Travin's tears dry as he looks around, too many people upset right now. He swallows his own upset as he still focuses up on Jareth, eyes insistent that he needs the goblin king for something.
He looks from Hoggle to Shavaris, then back to Hoggle, "Travin was trying to figure out how it works hmm? The pistol! Yeh yeh, Hoggle was shot by accident, and a-and, Travin Is Sorry. Hmmm? Yeh yeh he is! Travin can't make it up to Hoggle, so take the shinies anyway... This is Travin's sorry." If Shavaris allows, Travin puts one hand on her shoulder as he hands out the gems toward Hoggle, his healing spell now done and Jareth...
As Johnathan waits for the magic to take hold he sees the dawn guard falling apart. He sees Kerwyn and Delphinium starting to threaten each other, he sees Shavaris look very displeased as she hears what he almost did. That hurts more than the creature poison attack. She was one of the only ones that truly accepted what he was and made him feel human again. To see her disappointed was truly soul crushing. Johnathan looks at the fallen companions and he just hears a voice in his head repeating the same phrase. You failed again. Johnathan begins to start crying slightly. He tries his best to conceal it as much as he can, pulling his hood up again. Enough. He looks up to face Delphinium and Kerwyn. We have lost enough today. I know many of us have done things today that we regret or soon will. Delphinium I know you meant well for the creature. You never did like to kill things. Did you ever think that Kerwyn did what he did to protect you? The creature could’ve left peacefully or it may have killed us in our sleep. I’m not saying killing is right but remember that Kerwyn isn’t himself currently so don’t hate him too much. And Kerwyn, you and I need to apologise to Hoggle. Threatening to kill a man with a boom sick because he said a your mamma joke is ridiculous. As for what I did early I am sorry Hoggle. I know you are scared of me and that’s ok but don’t punish the dawn guard over it. We can’t let Blix keep this power, or he will kill the mare and then creatures of the night will rule forever. Believe me there are things worse than this stink monsters, worse than Dhampirs and vampires. If we turn back now all these death we suffered today will be pointless. And it can’t all be pointless. We might be cross with each other, hell, we might want to kill each other. But then Blix wins and everything we sacrificed will die with this world. So can we please just finish this. After that we can never see each other again if we want. He pauses, clearly struggling to keep his cool as he has his little speak. He gives a glance over to see if Jareth has “risen” again.
Kerwyn looks up as Delph flies off. He still doesn’t fully understand his position, but he moves on and shrugs his shoulders and gets back to business. The business in his mind is of getting the hell out of here and keeping everyone alive, hunting the mare. He is curious to see what happens with Jareth, he goes into the tunnel and observes. He also puts his hand on Ralik’s chest and bows his head, saying a few words. “I wish I could’ve been there for you, stopped all this from happening. But what’s done is done. Go peacefully my man. Oah! Oah!”
Those around Kerwyn notice a little difference in him. It is gradual and he doesn’t notice it, but he seems a little calmer, but more confident. As he’s saying his goodbyes to Ralik, he says “You won’t be needing these anymore Ralik, and I do. I know you’d understand. I avenged you, my man. I will protect the Dawn Guard, like I know you would want me to.” Kerwyn slips off his winged boots and puts them on himself. After paying his respects, he looks back in on Jareth and the others. He says away from Hoggle, not wanting to ruin their chances any more. As they are all singing kumbaya Kerwyn looks for the exit from this place. Wiggling up beside him in the corridor is a caterpillar, and at his feet a couple of earthworms. “Aaaaiiigghh!” he says and jumps back, going to the opening of the passage and taking some deep breaths, trying to clear his head.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Hoggle and his friends watch the unfolding shit show with a combination of disregard and disbelief. The few things they care about are there. Even as Jareth stirs, they disconnect themselves mentally from the Dawn Guard. There are a couple of hushed conversations, even a hushed word from Hoggle as he says something to Ludo and then the Horned Beast picks Jareth up.
