... Could've been worse."He muttered while briefly lifting up his goggles to wipe at his face before anyone could see beneath them. "Could've been better though."He added in a more bitter before spitting at the ground off to the side. "Is... everyone else alright?"He called without looking away from the covered doorway. "If so, then once the trap resets, uhm... we, uh... somebody should try to seal that other doorway 'n.... make sure no more Xorns come in through there." He sniffled.
Yulmiath watches Mr. Thicc undertake what are to be his final instructions. Knowing that the salute isn't for him, Yulmiath returns a wave nonetheless. The automation has been a stalwart companion and though he wasn't much for conversation, he more than carried his own weight and helped keep them safe. A fine crewmate if ever there was one.
As the rocks crash together, Yulmiath throws his hands to the sides of his head and pulls himself into a crouch. As he keep still and his head bowed, he lets a single tear roll down his face and drop onto his shirt.
As the ringing subsides, Yulmaith stands and looks around the room. "Not a bad discovery and better than we found. Should we start shifting this through the building, out to Deadly Treasure?"
Kairus saluted back to Mr. Thicc but immediately had to cover his sensitive ears. "He was a true hero!" Declared Kairus once the dust settled. Then repeated the phrase, realizing he could not hear his own words and looked at others in panic. "I can not hear anything!!!"He yelled that again (with the same result), then tried to take a few random chords from the cittern, began to pluck strings randomly, and only sudden return of the hearing prevented the walls around crashing from growing soundwaves of pure musical chaos.
"Phew!" The sound was horrifying (though Kairus thought he got a couple of new augmented chords he could use later) but it was heaven's music compared to the deafening silence and soon died out anyway. "For a minute I thought I lost my hearing."
He finally looked around, came closer to a pile of coins, scooped up some and let them slip back. "Guess we did found the treasure after all. Even defeated the monster guarding it. Don't you want to check what's in the chests first?" He went to the closest chest and looked it over without immediate touching. "I'll fly back and check the wall from the other side later. Do you think those chests are trapped, Grandpa?"
Hun groaned and pulled at his face. "..If they aren't the trap themselves, or if more bloody undead aren't lurking inside them, then yes. So noone touch them or the gold, 'cause we're in no condition to deal with another fight if it comes to it as far as I'm concerned." He state bitterly. "So for now, just... just don't. It ain't go anywhere fast, and we can take the freak'n rest of the day to just... chill and the night to recoup our strength."Hun then got to his feet, and after hopefully a short-lived search, retrieved the necklace to grudgingly put on during an approach to the crushing mechanism. Just to see, assuming the shifting bits hadn't already reset by then, to see if it would do so faster in closer proximity with it.
IF, however, the necklace had appeared to fall too close to any of the chest, the kobold grimaces, sighs, and then ultimately abandons an attempt to grab it in favor of finding a pillar to sit against and idly start tapping the back of his head.
