"Of course, Shirin Nezzoban. The Library is at the disposal of your company, should you wish. As for your concerns, Dageron of Aureki, I can summon High Priest Skraih to the Sanctum, should you wish council in this decision. I believe she can assist you better than I in this endeavor."
Krille stepped toward the door, motioning the group to follow.
Jek thinks about the poem. "That bit about the empress seems pretty straight forward. We need to bring her back. But what is divisions reign? And what's up with those blue lights?"
Jek stops and looks at the amulet again. "Greko just checked in. They don't know anything that can help. Ganondorf attacked Hyrule, and things didn't go well. They are going to help the survivers."
Dageron's eyes harden for a moment. "We've all but lost this war, and I've only just found my place in it. What a waste. At least we shall do battle with a beast of legend. If I die, that death would be worthy." He looks around at the others, then back at their host. "I have nothing further to add here. I would ask to be notified once the Empress is brought back. If resurrection is out of the question... feel free to use whatever other means you have at your disposal." He looks to Jek and the others. "I will be in the library reading their historical books. Whatever I can to try to glean more knowledge about the Triforce's themselves, and the other powerful things we ultimately seek - or are sought by our enemies. No sense wasting this opportunity in finding whatever tactical or strategically valuable information we can."
"Krille" Slade begins. "I'm finding meself in need of some new weaponry, as well as a spellbook. Ye wouldnae happen to know where I could find such for meself would ye?"
Amitola, having not said anything for a while, finding herself lost in her own thoughts. Coming back over to the group, making her presence known to the others, she awkwardly stands, being as she is usually to herself, she's beginning to become more comfortable with the group. She wants to be as helpful to them as possible knowing they had been through a lot, not only as individuals, but as a group as well.
She stuttered out, "My greatest apologies for being away in my thoughts. As I mentioned not long ago, is there any questions I can answer or anything I can help with? I know I've been a little closed off, but I'd like to help in the ways I can for you all."
Krille stands near the doors of the library while they take their opportunity to do research. Dageron seems to be immersed in several books, even while Krille stands idly by. If he's bored, none of them can tell.
"Ah, Slade. Yes. There are many such books here in the library...though, perhaps what you seek..." The avian person says, stepping across the library to an obscure shelf and pulling down a book to the Brownie. "I've always wondered when someone would need this tome...but I feel that you are the one who can benefit from it most at this point. Read through it. It'll take time. But it'll help you."
Across the front of the book is the word 'Enchiridion'.
Shirin, entering the library, says "We need information on the creature and the habitat. Krille, can you find us a bestiary? We'll also want to know about this area where the triforce is held. Perhaps we can learn of anything in the environment that could help us in the endeavor."
As the party enters the library they are witness to Darla tearing strips from a beautifully illustrated manuscript carelessly shoved onto the floor, these strips she weaves into her plumage and as each is placed she puffs her self up admiring her magnificance.
Krille nods as Shirin makes his request, and then leads the Witcher through the various columns and stacks in the library. He stops finally at a shelf, thumbs through the tomes piled there with feathered fingers, and then hands a book to Shirin.
"I believe this is the information you seek, Shirin Nezzoban."
Krille pauses and looks down at Darla. If a bird could look disappointed, Krille does.
Krille listens to Darla for a moment, nods, and then steps away. When he comes back, he is fluttering a brightly colored handkerchief that is twisted and tie-dyed.
Krille doesn't think twice. He stoops and loops the brightly colored handkerchief around Darla's neck, then guides his feathered hand down from her head, down her neck, and pats her back between her wings.
"A good girl. You must keep your master very safe, yes? Everyone needs a warrior goose as their protector."
Darla gives a shiver under Krilles gentle touch and puffing up her feathers, begins her mating dance. Unfortunately Slade had his nose buried in the Enchiridion and walked across her dance spoiling it.
Jek follows along, looking around for Qiwut. Absent mindedly, Jek will ask "What's a goose? Oh, hey, Darla is dancing! Neat! Oh, and there goes Slade."
With a sigh of frustration (maybe realization), Jek will then turn to Amitola "So, I'm looking for Qiwut, the librarian, and I'm now just realizing that I have no idea what they look like. Do you know them? Can you help me find them?"
Shririn takes his time going through the tome plucked from the shelf by Krille, attempting to glean whatever new and helpful information it has to offer. Much of it appears to be the source of some of the information he'd already learned, but there are certainly new discoveries as well, "To say our hands our full with this would be an understatement of the highest degree. Fifty feet tall, seventy feet long, several hundred thousand tons. No known vulnerabilities, a thick hide that's impenetrable to the common sword. However, the creature is old and perhaps changed from its extended exposure to the Triforce of Courage - the implications of such exposure are unknown."
Shirin closes the book and sits in silent thought, letting this information settle on his conscious.
Krille recoils a little at Darla's display of affection, then gently pats her head even as the tiny Brownie walking between them ruins the display.
"I am sorry, Madame Darla. While you are a fine specimen of a goose, I am afraid that my raptor lineage makes us....incompatible." Krille says as diplomatically as possible. "But I am heartened to know you like the handkerchief."
Amitola turns to Jek as she is asked this question. Nodding along with the question.
"He, much like a lot of the others here, is a Aarakocra. He is a brown owl, with tuffs... fluffs..., whatever phrase you desire to use, behind his ears. He is usually found roaming the halls. If you would like to find him, I do not mind to help. We can walk the halls to see if we can run into him to bring him back if you'd like."

Once again Slade finds himself in matters far above and beyond any he can hope to understand. He follows Krille grumbling.
"Just a simple life leadin me Guild, that's all I asked fer. Then some grubby tusker had ta go an throw me out into this pot o boiling shite."

*Slade takes the book from krille and gives a short bow.* "I thank ye sir."
Shirin, entering the library, says "We need information on the creature and the habitat. Krille, can you find us a bestiary? We'll also want to know about this area where the triforce is held. Perhaps we can learn of anything in the environment that could help us in the endeavor."

"Sister, why have you done this?"

Darla looks sideways at Krille before beginning a lengthy series of honks, hisses, and growls.
Translated and shortened-
Pretty colors make me happy.

"Would this be better?"

Darla hoots softly and, abandoning the book offers her neck to krille.
