This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Darby looks at the ogre and then his outstretched hand several times as it falls, looking to the others and then scrambling off to the side as he sees the others trying to hide.
Dwalt's Impression of the Ogre bought you some seconds as you could hear the footsteps change from a quick pace to a more relaxed one, all the noise you made from repositioning, discussing what to do next was enough to keep it suspicious (failed stealth rolls). The creature was mumbling as he approached where the ogre was sleeping "I've told you to keep it quiet! the animals can't rest nicely and then they'll get upset and you know that if they are upset I'm upset!"
Here's an updated version of the map, you noticed that the wall that was behind the ogre have a small entrance where a human could fit crawling. A Gnome would fit lowering its head to avoid some rough edges.
You'll have a chance to decide what to do next - just an action/turn - before the creature arrives there.
Darby moves to where he can see whatever is coming and hopefully stay out of sight if possible. Once ue thinks that he is well hidden enough he looks toward where the voice is coming from.
Grim recognizes that he can't hide very well as a bear and just stands beyond the door, planning to be a distraction for whatever comes through the door, so it won't see his allies.
When the Verbeeg finally arrived to the area he noticed first Grim in it's bear form " hey! Hello little one, what are you doing here? Did the stupid Ogre brought you here for me? I have another friend just like you!" - as if he forgot or stopped caring about his friend being stupid and thumping it's head with the baskets as usual, the Verbeeg tries to befriend Grim.
The Verbeeg is not aggressively approaching Grim, he seems experienced with animals - Grim may react in any way, if you'd like to behave friendly or in any other way we will require a "deception" roll but we will use your survival skill if you consider impersonating a bear. If you'd like any other approach please let me know and we'll see what to roll
From views his role as a distraction until the others act, so he plays along for now.
"Another friend?" He says in bear.
Survival roll: 25
The Verbeeg reacts to Grim's curiosity and continues "You got excited huh? come, dinner is almost ready" the Verbeeg turned back and gestured with its hand to Grim hoping that he would follow him.
as he reaches the area with the animals and the bonefire he shouts back at the Ogre - "Stop making a ruckus there, remember I hang the baskets so the bear wouldn't mess with them if you keep bumping your head with them it won't make a difference!" - The Verbeeg sits on top of a heavy wooden crate which had a big piece of fur on top, probably mammoth. And whistled. "I hope you are hungry because here's a treat for you!" it grabs a barrel that was near the fire and it tips it on the floor letting a bunch of entrails hit the ground, the loud thump generated by content of the barrel as it hit the floor caused the Verbeeg pet to rush to the area, snarls and claws where now echoing through the cave. "I know, you like those as well but we are greeting a new friend, don't worry I have something else for you. The Verbeeg moves to another barrel with a satchel on top and also empties its contents, but this time bones and a severed head of a bearded dwarf hits the floor. "I know we don't do dessert before dinner but this is a special ocassion". Finally the Verbeeg takes a piece of meat that was being roasted in the bonefire. "Now let's eat!"

Grim isn't sure what to do. He had expected his companions to attack the thing before leaving the room.
(Can you describe the room? If I think we could fight just the verbeeg, I would attack it now, but if his "friends" are going to join the fight, I would wait.)

Right now you are in the area with the animals and the bonfire, it is spacious and the Verbeeg is currently eating accompanied by a bear and you.
But right now you are expected to act, or you may also wait to see if the rest will join to attack again by surprise (Sarya already said that she would do that) so let's make another survival roll - which represents you behaving like a bear, and then just say what you are doing, eating the entrails, rejecting them, etc. Basically to avoid raising any suspicions
Grim will sniff at the entrails, he will not eat any, knowing that they are likely from villagers and he refuses to eat sentient beings unless his survival depends upon it. He his hoping one of the other party will strike the beast while he's distracted by Grim.
Ghathi will also attempt to take cover again. (Stealth: 7)

Dwalt will move to the right side of the cave entrance, reloading and keeping his crossbow at the ready.

You can be anywhere between the Ogre area and the tunnel that connects to the area with the bonefire before taking this turn that I mentioned above.
Sarya stays hidden in cover somwhere behind Ghathi, ready to ambush the verbeeg as it comes into view.

OCC: Does Dwalt see this Verbeeg?
I'm assuming everyone would've take a glimpse of the Verbeeg.
