Well, you've been warned about his presence and he is also in the open now, so nothing is stopping Duncan from seeing him.
His bolt hits the goblin in his head. He manages to take one more step before falling in the stream.
Following the bridge path, you reach a new eastern cavern. This cavern is half filled with two large pools of water. A narrow waterfall high in the eastern wall feeds the pool, which drains out the western end of the chamber to form the stream that flows out of the cave mouth below. Low fieldstone walls serve as dams holding the water in. There is a wide exit to the south, and you figure that has to be the area where Maris saw the bugbear Klarg.
This cavern, however, is guarded by 3 goblins. They are not doing anything in particular and they also haven't really noticed you so far.
Lillian moves forward to HC8 and takes the dodge action.

Using the momentum of their surprise attack, Tessa sprints forward to strike the nearest goblin.

He moves closer to where Teslyn killed the first goblin and takes the shortbow and arrows from his body. He then tries to shoot the remaining goblin from afar.
