A shadow crosses Dageron's face, as has often been the case lately. He has nothing left he holds precious. But the ritual will demand something... As he begins to look furtively through his diminished belongs, the warhorse carried so much now lost, he stops. The book. His book. Not the collected works, but the notes he had written into the now worn and tattered journal these past years. He winces at the realization, this is all I have left of me. He places it in the center, exhaling deeply as he does, his face a mask of grim determination. Whatever it takes.
Shirin nods, pulling his back down before him and rummaging through. Shortly thereafter, he produces a set of half-plate, setting it in the area designated by the priestess. “As you wish.”
Jek responds to Skraih "I heard the poem from another AUYRN bearer. They sent it to me through this." He'll hold up the AURYN.
When she mentions Falkor, he'll turn back and look at the image again. "That is the eldest, right? The Khan's mentioned something about summoning him. He looks quite beautiful in the image. I hope he helped them."
Jek smiles behind his face covering "I do tend to talk a lot, and things just come out. Just curious I guess. WHOA, that blue light! Hey, Dageron, that's like the magic that the Sorcerous did! Are you magics the same?"
At the mention of something precious, Jek thinks of two items he has on him instantly. He pulls two necklaces from around his neck, taking one in each hand. In the one hand is his most precious item, the AURYN. But that is needed for there mission. The other is what his brothers gave him long ago, a sealed crystal vial with a black, shadow like ichor in it. It helps focus his power, and is a reminder of home and his brothers. He will look up to Skraih and asks "Will the item be destroyed? My most precious item is the AURYN, but it isn't really mine to destroy it, it is part of our mission and how we contact on allies. I feel like it would be the best choice, but I have another precious object I can put in instead."
"This poem. Of no small. Consequence. Very important." Skraih says. "Falkor. Eldest luck Dragon, yes. Old, and wise. Free spirit, and free laughter. He comes soon. Comes with the Child Warrior."
Skraih nods as the half plate and the book are placed in the centermost triangle. She reaches in to position them a little better, using the utmost delicate touches to move the items about.
"Maybe yes. Maybe. No." Skraih says to answer the question about the items being destroyed. "That. Up to the Goddesses. You must pick. Item. Pick with your heart. And your logic. Whatever choice, think you best. Goddesses will appreciate most."
Slade knows of o ly two things more precious than his own life. Darla, and his gold.
"I've lived me life in the squalor and starving afore me beauty. I'd give up anythin else afore I'd lose ye, I hope the goddesses understand."
Reaching into a belt pouch Slade withdraws his purse containing all his wealth and tosses it into the sacred circle. Not without a shudder, but for the good of all.
Amitola, having been quiet throughout all of the events that had just happened, thought about making a comment, but stayed quiet the approach the situation in her head. Acknowledging the delicateness that Skraih has while moving the objects.
Finally after staying quiet and thinking for a moment, decides to turn to Jek to ask a question. "Jek, there is a possibility of it being destroyed, are you sure? You need to be sure in your choice."

Finally after staying quiet and thinking for a moment, decides to turn to Jek to ask a question. "Jek, there is a possibility of it being destroyed, are you sure? You need to be sure in your choice."
Jek smiles to Amitola. "There is a possibility, I suppose. But.. the Bright Lady is asking for something precious. This is more precious than anything I have ever held before." Jek holds up the AUYRN. He looks at the others. "But it isn't mine alone. If you all are okay with it, this is my choice. If not, let me know now."
If no one objects, Jek will take a moment to look at the AUYRN, then moves forward and gingerly places it with the other objects.
If someone objects, Jek will take the glass vial from his neck, and go forward. He will look at it and say "Brothers, thank you for the gift. It has protected me well. May the Bright Lady accept it." He will place the vial with the other objects.
A large red hand pats Jek's (shoulder?). "It may be powerful, and it may be tied to the station of some foolish soft-skinned princess and some failed supposed order. If you hold it in such high esteem, and it is destroyed, then you've met the conditions of this ritual. And we don't need the thing, because your Bright Lady doesn't need the thing. Right? If we're ordained to succeed then we will do so with or without it. If you truly believe, then do not fear what happens next. And if you're wrong, then all of you were praying to the wrong Gods anyway, and deserve to fail. That is the nature of war. Fight with everything you have, hold nothing back. Let the Gods decide if you were worthy."
Heh, I don't know anythin about that damned thing anyways. May as well toss it in and hope fer the best. Might not be destroyed anyways......
Darla hoots softly and nudges slades elbow
Heh? Oh by the nine hells Darla, if ye must ye must.... I pray ye know what yer about then. My offering seems to be Makin up her own damned mind on this.
Darla nips Slade on the shoulder and steps into the circle next to the gold.
Looking upon the others and back to Jek with sorrow for him, then sending a small smile to encourage him of his decisions. Realizing each of the group having to part with such things, Amitola thought to the deepest part of her mind, realizing the only thing she had that meant anything. Looking down, having bottled the emotions since the goodbyes of her only glimpse of a family, a small tear began to pool into her eye. She refused to let the others see her emotions, so she continued to look down, digging into her hidden breast pocket. Slowly unfolding the browned slightly tattered letter that she had carried for years. Once unfolded, she stared into it for a moment, knowing this could be the last time she had ever held onto that last piece of her past, of family, well what she had to call family. She quickly glanced at the beginning and mumbled the writing she had read over a hundred times. "To my dearest of friends..."
