Your right. For Yanyi! Well we make 2 U think we need a few more. A tank or someone who can soak up a few hits. I think we also need someone who knows about magic stuff. My spells are nature based not much help in figuring out a magic clock tower. Maybe one of them wizard or warlock types. There was this one woman Miss Dartz... wonder if she is still around
How about you my new friend. And not to sound rude but who and what are you. Are you an Orc? I've only seen a few and they have always tried to kill me. You seem less prone to wanting to murder me at the moment it's kinda weird... sorry that came off wrong.
The door opened, and a tall Blue Dragonborn, clad in chainmail and heavily armed, entered. He walked to the bar, his eyes flitting back and forth as he surveyed the characters in the room. “Ale.” He only spoke one word, but the thick Scottish brogue was obvious, as was the fact that he was an experienced warrior-judging from the way he carried himself, and the way he watched the room. He waited as the bartender poured him his drink, then set a coin down on the bar, picked the drink up, and moved to a corner of the room, sitting where he could watch everyone inside.

If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
To the halfling Hadrian said, "I can take some hits, sure. front line type. Been in the guards for a while. If you have space for me, I would like to help you."
He then proceeded to down an entire tankard of ale before answering again.
"Half, master halfling. Half-orc, unfortunately quite hated by a lot and for what reason, I have no idea. we are mostly civil. My mother, called me Hadrian after a knight she once pursued. Made my orc dad roll his eyes."
Hadrian then noticed the dragonborn. "Master dragon seems to be of the martial kind as well, what brings a warrior of your stature to these parts?"
Jetsam looked at the half-orc, his expression inscrutable as Dragonborn expressions often are. He swallowed a mouthful of ale, and replied “Need work.”

"Well, master halfling, it seems you have a choice of warriors."
"You may take my stoic friend, master dragon, here. Or Myself. As far as us martial kinds go, you cannot go wrong with either I am quite sure. Or..."He then give the halfling a fairly obvious grin.
"You can take us both and we will see if a wizard will come by for you."
Muriel looks to Tommy and said, "Well, waiting for a wizard wouldn't hurt. And these two could probably make great warriors that could be of great use in combat. I say we accept these two and try and find a magic based warrior."
Tommy nods as he slips his book away not wanting to get eaten b6 the dragon that just walked in.
Yes the more warriors we have the faster we take down any threats. Ok this is good even if a someone with Arcane knowledge does not happen by I think we can figure it out. Before we leave we still need some knowledge and supplies. I'm guessing this is going to be a 3 to 5 day trip and we don't have a real healer so if you can afford it pick up a potion of healing or 2. I cam heal but my magics is limited. I do have a few potions to spare.
Let's take tomorrow to get supplies and talk to a few of the merchants to see what they have herd of this tower. Meet up here tomorrow night to come up with a game plan and push out the following morning.
What you think?
OOC: give another day IRL to see if anyone else wants to join. Or we can press tonight if yall want
Jetsam considered the proposition for a moment and decided to accept. “Aye. What’s the job? I’m Jetsam, be the way.” He extended a hand to shake with either or both of them.
Muriel then turns to the dragon born and asks, "Before we actually get on this adventure, how about a friendly sparring match? I would like to see how good my new comrades are in combat. And no weapons, just our fists. What do you say? And a little warning if you accept,I am a monk, so I am all too familiar with the art of the fist."
"Potions of healing unfortunately costs quite a coin master halfling. coins that is embarrassingly low for new adventures such as I."
"I am however going shopping for an implement that can help in an adventure..."he looks to the halfing,"ones that which I can afford for now."
"Hadrian! As I have introduced myself earlier. Good to meet you three!"He threw his hands out to shake. "Lady Muriel, Master Jetsam, Master Halfling. I will come back shortly, Dugreos!"("no quarrel". An orcish greeting and goodbye)
Hadrian stepped out to buy javelins and came back a few hours later.
Hadrian came back chewing down on grilled meat on a stick.
"How fare your martial combat? Lady Muriel, Master Jetsam? Satisfied?"He took the stick out and threw it in the garbage.
"I am not much a fan of it unfortunately, I fight to help. If my strength is not enough, then I will die helping. And even then.. they will find it hard to kill me."
"Let me know when we are leaving." He took out his cartographers kit and started mapping Dolsela's streets.
After a day of trying to get info he comes up short. He learns nothing new. Back at yhe tavern. He will give Hadrain and Jetsam 2 potions each.
Here you go. Can have yhe defenders go down too easy. Learned nothing new just the bell going off every 5 secs west of town north of the road. The spot on the road widely differs to where they herd it.

Jetsam grinned a toothy grin. He lived for and loved combat, and there was no way he’d turn this down. “Aye. No armor either, I expect?”

"Ah, that is right.."
He left the tavern to ask about a clock tower east of the town somewhere in the forest.
