Eline turns from Trem, though reluctantly, and listens to the conversation at hand. She watches as Reginald and Roxi talk to and exchange the dagger with Lathis, the blacksmith.
She breaks from Trem for a moment, and approaches the blacksmith herself. She speaks then. "Lathis," she says carefully, "I'm only curious, and as you've come to a good enough conclusion about this dagger, I only have one other question."
She points to the weapon, continuing. "Are there any other qualities about this thing that are alchemical in nature? Is that something you'd be willing to discern?"
"Thank you, sir! That actually helps us out quite a bit!" remarks Reginald. He turns to the others, "It probably was one of the other items that caused the problems for Tulgi and Urgon. We'll have to track those down then." He returns his attention back to the smith "Did you also do the silvering on Mister Wenth's maul?"
"Not as yet, but it is good to know that this town has such quality work available.", Reginald looks at the others and comments, "Unless the rest of you would like to peruse his wares, I think we are done here." He turns back to the smith and asks "Is there an alchemist or apothecary that you would personally recommend?"
“Thank you, Master Lathis. Should we need your assistance in procuring special weaponry, we will return.”
Roxaria turns around, her shoulders slouching slightly. “I thought we were onto something there. I do question the look that bandit gave me when I flashed the blade. I also wonder if Hulil has the twin blade. Remember that the first item on that receipt was a dagger? It was sold for…” she pauses and turns back to Lathis.
Lathis thinks a bit as he grabs some iron. "You would need to visit the small temple of Moradin for herbal needs." He then looks at Roxaria "This dagger would go for 500 gold pieces"

“Again, thank you for your expertise, Master Lathis.”
Roxaria looks at the group. “Where to now? I don’t think Hulil has the other dagger like I thought. I think you’re right Reginald, mayne something else within those stolen relics msy reveal something or… maybe we just need to find out where Urgon last came from exploring? I am plum out of ideas right now.”
Vauthok looked up at Roxaria as she spoke to the group, his face settling on a slight frown that they may have found nothing other than a rare blade. There were definitely options to consider but only one really stood out to the giant. “I say we go after Hulil.” He folded his arms across his broad chest and looked at each of his comrades as he spoke. “Take away her protection and poke her with that expensive little knife until she says something we want to hear.” Now things were starting to get interesting.
"I wonder if Urgon had known he had a magical dagger in his possession, since he let it go for a mere 120 pieces of gold to Tulgi." The gnome considers the time and continues, "It's still early in the afternoon, I'm going to head to the temple before the priest their decide to head off for their evening brew. I'm going to ask if Urgon had come by before his passing looking for help. Also, they might have a good idea who to talk to about the possible alchemical angle here in town."
Reginald pauses at the door, considering Vauthok's comment, "We'll definitely visit Hulil, without question, but lets keep the "poking" to a minimum." he says with a slight frown. He then heads out to the temple.
Reginald slaps himself on his forehead and exclaims, "There I go jetting off before I think things through... Here you go Trem." and with that he hands the dagger to the elf, THEN heads to the temple.
Kha grunts in agreement with Vauthok. "It seems like we're a step behind the source here. If Hulil got whatever trinket not long after her gang stole it from Pelc's, who's already dead, then Hulil doesn't have much time. With a day to get to her caves, we may not be able to get any answers from her if we don't get on the road."
"Maybe we should get ourselves some horses to make the trip a bit quicker?"
Eline looks over the ornate dagger as it is handed off to Trem. She smiles at him then, and says, "see? Good things come to those who wait patiently. As for me, I'm with Kha: we may want to get on the road as soon as we can."
As everyone is heading in this same direction, Eline grasps Trem by the upper arm, and standing up on her tiptoes, leans up and plants a sweet kiss upon his cheek. Turning red with a blush, she smiles genuinely at him. Turning, she heads out, following the others.
Roxaria hears Kha concur with Vauthok and looks to Reginald, “I think Vauthok and Kha are onto something. If Hulil is sick, we ought to find her and recover those relics before someone else does if she does fall to the fatal sickness.”
She looks to Kha, “I suppose we can look for horses, if they don’t cost much. Otherwise, maybe we just get on the road to the Cave?”
The temple of Moradin is a simple structure of stone. Each stones seem to knit together as if they were 1 whole piece. Within Reginald sees a few pews and a Dwarven Priestess reading from a holy text. Behind her stands the sculptor of Moradin. A few of the faithful are quietly praying.
The others look for horses but find they are too costly for their current funds.
Merchant Wrenith, it's me! Your returning customer Trem Woodsong! I was wondering if you had a 2 person tent? One that keep the snow out and body heat in?

12 Persuasion
(Let me know if that works, DM.)
Lathis looks to Eline "No there are no alchemical properties to the daggers. It is a fine +1 dagger though."
(The persuasion check passed)

"Yes that was I who silvered the maul. Why? do you need a weapon silvered?" remarks Lathis as he makes his way back the forge.

Thank you Reginald, you won't regret this!
As Trem gets kissed by Eline he seems to remember something.
I'll see you guys at the temple. I'll be right back!

Trem enters the Groaning Canvas.
Merchant Wrenith, it's me! Your returning customer Trem Woodsong! I was wondering if you had a 2 person tent? One that keep the snow out and body heat in?

Wrenith gives Trem a wide smile "Of course I do, right there in the corner. Now that will be 5 silver pieces"
Trem doesn't even haggle with Wrenith. He hands over the 5 silver and stuffs the tent in his backpack.
He then sprints to the Temple.
