As the flames seem to flow into the stone, Zerexius remembers a children's story about a secret cave, a hidden door and how elemental magic was used to open a vault for the heroes to find a magic sword....
Once across, he gives the spider some light scritches and mumbles something about needing to catch up with Ol’ Toots with a finger or two of brandy.
He narrows his eyes at the door, then snaps, his dark shell pulsing with orange glow again, and another bonfire snaps into existence right under the door.
(no worries my friend - the spider's rope and webbing gave you advantage - you're across safe and sound)
The magically generated flames leap up along the stone, seemingly racing themselves towards the carved flame gout coming from the Dragon. As they reach the edges, they begin swirling and flowing into the dragon's breath, the fire building and hungrily drinking in more and more from the magical bonfire.
The flames fill the carved fire, the heat building and growing and boiling off the stone, smoke tendrils rising from the edges, the whole scene slowly coming to life. All at once, the dragon itself seems to come to life, its eyes turning and locking onto the Tortle, the head cocking ever so slightly before it seems to ... pull itself back into the door.
As the Dragon disappears, the stone form flying off into the distance of the scene on the doorway, a series of three keyholes are left where the dragon once was.
SUMMARY AND ACTION
Ok team - tried to describe the illusion as best I could - short version, the magic fire triggered the door to reveal the locks. You've got three lock/keyholes in front of you.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rantel watches the dragon melt away. He nods his head in a mirror image of the dragon's nod before it does so. He shrugs when asked about the keys, but then kneels down and peers at the locks. He looks for traps, any obvious arcane effects, or tricks.
The tortle squints and looks, then gently prods at each of the locks. They appear safe and ordinary enough - or at least as ordinary as three locks hidden behind the illusion of a dragon could ever be. He notices small runes worked into the edges of each of the locks, and small intricate carvings in the stone that almost look decorative, but something tickles the back of the Tortles mind, almost as if each of these keyholes has been 'named'.
Bree steps forward with her lock picks and offers them helpfully to anyone who wants to try to pick one 'I've only got the one set and the two hands, but I reckon' I could get one of these open.'
Rantel give me an Arcana check and feel free to take adv from any of your comrades.
Rantel squints and leans in to get a better look at the carving. The wise Totrtle sees that these aren't decorative markings but rather instructions of some sort.
Three keyholes are arranged in a vertical line. Each of them is identical to the others except for the scribing around the outside of the holes. Read from top to bottom Rantel sees

Spider Celeste looks expectantly at the more intellectual folk. After a few untimely blinks of her many eyes, she lifts up three limbs. Chittering to herself, she starts 'eenie meenie miny moeing' her limbs for her 'educated' suggestion.

Hoghead is more brawn than brain. "I say we just smash through the frigging door. Riddles drive me crazy. There's probably some kind of magic trap that will zap whoever tries to open it. You all seem to care about living so why don't you let me try to open it.He looks at the locks and concentrates. If anyone is paying close attention, they will see wisps of a slight cloud start swirling around him. "Y'all should prolly get behind me." If there are no objections, Hoghead will use his thieves tools to try to unlock the bottom lock 12
Hogshead jams the thieves' tools into the bottom lock as the rest of the party steps back.
He hears the distinct sound of a lock turning into place and feels the door shift backward nearly a full inch, revealing beautifully carved stone roses climbing up and around the new doorframe. The dwarf has only a moment to admire the remarkable handiwork before gas begins pouring out from the stone roses, enveloping the beardless warrior in a green-tinted fog.

'Three of us there are, but two of us are false, choose wisely and unlock your fate'
(Are there other decorative markings by each keyhole that he can ascertain, apart from the general instructions?)
He reads out the general instructions to the group.
"So one of the three how to choose"

Pick a hole, any hole: 11 (int +0, arcana +2)
just an unstable unicorn.
Clarification:
Keyhole 1 -Three of us there are,
Keyhole 2 - but two of us are false,
Keyhole 3 - choose wisely and unlock your fate.
No other markings can be seen.
I'll pause here for the day in case anyone wants to revise or add an action then will randomly choose a Keyhole for ixi and we'll see what happens :)
