Chubby: “Here goes nuttin!” Chubby places the following items in the transmuter, in order:
Lit Torch (common)
Face mask (this wooden mask depicts some sort of cultural god)(purchased from Kadu, the armorer in town)(I’ll call this one-of-a-kind, since it was the only one for sale!)
You notice this time, the box didn't have to "think" as hard about the items which were presented.
OOC: Okay, that is legitimately cool. I just have a couple of questions about it though. (1) Does the effect only apply to the person blowing it, or can one person blow it to heal someone else? (2) How many times can this be used? Is it a set limited number like the ointment itself? One or two charges per day? Something else entirely? (3) Pending answer to #2, does it require attunement?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Liam's whistle, (after undoubtedly casting identify on everything which comes out) works the same as the ointment, but by blowing the whistle. Whoever blows the whistle gains the HP. Does not require attunement. It has 2 charges

Bottleopener, his trusty Battleaxe +1 (uncommon)
Chubby places these items in the slots... but the battleaxe gets pushed back to the top of the slot. It looks to be rejected...
Nia eyes the slots. "Hey, Chubmeister, the stuff isn't coming out. They don't seem like magic items, so want me to put my spare handaxe in there to see if that does anything?"
The mask is spit out the bottom, with a magical essence flowing around it and decorative flames are inlaid over it.
Mask of the Fire Thrower. (Uncommon)
Requires attunement. When the wearer of this mask throws a melee weapon, the weapon bursts into flames mid air, and the target takes an extra 1d6 fire damage on hit.
Nia pulled out the loot from the crones huts: The ever-beating heart in the jar, the Seashell of the Depths, the brain jar, the stockings, the jar of brown-y sludge and the twig dolls. "Hmmm. Did we ever find what these were besides the shell? But, the slots are freed up, Sweety. You can try for pizza now."
Liam also cringes at the sight of the hag items being brought out.
"I...don't particularly think it would be a good idea to use those...at least not yet."
Since it seems we've got a fair bit of free time to experiment with this thing, Liam will take some of that time to go ahead and Identify anything that he hasn't already.
The ever-beating heart in the jar. It is indeed the still beating heart of someone- or something. The magical fluid seems to be keeping it alive. Uncommon.
Seashell of the Depths. Produces a litre of salt water when "hail the kraken" is spoke near it. Uncommon.
the brain jar. Looks like a brain in preservation liquid. No magical properties. Just quite nutritious! Common.
The stockings. They have some sort of enhancement magic which makes the wearer feel incredibly attractive, but smells awful. Common.
Jar of brown-y sludge. Seems like swamp water. Edit: unless this was scooped out of the hag's cauldron? In which case, still smells delicious and has enchantment magic in it. Rare.
The twig dolls. No longer magic, but have traces of abjuration magic on them. Common.

Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?
"It's not a magic item...it's DiJiorno!"

”Here, let me try!” Crispy cries, and shoves the tomatoes, cheese, and pineapple in the box.
Well, currently Chubby's lit torch and mask are occupying 2/3 slots. Would you like to put something else in the 3rd?
Now's a good time to notice that... once something goes in, you can't get it back out.

Nia eyes the slots. "Hey, Chubmeister, the stuff isn't coming out. They don't seem like magic items, so want me to put my spare handaxe in there to see if that does anything?"
Chubby to Nia: “Actually, I’ve got a handaxe as well.”
Chubby grabs one of his hand axes and places it in the third slot.

It seems to accept those three items!
A low humming sound.......

Upon identifying the mask, Liam is THOROUGHLY impressed.
Nia lets out an impressed whistle. "We should spend a little time with this and get ready for the final fight."
“Final fight?” Crispy asks, “We’re not done yet?“
Chubby still needs his axe... What haven't you tried yet? So far you've produced uncommon items by sacrificing... common items... hrmmm
What else do you know about this machine?
"CoS" Rumble- Tabaxi Shadow Monk
Oh, I get it. So sacrifice uncommons for a rare, it seems.
