As Dageron speaks with the guards in orcish Hrothgar does not yet understand what hes talking about. So he simply tries to read the faces of those involved and judges by the tone of voice what is going on.
Perhaps hearing a word here and there that he understands but the bulk of it he cant make sense of. All he knows is that a few guards are looking defiant.
With Dageron shouting commands at Hrothgar he attempts to fill in the blanks. He walks around a little not going to near the guards but not afraid to pass through their ranks if there is a gap. Understanding he has to be humble he does not attempt to stare anyone down or eye them to long but follows Dagerons orders.
Once he found his horse he points to it and moves back towards Dageron a bit, making sure there isnt to much distance between the two.
"All of this over a horse." The Hobgoblin said, spitting on the floor at Dageron's feet. "You know something? I don't care who you are or what you're doing. I have my own mission to complete. Take that beast and the horse and go, before we eat both of them."
The Luck Dragon appears over the far side of the town and roars. The sudden appearance of this Luck Dragon brings on a slew of reactions.
There is panic from some of the weaker willed Imperials, who race back toward the side of town with the stables.
There is response from the Imperials who think that it is a harbinger of the return of the Khun Clan.
And then there is the Wyvern.
A black figure mills about it for a moment before stepping up confidently over the side. The wyvern beats its wings twice and is suddenly airborne, its fearsome rider in all black plate wheeling the dreadful beast toward the Luck Dragon...
Jek hears the commotion "Hey, our plan is working! We're a pretty good team! Oh, is that one of those wyvern things? Oh.... Ummm.... Plan was too good! Time for the dragon to run, one last roar."
With the roar towards the incoming wyvern, Jek will have the dragon turn, fleeing into a illusiouary cloud and disappear. He will have the cliff disperse, then drop Silent image. He will recast it again, this time making an image of a roof top, similar to the buildings around them, above them.
Jek follows his two new friends into the tunnel, and closes it up.
He looks at the two and says, as they start heading back. "Hopefully that helped then get the mounts. That guy looked really scary! Do you think he one of Vader's generals or something?"
As they get back to the temple, Jek will go up to Brevon "We got people's attention! Are the others back yet? There was a scary looking guy dressed in all black on a Wyvern. He looked really scary.... We should probably leave sooner than later."
Dageron takes the chance that is offered, motioning for Hrothgar to secure his mount and any others they came for. Just as quickly as possible they head back to the rendezvous in silence.
Dageron and Hrothgar are surprised to see the sort of discombobulated mobilization in the town around them. Part of the warriors have fled from the north eastern section of town and are heading west, toward the berm...to do what it is unclear. Obviously they are afraid and driven by something. The other part of the Imperial forces, the bulk of those in town, are rushing toward the north east...seemingly lead by a bad lookin' dude on the back of a Wyvern.
"I think Jek Utinni and our new friends have their attention." Melisandre says as she moves to rejoin Dageron. "Now if we can get back into the Temple...that will truly be a miracle of the Lady of Light."
And then...a literal miracle happens.
There is screaming and shouting to the north east as the Khun clan, led by Atoh Khan, ride over the berm to attack the split and unorganized Imperials...
Brevon sits cross-legged among the uRu, meditating to the soft hum of their chanting, praying for the safety of their allies. In his mind, a vast field of darkness spreads out before him, and he is a solitary flame, a tiny candle aglow at the center of an abyss.
With the chance to free his horse he moves close to it but the horse does not recognize Hrothgar yet due to the illusion on his armor and helmet. Having understood he is not to speak he whispers enough for his horse to hear.
Dont worry Argento, i have not forsaken you.
After freeing Argento he frees as 2 more horses and mounts Argento. Having his hand on the reigns of the other two horses as he guides them away before the orcs and hobglobins get impatient and while they still watch the wyvern and whatever its after.
Once they reach Melisandre Hrothgar dismounts again and tries to tie one of the horses to the wagon, leaving the other for Dageron to ride or guide towards their destination.
He whispers to them Taking more horses might of drawn suspicion. He glances back at the stableguards as they can still see Hrothgar and Dageron setup the wagon a small distance away with the horse and have 1 horse each before they depart east towards the temple
As the locals and imperials scream and shout as the unknown force from the north attacks the imperials Hrothgar hopes to see more guards leave their post to aid the battle. The chaos would surely be welcome to cover their escape.
