You open the next door. Ahead of you, a long, thin and straight corridor stretches out. At the other end, you see a swish of robes behind a small slit. How do you proceed?

There's a door, and about a foot to the left of it is the slit, which is about 2 feet by 4 inches. It's hard to see much in here, the light is fairly dim.

It's 10 feet wide and 100 feet long, approximately. The floors are smooth stone with regular indentations. The walls are rough, some moss grows on them. The ceiling is about 10 feet above the floor. It consists of square stone panels about ten feet on a side. Rusty iron frames surround each panel. The panels are suspended about several inches from one another and the wall to either side. They form a row overhead that continues down the passage.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Or they DO work, and there's another way around..." Rey follows on.
Rey would like to look for any signs of tracks maybe in the fine dirt or dust which indicate any sort of movement around here such as foot prints or mechanical scrape marks.
There are definitely footprints going through. You can't tell much else without entering the corridor.

"OWAAAHHH!" Rey jumps back, hopping on one leg and clutching his tail in both hands. He looks around at the others awkwardly... before quickly resuming his stoic facade. "I uhh.. thought rocks... never mind."
Rey pulls out a javelin and scrapes some moss off the side of the wall, to see if the wall reveals any clues.
The wall is a wall. Nothing really special about it, although the moss does smell a bit weird.

"What do we think, boys?" Rey asks. "I saw something flutter in the slot down the end of the hall. I'm fairly quick on my feet, should I check it out?"
If it wasn't clear Leofir is leaving the kid unless there's a safe spot for him to hide while we move forward after the insane guy.

Yuron won't argue that, better safe than sorry. Yuron is also ready to to set off after him.

Is it just a slit in the end of the hall? If so how big?

Leofir says, "A long narrow corridor without much room to move and a viewing hole at the end of it. Perfect place for traps. Or an ambush."
(How long and how wide is this corridor?)
Leofir checks for any signs of traps or anything suspicious looking in the corridor itself (floor, walls, ceiling) before moving down the corridor.