"Where is the babe..." The Goblin King says in a deep, soothing voice as he begins to come around. His torn clothing hasn't mended but his bodily damage has. "What happened?"
Hoggle, Didymus, and Ludo don't offer any answers.
"I don't care about none of that!" Hoggle finally says, wiping his tears from his eyes with fat fingers. "The one thing I cared about most is laying here dead, and after all the terrible things you bastards have done! Terrible, awful things! We're not going another step with you! Not another single step!"
He takes the shiny as Travin hands it to him and then launches it back into the bog, letting it fall into the stinking water.
"As far as I can tell, nothing is ever your own faults! You get something you want and it goes bad? Blame Hoggle! You have a bad dream? Blame Hoggle! Hoggle doesn't give you what you want so you throw a fit until he does and then its bad...blame Hoggle! Baaah! No more of you!"
He turns, says something quietly to Ludo, and then Ludo scoops up Sarah.
"Can you walk?" Hoggle says to Jareth as he helps the Goblin King to his feet. It's certainly a strange sight, to see someone so short help someone so tall, especially considering there had been animosity between them before. "We need to go see the Bog Hag. Ludo?"
The Horned Beast looks back as they begin to move down the corridor. Only Sir Didymus looks at the Dawn Guard one more time. He looks distraught, sad. He raises his hand to wave, specifically to Delphinium, and mouths something in the moment before Ludo moans...and the corridor seals itself shut.
Tucked up high and watching from above as they sit there sad and miserable Delph watches as Sir Didymus goes off with their friends. The brave kinght turns to wave to Delphinium looking sad themselves. The fairy wipes the tears from their eyes and gives a weak wave back. The pair of brave adventurers sharing what might be one last look at each other. Their new friends driven away by hate, anger and even being attacked. They notice movement with the group and it seem the only one to survive is Jerath. The only one Delph didn't try to heal. Delph couldn't help but think they were cursed, almost everyone they've tried to help since leaving home has died. At least someone survived. Delph watches at they walk off. Ludo sealing the corridor underneath the fairy. They didn't even seem to care. They just hoped the bog hag that Hoggle spoke of could help their friend. Delph just holds their legs in with their arms as their wings wrap around as well. Waiting to see what the Dawn Guard will do now.
Without giving them another chance, Hoggle and the group are gone, closing their way out of the bog behind them. Shavaris looks around her at the Dawn Guard and shrugs. Well, all they can do is keep moving, see if they can find Blix on their own. He was in the bog after all, maybe he teleported somewhere beyond? He has to still be around right? She still hears Eloise...
She walks over to Running Bird and gently tries to sooth the large bird, petting him and talking to him softly, the way Ralik used to. She hopes she can keep the bird with them as she doesn't want to leave Ralik's best friend in this bog. She tries to start leading him back to the entrance of the bog and then looks around at their options.
"****!" Travin yells as the rock slams down sealing the exit, he swivels looking for where the shiny gems landed before giving up as he doesn't want to step foot into the waters that he has avoided so far..
"Travin needs to know what we all know about bogs? Hmmm? Travin and his group must escape smelly place yeh yeh!? Go to goblin castle, redeem themselves yeh? Blix gets deaded or thrown out, hmmm, then Jareth, stupid Jareth comes back, hmmm, then Travin can get... Can receive... The thing?.. the who..? The, hmmmm." At this point the Junkperson's memory clearly fails, his motivation a mystery to himself, but the need to have Jareth back persistent.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Johnathan doesn’t react to Hoggle rant. He just lets him leave this hell hole. At least the dawn guard were forced to stick together but the tension was still thick in the air. He looks around to get a sense if they are currently save before addressing the other (though he does his best to avoid eye contact with Shavaris). Well at least the mad man lives again. Didn’t even think to see if he could be saved. I don’t know about you guys but I’m pretty beaten up from that creature and I think it’s been one crazy day. Do we want to rest in the tunnel before exploring this bog? It’ll give us time to share what’s happened and where we go from here. Johnathan awaits to see what the others want to, still cautious that they were in serious danger and that they need to formulate a plan before the just start running head first into a bog.
