The dire wolves snarl and leap to obey, bounding towards the Krampus.

((Even though their init roll is before Xal's they can still go. Do you want to roll for them? First one would be able to reach him and ready action to bite when second one gets there, so they get pack tactics advantage on both.))

The two dire wolves briefly circle the Krampus before they dart in, almost in unison, their large jaws trying to lock around the Krampus.

2 x DC 13 Str save or be knocked prone.

The first bite sinks into the Krampus's leg, you can see the cold breath steaming around the wolve's clenched jaws as the other one snaps and misses.

The Krampus, newly summoned, is caught completely off guard by more prepared creatures to be summoned into existence and sent on the attack! The wolf yanks on the leg, and Krampus' hoof hits a bit of frozen blood and he goes toppling to the ground in a clatter of chains, a bleating howl giving voice to his displeasure!

The Warlock looks on dumbfounded as the demon he summoned forth is tripped up by an oversized dog.

"Oh man!  That is NOT what I wanted to run into!" 

Using her kensei bonus action, she adds a d4 to her damage and keeps back from the demon.  She draws on her long bow and looses two arrows..

Ursula's first arrow misses the Krampus, skipping off stone and shooting wide.

((He's prone, so attacks from other than 5ft from him have disadvantage, so calling those two rolls the first attack. You can roll again at disadvantage to try to hit the Krampus, or there is also the warlock.))

Nimble recoils as the Krampus emerges from the summoning circle.  Since no one else claimed it, he takes a moment to secure the wrap of radiance around the hilt of his rapier and creeps 15 feet closer to the Krampus while trying to remain hidden in the darkness.

((The darkness has been dispersed by the glow of the summoning circle. There are pillars around the perimeter, but you'd have to move farther from the Krampus to get behind one. You could potentially hid behind the Winter Father, but otherwise there isn't much in the way of cover in the center of the room.))

Ursula sends two arrows at the warlock, the first one striking him, and the second shattering against stone.

When the Krampus emerges from the shadows, Elafir finally snaps out of the mental paralysis that crept on him during their ascend of the tower and rendered him silent. This journey has been too much for him. It's been years since he had to actually use a weapon instead of smithing them. All the bloodshed of once innocent creatures was taking it's toll on him.

But now the group - his friends? - needed him and this beat threatened their safety. He would not watch them die while he pitied himself! 

Initiative: 13

Elafir positions himself in front of the Krampus to guard his friends. He swings his glaive twice at the massive beast while it's lying on the ground.

First Attack: 15 Damage: 13

Second Attack: 20 Damage: 13

Elafir carves twice into the foul creature, which howls in pain. Close to the Krampus, Elafir can feel the cold invading his lungs with every breath.

Laala unleashes a pair of crackling blasts at the warlock!

Dimble scurries forward and jabs at the Krampus.

Attack: 16 Damage: 17

One of Laala's blasts hits the Warlock and he hisses in anger as it staggers him back, but he shouts encouragement to the Krampus that somehow manages to avoid Dimble stabbing it, batting his blade away at the last moment.

The Krampus breathes deeply, frigid cold rolling off him in waves, washing over Dimble and the wolves. Elafir is slightly warmer with the reach of his weapon.

The Krampus scrambles to its hooved feet, laying about himself in a fury, slashing his switches at two wolves...

Attack: 20 Damage: 12
Attack: 17 Damage: 13

...and slashing at Dimble with his claws.

Attack: 19 Damage: 14

The Warlock yells a plea to the snarling Krampus, and runs behind the throne. 

 The wolves take 6 cold damage from their proximity to the Krampus.

The Krampus connects with both swings of his switches, the wolves yelping as he hits, before spinning and gouging Dimble with his claws.