Knowing she had to do this, but struggling to do so, she the gave the signatures at the bottom a gentle swipe with her thumb. She folded the letter back gently, and gave it a small kiss before she laid it down along with the other items. While laying it down, under her breath, Amitola spoke, "I'm sorry, but I believe this goodbye is forever this time, it was a honor to be along side you." Refusing to look to the others knowing they too had felt the inner pain of having to let their items go, she stared into her feet, remembering things from the past as she always did after reading the letter. Once she felt like she could, she looked into the group and softly done her best to comfort the. others too, "I was once told, you sacrifice for the things you love, before the things you love become the sacrifice."
Skraih reaches forward, completely oblivious of the Eldritch Horror that is Darla, and positions everything once again. The AURYN, Dageron's book, Amitola's letter, the gold...these things go on top of the Half Plate of Shirin's. She nudges Darla closer to the Half Plate, and then looks around.
"Ready." She says. "Six here. Most fortunate. Six is perfect number."
Skraih begins to take each of them by the shoulders and place them at the corners of the various triangles. Once she has placed the five members of the Order of the Phoenix around the Triforce, she sits herself. She reaches into her robes and pulls out a vial of a glittering green / gold liquid, pulls the stopper from it, and flicks some of it over the contents of the center triangle.
The room goes unnaturally dark. A faint golden glow invades the edges of the room, and blue light illuminates the faces of those gathered around the sigil now glowing in the floor. They are only able to see the sigil and each other.
"Farore's wind." Skraih says, fanning her good wing over the sigil, her voice echoing louder than usual.
"Din's fire." And she produces a flame from one hand and waves it through the air over the sigil.
"Nayru's love." A vial emerges from her cloak after she reaches in with the other hand. She raises it high, leans into the triangle, and crushes it on the floor. Blood and glowing blue liquid coats the palm of her hand, and the floor, as she leans back, ignoring her injury.
Darla curls up next to the Half Plate and goes to sleep...
"Golden Goddesses." Skraih says, raising her hands over her head, a single drop of glowing blood dripping down from her hand to the floor. "It is humble Skraih. I am here. Servants with, the AURYN. Your council we seek. The Order of the Phoenix, they wish. To speak."
She lowers her hands and gestures to the Order of the Phoenix, opening the floor for them to speak to the Goddesses...
Jek listens to the ceremony, not realizing what's happening.
Then he realizes. They are speaking to who Skraih calls the Golden Goddess, who must really be the Bright Lady.... They are talking to the Bright lady! Can Jek be so presumptive to speak to the Devine, his form giver? What would he say, what could be say?
He turns to the rest of the order, trying to convey days worth of discussion in a look.
The sigil flares back to life, the blue light of the lines bathing the walls and ceiling in light as Skraih's face emerges from the darkness. Suddenly, the three goddesses are gone, washed away by the light. The sigil begins to dissolve, the light fading, the lines disappearing from the floor.
With them, the AURYN Medallion has faded from existence...consumed by the summoners magic...
Jek is sitting, cross legged on the floor, with his eyes shut, remembering the image of the Bright Lady, memorizing it. He opens his eyes when he hears Dageron. "I think that's what we want to prevent. Apparently the tarrasque has a mate. Oh, look, everything is still there! And Darla is safe!... Wait, wasn't the AUYRN in the middle there..... Ummm..... Oh..." Jek slumps down reaching to where the amulet was. What has he done?
Slade grabs his gold stuffing it into his pack, then wraps an arm around Darla's neck.
"Ah me beauty, safe and sound as ever I see. Fer sure those three couldnae handle havin ye in their realm fer fear yed take over an all."
Hearing Dageron's exclamation Slade gives a look and sees the AURYN missing. "Shame to waste such a pretty bit o gold." Then having heard Jek speak. "Hold on fer a moment there laddie, yer saying that the monstrous creature we're to face is looking like TWO beasties? That Ladie didn't day nought o that...."
Dageron stands, retrieving his book as he does. He walks to Jek and slides it down into his small hands. "There. Now my life's work is in your hands. If I fall, you can see to it that whatever armies remain have some guidance on how to fight on against Vader and the others. I trust you with this." Without another word, he turns and leaves the chamber towards the library... to learn all that can be learned about The Force.
Jek sees Darla and Slade reunited, which helps and brings a smile to his face. Then, as Dageron gives him the book and goes to leave, Jek grabs his hand.
"Wait, we should discuss what we learned.... And there's still the matter of the childlike empress."
With a deep breath, Jek begins to explain. "The tarrasque has been surrounded by the light of the triforce for 2000 trine, which has made it grow bigger and stronger and it now can attack from range. Once we get the triforce, it will be freed, there is no stopping that from happening. Once that happens, we need to flee to skyloft and alert the guard posts, so they can drop it into the sea below."
Jek stops for a moment and takes a deep breath. "It will try to free it's mate from the subhylian sea of... Oh ummm, what was it.... Subternia. We need to go to Atlantis and free the Apex Predator before it reaches it's mate. This Apex Predator will stop the tarrasques and work to restore balance. Umm, how did the Bright Lady phrase it... 'The Terrasques, The Kraken Kygrax, they will bend and they will break'."
Jek will stop and look to the others, then he will say. "I can't believe I got to talk to the Bright Lady! That was amazing! I never thought something like this was possible. She touched my face and she smiled at me! Thank you, Skraih!"