The slab in the floor of the temple slides once again as Shirin moves it out of the way, making his way back up into the temple. Seeing Brevon and the uRu sitting and humming, he says, "The wyvern and its rider are distracted - we must move quickly."
With little disregard for their ability to keep up, he makes his way out towards the front of the temple to try and spot Team Bronco.
Jek comes up behind Shirin, looking about. "Yea, we caused a really good distraction. We could hear shouting all the way in the tunnel! Which, I mean, that's weird, the illusions have stopped now. But anyways... Can we leave now?"
Jek go to Brevon "Do you need help, can you get it to work?"
The battle intensifies. Within a minute of the start of the attack, the bulk of the Imperial forces begin to rush across the town, past the tower, moving as quickly as possible in the direction of the eastern breach to stop the Khan invasion.
There weren't many of the nomads left; bolstered now by the Afmd and Ugan clans, the Khun came roaring into the town with all the fury they had left. There were screams, the clash of steel, and the frying sound of flesh disintegrating under the breath weapon of the Wyvern as it strafed overhead.
And all of this could be heard from within the Temple.
Brevon runs to the entry of the temple, daring to look at the scene of battle laid out before them. He nearly physically recoils in terror at the sight of the wyvern and its dark rider.
"Stay back! Remain calm!" He urges the uRu who, as a matter of fact, are the calmest bunch he's ever met. Where are his companions? Now would be the time to act! He grips AURYN in preparation for his wish.
"No!" Brevon cries as the dark rider's wyvern strafes forward, disintegrating flesh of the Khun clan.
Nearly in a panic, Brevon turns and runs toward the center of the temple's interior. As he comes near the center, the smell of burned bodies hangs heavy in the air. What was he supposed to do?
A sudden, deep chill overtakes him. The cold is biting; it seems to seeps through his clothes and fills his lungs. He clutches AURYN, trying to remember the plan. But there is so much... so much... death.
"I wish..."
He drops to one knee and closes his eyes, clinging to the memory of a distant dream. An image of the rising sun. A soft wind. But it is suddenly so far away. Too far.
A memory, I need a memory! Think, Think!
In a panic, he tries to recall his dreams. But all he can see is the wyvern. The fire. The dark rider. Darkness. Death.
"I wish..."
And a face, barely visible, floating in the depths of memory. A face he has tried desperately to forget, for every time he envisions her he is wracked with guilt.
Zelara.
And another memory comes to mind. She, coming to bed, wandering the darkened hall of their home. She carried a single candle. Its flame illuminated her face as she peeked into his study. He, deep in thought, barely noticing her. Come to bed, she said. In a minute, he replied. The look of disappointment on her face. Goodnight, she said, snuffing out the candle.
"I wish!" he roars, brandishing AURYN before him, "for a portal to the Ivory Tower that only me and my allies may enter!"
Jek watches as Dageron and the others rushing back in, then Brevon's horrified face as he looks outside the templ. Jek begins to realize something else is going on. "But... It was just an illusion. Shadows and light." Jek whispers to himself. He goes to the entry way and looks out....
Jek has heard stories of war. Of gallant heroes, fighting dark hoards. This.... was not like the stories. People were dying in horrific ways. The Khan's actually came, and there was blood and fires and shouts and... and....... He remembered his elder brothers warning 'The world is not like the stories. It is a dark and dangerous place. There are some places the Bright Ladies light can't reach. ' He suddenly understood the sad look in his brothers eyes as he gave this warning. Why were they doing this?
Jek backs away from the entrance, and trips. Then he hears a small 'I wish' coming from Brevon. He turns and looks at his friends face, and sees that the horrors affected him as well, but then starts to see something else. A brightness, a realization, some resolve. As he watches the light burn brighter in his Brevon's soul and his friends shouting out the wish to the AURYN, he prays that it will work, that they can get away from this carnage.
Then Jek has a realization. He turns back to the door as the echo's of Brevon's words begin to die down. "Are Atoh and Tola out there?"

"Time to head back, I think!"
Insight 7 on who I think the wyvern rider is.
Shirin takes a look at the wyvern, watching as it flies about with the rider on top.
”Yes, let’s get moving.” He says, ducking back into the tunnel to make their way to the stables.
Pulling Darla around to face back into the tunnel, "Yes, let go."
The Wyvern continues to chase the Luck Dragon as it departs, spurts of flame searing the sky as the rider commands his mount to pursue and destroy...
