As the webbing snaps, Zithers scrambles over to the ledge to try and help, but quickly breathes a sigh of relief when he sees the firbolg misty step his way to safety and Zithers once more tries to recollect what little composure he had. He collects his gear, mourns the loss of the "giant" 90 pound silver worth 4,225 sp, and is ready to keep pressing forward. (that glowing ledge was interesting though... did Zithers notice it with a passive perception of 11 when he looked over the ledge? otherwise he keeps walking)
(Zensiro will be happy to take his 23, save his Misty Step and cross the chasm before the webbing snapped, thanks. Besides, it's more narratively dramatic if the last crossing is the one that goes wrong. ;-)
Zensiro exclaims excitedly once Dyumi rematerializes, "Excellent save, Dyumi! Glad we all made it over. I guess we'll either have to find an alternative route out of here or some other means of crossing that chasm. Did anyone else notice that ledge down there? I think it was about 20 feet down, there was a soft light. We might be able to rig a rope to rappel down to it if you think it's worth investigating. Hard to imagine what might be glowing down here."

Zensiro volunteers to explore the ledge and presumptive cave. "Despite my injuries, I'll take a chance and make the descent. This has piqued my curiosity and Dyumi might appreciate the company! I still have my teleportation available in case I stumble or need to make a hasty retreat." He'll wait for Dyumi to descend, rig up a harness from some of his own rope, then attempt a controlled descent. As before, Zensiro calls to mind the quick incantation for Misty Step and proceeds with caution, being as observant as one is able to during such an activity.
"Oh I definitely want to see what's down there" Malichi tells everyone, obviously excited but before heading down he turns to Cerlinde "I want to thank you for the assist earlier with that horrid creature. I doubt I could have killed it before getting bit again, something I wholeheartedly recommend avoiding. Thank you
"Well, I am certainly more adept at investigation than fighting the nasty web-slingers up here, but I wouldn't want to leave Cerlinde on her own, so I shall stay above while you investigate the caves. Just bring me a souvenir, will you? I'd love to see whatever crystal is glowing down there, unless its glow worms... You know, the mention of glow worms makes me feel great about avoiding that cave after all." He leans against the least webby spot on the wall he can find and studies the glowing red shardwhile he waits, muttering about "slimy, nasty, luminous slugs down there"

What I meant was that as long as there's someone up here I'll stay too to keep company and such; strength in numbers and all that in case some of the creepier crawlies in this "cavern" sensed us. Plus, I did want a chance to study this strange red shard more. It may just be my patron but I can't get the idea of fire magicks in this crystal out of my head.

Those who descend are able to do so easily with the aid of the rope. The ledge is approximately 5 feet wide and juts out 5 feet from the wall, so only one person at a time may stand there. A person on the ledge notices a narrow opening into the rock wall, with a diffuse glow spilling forth. The source is not readily apparent.
Assuming you enter the crevice, you move forward approximately 20 feet and it opens up into a domed chamber approximately 30 feet high and 30 feet in diameter. The only other obvious exit is an upward shaft at the apex of the dome. Standing beneath the shaft you can see daylight far above.
Opposite the chamber from where you entered, there is a 5-foot copper disc lying on the floor. It is similar in size to the silver coin you found earlier, but the image imprinted on it is that of a familiar gnome, and the disc is emitting a glowing light. There is also an 8-foot long bronze key. Unfortunately, directly above these items, hangs from the ceiling what appears to be a large wasps' nest.
Those who remain topside do not notice any unusual activity... so far. Zithers is able to study the red shard and determine that it is a fragment of crystal originating from the Elemental plane of Fire. It could easily be fashioned into a dark shard amulet during his next short or long rest.
Zensiro has a bit of a rough trip, but manages to shimmy down safely to the small ledge. He makes sure that the hood of his cloak is properly concealing him and then motions for Dyumi to remain on the ledge while he ventures ahead cautiously to scout their new locale. Returning after a moment, Zensiro quietly relates the description of the domed chamber, the glowing gnome coin, key, and wasp nest. "I believe the coin's glow is the result of a simple enchantment, which I imagine you could confirm. The key could be of some value in our exploration, but at eight feet in length it will be difficult to transport. We will, of course, have to navigate that wasp situation first. I'm not sure that simple sneaking will be sufficient to swipe the key from under their antennae without putting ourselves in serious danger. I am not interested in being poisoned again!"
(Dyumi is a firbolg, so he has Speech of Beast and Leaf. Would he be able to tell the wasps that the party means no harm?
"You can communicate with (though not understand) beasts and plants and have advantage on CHA checks to influence them".)
As he plots with Zensiro, Dyumi will also ritual cast Detect Magic on the room.
"Zen, I think the glow might just be sunlight, but I'm checking anyway. Someone should sneak in and try to drag the key out quietly, then have those at the top hoist it out with my rope. Also, I might be able to talk our way out of trouble if we do get caught."

Zensiro initially appears skeptical, but he knows better than to doubt the ability of druids to coax miraculous behaviours from both flora and fauna. "If you think those wasps can be reasoned with, that would be a much straighter path to walk than attempting to fight them. But by the gods, be careful! I can't imagine how many torches we'd have to burn to smoke out a whole nest. Do you suppose you can persuade them to allow me to drag it off, or should I hold back and just let you handle it?"Zensiro will unsling and string his bow, then ready his quiver of arrows in case things go south.

"I knew this would pay off!" Zithers holds up the red crystal. "This little thing will be a very useful tool to my powers once made; I could do so much more once I get the time to craft this into something useable!"

The coin and the key both register as magical.
Wasps have an INT of 1 and no languages, so I believe that you are unsuccessful.
