Malikaly doesn’t see the Tressym.
“I recognize several of them, but none of them actually work for the Rightful Queen. They merely visit the bar so that they can find more illicit deals.” Aaron replies telepathically.

Malikily looks up and sees Rieka at his table, he sighs and says, "Where do you think they are keeping the tressym?"
“I’m sure the proprietor has her locked up in his office.” Aaron says, looking up at another green tinted window that appeared to be the inside of an office. “If I know him, he’ll be living up there.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Malikily downs his ale and stands up.
Rieka shrugs, getting up and glancing at this office.
At the same time, she will be looking around the tavern for any bounty hunters or mercenaries in general. Particularly those that might hunt magical creatures, like tressyms.

The office is guarded by two Human samurai, who have demeanors less kinder than the Tabaxi outside the door. There are several bounty hunters and mercenaries, but only the kind that are honorable.

Have caught his breath Thalanil enters last. “I thank you Xo, it is very kind of you.” He pats the Tortle in his shell. “Oh yes, I do get lost in my own thoughts from time to time. No need for apologies Rieka.” However, as the High Elf enters the establishment proper. He freezes. He is not sure if he should be in this place full of unsavoury people. He tries to stay behind Xo and close to Rieka.

"Science is organized knowledge. Wisdom is organized life."
Malikily laughs seeing Thalanil trying to stay close to Rieka, "Thalanil, if you can't handle being in a room full of low lifes, I can't imagine what use you will be on this quest." And eying Rieka he says, "And she won't protect you in a fight."
Akyan nods to Aaron and breaks the mind link. Oddly he appears more comfortable here that he did in the previous tavern.
Sheerow---having walked in with the rest of the party earlier---stays silent and sits very close to Akayan, nervously looking around the tavern. She doesn't order anything, she doesn't even speak. Discreetly, she casts Alter Self, trying to alter her voice and appearance slightly, just enough to look and sound different and unrecognizable, but not different enough to be an immediately noticeable change. Her features, once slender and doll-like, grow more stout and square-like, and her eyes are no longer the ruby-red they once were. They've turned a deep mud-brown. Her hair is completely blanched, the blue that was brushed on the tips of her hair are now gone. She takes a deep breath in, and back out again, then whispers to Akayan, "How do you suppose we get in there?" She nods her head slightly in the direction of the office. "I'd rather avoid a fight; an altercation here wouldn't be anything near a normal bar fight."

Akyan takes a swig of ale as he leans against the bar seemingly observing the crowd, when in reality, he is studying the office. He creates a mind link with Sheerow, "I'm not sure yet. It would be nice to know if there are any back routes into the office. Other than that we can just observe the guards. If we learn the rotation, we can get an idea of when the best time to sneak by them would be." He glances at the rest of the group, "Out of this lot, who do you think is the most reliable? I can make a link with another person, then we can spread out and gather information. I'm thinking we should spit into three groups and gather some information."
"I agree. I'm gravitating towards Reika at the moment. She's attentive, and seems very intelligent; level-headed." She glances over at Reika, then down at her hands. She starts fidgeting with the brooch pinned to the breast of her tunic. "I could try to sneak towards the back, for.. obvious reasons. I can see if maybe there's a vent I can crawl through, scope out the general layout and see if the tressym is in the office in the first place. I know Aaron said he was positive it was in there, but it might not be."

"I agree, Reika seems the best choice. I'll let her know what we are thinking. If you can get in there to double check that would be good. I would hate to break in there for no reason." He turns to look at her, "But if there is any trouble, you let me know."
"I will, don't worry." She looks back up at him for a second, looking directly in his eyes, flashing a small smile at him, then quickly looking away again. "What's the range of the mind-link? So I can try to keep in contact with you while I'm looking around, maybe relay information. It would be great to know what you guys are able to find as well."

His eyes soften for a brief moment when she smiles at him, "As long as you stay within a mile of me, I'll be able to communicate with you."
Reika, you suddenly feel someone else's thoughts enter your mind. "This is Akyan. Sheerow and I think it would be a good idea to split up and look for information. She is going to try to make sure the creature really is inside that office, while the rest of us ask around for other information about this group. You can communicate with me this way, to reduce suspicion."
Malikily stand up and walks over to the barkeep, hands him his empty mug and leans over the counter, he takes a gold coin from his pocket and rolls it on the counter, "You know, those two samurai look out of place in such a fine establishment as the blushing wyrm, why are they here, and what's behind them?"
Rieka reacts to Malikily's comment with a look of pure venom, opening her mouth to say something only to be caught off guard by Akyan's mental link.
Um..ok. Yes, that's a good idea. She replies evenly. Especially since I am not very good at stealth, it would definitely be best if I helped look for information with you.
She pauses for a moment, then meets Akyan's eyes. How much of my mind can you see?

Akyan opens his mouth with a barely hiding an embarrassed expression, "I can only hear thoughts you direct towards me." He resumes his previous demeanor, "So as long as you don't direct any thoughts towards me that you don't want me to hear, I won't hear them." He looks back over the tavern, "My thought was to have us split into three teams, "I chose to make my connection with you because... Well, Malikily only cares about himself, Thalanil seems a bit out of his comfort zone, and Zoe, well he's a bit on the slow side. So I think one of us should go with Malikily, since he's going to be a handful, and the other should take the other two. That way we can keep an eye on them as we are collecting information.
While Malikily awaits the barkeeps response, he looks at the samurai guarding the office, trying to devise a plan to sneak in.