With Running Bird at her side, she looks out at the bog not seeing anything on the move now that Kerwyn had taken out the two monsters. Funny, she thinks how the situation has changed. She isn't sure how they are going to get through this, but now wasn't the time. She turns back to the rest of the group, pausing a minute as she looks upon Ralik's body. She nods when Johnathan mentions rest and sits against the wall, with her team, looking up at Delph. If she can catch their eye, she smiles at them and waves for them to come and sit upon her shoulder again.
"I am not in need of a long rest, so I'll keep watch. Those that do not need a rest either are welcome to join me, honestly a pause after all we've been through since entering this damn labyrinth would be good."
Kerwyn walks over to Shavaris, sitting beside her. “I just need a brief rest. I fared well in our battle, but we need to have all of our strength to make it though this bog. I can help you keep watch after I’ve had a little nap.”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Travin muddles around for a bit, agitated an trying to remember something, but eventually he retracts into his junk pile and sleeps, his form just becoming a dormant pile of trash heaped up to the side of this corridor.
As Delphinium listens to the others talk of taking a short rest they say from their perch on the rocks above "I will keep an eye out. You can all rest." They are still sitting with their arms and wings crossed in front of their legs but they do have a higher view then the others right now. They don't come down still seeming miserable but they do look out over the swampy waters scanning for any movement or signs of life. Their eyes drifting to the area where the creatures raised out of the muck many times. They take note of the way the swamp is a collection of tiny islands all surrounded by a terrible smelling muck. Beyond the smell the fairy can see some beauty in the area. Bog flowers tiny but vibrant, not caring of the smell themselves bloom here and there. Rocky formations jutting out here and there like sculptures of nature. Trees hanging and seeming dilapidated but really are just versions of sparsely leaved willows. Delph wonders how they look when they are in season. They can see pieces that make them understand why Sir Didymus called this place their home. Delph also wonders if it was Jerath that granted him this land and gave him the title of a knight.
Shavaris smiles at Kerwyn as he sits next to her, he seems not as crazy as he did before, hopefully whatever spell he was under was gone. As the Dawn Guard finds a sort of comfortable spot to rest in this tunnel, she looks to her friends and sighs. "Sorry for my outburst, I just... well sorry." she looks over at Ralik again, unsure what to do with him now that he was gone. She looks up at Delph, "Hey, would you mind joining us for a bit? I'd like to tell you this too."
"I am terribly sorry for sneaking off like I did with Ralik. I had NO idea that would happen. I can't promise I won't do it again, I'm sure I will, but I am truly sorry. If I hadn't, Ralik would probably still be with us." She stops here, trying her best to control herself, not wanting to get racked with sobs again, she needs to get this out.
"Once I got to the opening of this tunnel, Jareth was broken on the ground as you saw him with Sarah, alive, suspended from the tree above him. Over on the bank that slopes upward," Shavaris points straight out towards a small log and large rock, "There stood who I can only assume to be Blix, and he.. he held the Alicorn in his fist. He was directing the monster to come and finish off Jareth and Sarah. At this point, I whirled around, caught up with Ralik and told him to go back and get you all. But by then it was too late and the slab fell down.
"I returned to the bog and tried to stop the goblin - shot an arrow into him, and he commanded the Alicorn creating fire everywhere and that was when that terrible sound filled the air and ripped through, well everything. The monster, well it did what the monster does and we lost Sarah. That was when my sister, Eloise appeared. Blix and Eloise fought, she hurt him, I could tell that, but then he.. he made her disappear. But what was strange after that? He started to break apart.. I can't describe it any other way, almost into blocks that floated up into the air and dissipated.
She pauses, looks at her friends with fresh tears, "And then it hit Ralik." and Shavaris buries her head in her knees again, unsure where to go from here.
