Reginald speaks to the group with an assessment of the situation as they gather to leave, "The priestess who treated Urgon before he passed away also thinks there was something alchemical connected with his passing. It looks like the only thing that the 3 victims have had in common were the items listed on the sales receipt that Trem found. We ruled out the dagger as a possible source of the freezing "sickness" since it was not sent to Hulil who we believe is currently suffering from the ailment. Let us be on our way!"
Everyone leaves Palebank village in the mid afternoon. A flurry of snow begins falling from the sky and the looming clouds seems to promise a colder night. Out before the group stretches the Crystal Sands Tundra. Sand freezing over with northern ice and snow. Tall dunes glitter like piles of diamonds in the daylight, shifting with high winds.
(I will need the formation order of the group. Like is anyone ranging ahead as a scout, who is in front, middle, and back)
((OOC- Roxaria will take up scouting ahead of the party, noting Trem hanging in the back, assisting with the guarding. She will be about 50 feet ahead of the party.))
As the party travels for a few hours Kha notices a wolf moving parallel with the group ducking on occasion behind a frozen dune only to reappear again a moment later. From the corner of her eye Roxaria briefly glimpses a furred creature that seems to be trailing the group.
Up ahead there is a valley of sorts formed by larges dunes on either side. It is sunset where there is some light still out and long shadows created by the dunes.
(If everyone is alerted by Roxaria or Kha then please roll perception)
Roxaria whistles to the group to get their attention and catches up to Eline and Trem, “Something is out there. I don’t know what it is, though. It’s following us though. Keep alert. I’m going to let you all go on ahead to get some distance between us. Pass the word up.”
Roxaria stops and draws her bow, looking at the frozen dunes, trying to differentiate to what is a shadow created by the dunes and a shadow created by a creature. She slowly follows the group, keeping about 30 feet between her and the group.
(No need for an additional nature roll... a single, non-rabid wolf would not be following a large group such as this, no matter how hungry. If rabid it would have attacked already. Reginald would comment to be on the lookout for other wolves ranging farther out and a possible ambush ahead, else it's a pet, familiar or controlled by another entity keeping an eye on us, ALSO for a possible ambush up ahead.)
"I may be just paranoid, but possible ambush site among the dunes ahead, either more wolves or the wolf's owner, but I see nothing. Listen for a howl from it if it isn't in mental contact." Reginald says in a low voice.
"Be ready, friends!" Kha calls to the group. He pulls his hammer out and bangs it upon his shield. "There is one behind the dunes," he advises Vauthok.
"Wolves are smart. Be worry of the ones we can't see."

Hearing that (and I think succes in Perception?) Trem turns to Eline and says:
Don't worry, I'm still here!
And he uses Mask of the Wild (since it's snowing) to hide:
