"Whoo boy, that was weird." Sheerow physically reels back and flips over herself in the air a few times, before stabilizing herself. "Well Akayan, I think that was the cloning thing. We're the clones and our original selves went off to Las Aminour. I hope our original versions aren't connected in the way you're implying they are, Aaron. That would be bad." She stares harshly in the distance, as if contemplating something deeply. She almost immediately snaps out of it. "Anyways... Reika, to answer your question, I think we shouldn't dillydally and just go over to the tavern place, whatever-it's-called, to get Aaron's thing. And maybe on the way we should refresh a few details? My brain's just a little scrambled from the whole cloning thing." While her voice is animated, her face is blank. However, she seems delightfully distracted---and a little out of touch with reality at the moment---and she flies up to Fane once again and starts petting it's mane.

"As much as I would like to save your pet, I can't help but ask what we get out of this."
Malikily stands as he says this
“You all came here to do good in New Mibeji. What better to do good than help an elderly man find his cat?” Aaron asks.

"Oh come on, Malikily, stop being so cynical." Sheerow says playfully, waving a hand in his direction. "Let's just go already! We've been standing around this tavern, just talking for a really long time and frankly, I'm getting a little antsy. Which way is the Blushing Wyrm?" Eager to move along, she goes up to the door out and opens it.

Akyan shakes his head, "This is not how I thought that would go. Oh what am I saying, I had no idea what to expect." He looks over to Sheerow, "Yes lets get going." He follows her out the tavern door. Once he is outside, Fane nickers and trots over to him.
Aaron points down the street. “It’s down Logged Lane. They seem to find it a holy place of some sort.”

"Alright, lets go!" Sheerow, with a small running start, jumps up and flies in the direction Aaron pointed to, but not before petting Fane again first.

Malikily hesitates as he walks out the door, and then grabs Aaron's shoulder, "I didn't come here to do good, I came here for a drink, why should I risk my life to get your cat?"
Before swinging himself into the saddle, Akyan looks back at Malikily, "Sheerow and I were sent here by the Leaders to complete this mission. I think there is more to this than simply rescuing a cat. So, come with us or stay. I really don't care." With that he taps Fane with his heals and trots after Sheerow.
Aaron turns to Malakily. “I don’t expect you to risk your life for my tressym. The second your life is in danger, I would expect you to run. However, if you don’t help, if you walk away right now, what history are they going to write about you?”

Rieka follows the others out, finding herself once again rolling her eyes at Malikily.
"Either stay or don't. I personally think we would be better off without you," she says to him. "But if you do stay, I'm sure the leaders will compensate you fairly for dealing with whatever evil darkens this city."
She then turns to walk alongside Fane, though not too close to the horse, who she gives a wide berth. As she walks, she's going to take the time to really consider her surroundings, especially the Logged Lane (and see if anything is out of the ordinary).

Logged Lane holds a lot of dark and shady shops. At the end of the lane is the Blushing Wyrm. Outside is a male Tabaxi bouncer, wearing splint armour. A katana hangs on his back. A conical hat hangs low over his face, with only his ears poking out of his hat.

Rieka groans at the sight of the bouncer.
Great, one of those foul Cat-folk. Why did it have to be one of them? Can't I catch a break?
"What are we going to do about him?" she eventually says out loud, pointing out the bouncer to the others. "I doubt that he'll just let us in, and I don't want to start any fights in this place."
She glances around suspiciously at those words, recognising the shadiness of the area.

(OOC: Is it daytime?)
Malikily, who contemplated Aaron's words and decide to come, puts a hand on his shorts word and whispers, "The bouncer won't be a problem, would you like me to end him?"
(Autocorrect separated shortsword into two words lol)
"Guys, guys, I'm sure we can get inside peacefully, no need to lop anyone's head off." She lands between Reika and Fane and Akayan, and taps her foot in contemplation, looking at the floor. "Maybe if we just ask? I mean, I doubt the bouncer will actually initiate a fight unprompted. If we just go up and tell him that we're looking for a place to rest and drink, worst-case-scenario he'll tell us 'Sorry, you guys can't go in,' and we'll say, 'Ok, cool,' and walk away without a scratch. That is, if we don't try to force ourselves inside." She glances at Malikily out of the corner of her eye, then continues staring at the ground. "If he doesn't let us inside, maybe we try to sneak in? I can fit through most vents, so I can probably sneak in easy, and let you in through a back door or something like that. I'd rather not cause a fight, inside the tavern or outside."

"You're too much of a pacifist." Malikily grumbles.