"Do not apologize my friend, none of us expected this. The worst we all guessed was some strong beast, we didn't expect Blix, or Jareth, or the Alicorn. None of us could've expected it, and we approached it in the best way we could with what we knew. You and Ralik fought as best as you could, and you ensured that no one else died. Now we must rest and prepare, I trust that your sister has done quite a number on Blix along with the Alicorn. I felt that magic, and he seems to have messed with things he should not have, and he has paid for it. We will complete the mission my friend, our fallen have given us a better chance than we could've hoped for, tomorrow, we shall find and deal with Blix. He has paid his debt of magic, but he has not paid his due to us." Ward says, before getting up and moving through the bog looking for and collecting Pheonix Vine while staying within close range of the group. Ward will try to collect as much Pheonix Vine as he can reasonably carry before heading back towards the group.

Delphinium rubs their eyes when Shavaris calls them down. The tiny fairy looking down at them all. They put on a smile and seem like they are back to their cheerful self. They say with chipper energy "Of course Shavaris!" Their glow isn't very bright but they have a small glimmer as they flutter down. Their wing rapidly beating as they hover in place near the others. The tiny fairy watches her and listens as she talks. They don't seem to react too much as the tale unfolds but as she begins to struggle the tiny fairy fills in the rest for them to help and addresses the group, "I just caught the last couple parts. I distracted the beast away from others after trying to help that girl Sarah. That was until the rest of you showed up and you know the rest."
Delph turns back to Shavaris and seems concerned for them as they continue to talk this time addressing Shavaris instead of the group. "You did everything you could Shavaris. Something crazy happened though. I only barely saw the cubey thing happen to Blix from afar. I didn't see what happened to the alicorn though did you?"
Over the next little while, Ward will continue working on his project. Two more times there is an explosion and Ward catches on fire and rolls into the water extinguishing himself. In the end Ward manages to make 4 Napalm Bombs

Johnathan listens intensely when Shavaris mentions Blix in the area. It was very concerning that he had some influence over the creatures and that he knew that they were here. It also seemed that Jareth was being used as a sacrifice of some sorts. And this Sarah, you was she and why was she so important that Blix had to kill her. Very concerning, very concerning indeed. It’s not your fault Shavaris. Johnathan managers to finally look her in the eyes when speaking to her. There was no way we could’ve known that the path behind us would close us off or that Blix itself would be here. Though him having the alicorn makes sense. It’s probably why the ground was shaking and it seems it gives him even more powers. He looks over the others now, still a bit ill and battered. This isn’t going to be an easy fight. Blix now knows we are here and will most definitely be on the throne. Plus he seems to have influence over the creatures here. We should rest up and then make our way through the bog. I think this is probably our last chance to rest for a while. With that Johnathan will have a long rest. His dreams are plagued with nightmares. He dreams of the battle of the unicorn where he saw the unicorn killed by goblins. He is chasing them, trying to save them when he fails. He watches as most of his soldiers friends are dying around him. History has a way of repeating itself. How much pain has Blix caused for me? He is the reason I was killed to begin with, why I am what I am. Why the lord of darkness is closer to begin freed upon this world. All this pain, all of it was their fault. And now I am starting to lose my new friends. When will it be enough.
Johnathan doesn’t have the best night sleep he could have. It was all crashing down on him. He lost his friend, he almost killed a man and now they have Blix with the powers of both the labyrinth and the alicorn. When he awakens he notices something off with Travin. He didn’t seem quite himself. Johnathan decides to leave it for now but will keep an eye on the creature with the bag eating monster. He is somewhat more concerned over the fact Ward nearly blew himself to pieces. He sees he is alright and after realising that Ward was making preparations he decides to do the same. Johnathan prepares to head off by gathering his supplies and summons spirit the horse. He also takes some creature blood for the road ahead. He was running low on supplies and couldn’t afford to be picky. With that he will begin to head off with the others deeper into the bog.

As Ward is working with his alchemical mixtures, there's a flash, and then an explosion as he is caught in a bright ball of fire...
