The Tabaxi bouncer comes in and throws down a smoke grenade. -2 on all checks.

Xo is unsure what to do at this point. On one hand, the group is nowhere closer to finding the winged cat, and on the other, he can hardly see anything. All he knows is that someone does not appreciate them being here. He begins pacing after the humanoid cat, although the tables and the fog make that difficult. He attempts acrobatics but probably fails. 17

Rieka coughs, her eyes stinging. 

"What the hell?" She chokes out. That's a very extreme way of dealing with tavern brawlers. But who cares, she's faced worse. 

"Xo! Xo follow my voice and come to me!" she yells, dropping the act. A solid throw of the tortle might just break through the wall. "Xo, over here!"

Managing his way through the big mess, he thinks he hears Rieka call for him. "Marco- oh, there you are," he says looking up from the floor. There was no way he would ever catch up to the bouncer anyway. "Would you happen to know something about this? Or anything at all, really?" He seems irritated.

"Nope," Rieka replies, and squints at him. "Say, on a scale of one to ten, how open are you to the idea of me throwing you at that wall?"

Akyan coughs when the smoke fills the air. Growling he yells, "Is that all you've got!" He is oblivious to the fact that Rieka is about to throw Zo at him.

(OOC: so sorry I haven't posted much, I've been busy irl)

Malikily will pull put his shortsword and run to the wall, once there he will jam the blade inside the wall to try to get his sword inside the planks and pry them out. Athletics: -2

Xo's expression is a combination of surprised and glad. "It would be my pleasure," he says cooly. He then enters Shell Defence for convenience.

(Xo is 350 pounds, in case that matters.)

Sheerow quickly jumps away from the corpse, shuddering a little. Akayan, he just died. She checks the bottle he was drinking from. Maybe his drink was poisoned, maybe he was allergic to nuts. I'm getting out of here. I don't feel so good.

She flies up to the vent, coughing as she crawls into the smoke-filled room. You didn't light a fire in the few minutes I was gone, did you? What's with all the smoke?

When Xo collides with the wall, it shatters, revealing a warehouse area with several boxes. Malikaly’s attempts to pry the boards fail, due to an unknown force. Sheerow feels a different air when she gets close to the vent in the manager’s office.

(ooc: what kind of different air? Like, does it not have smoke in it? Is it fresh air, a/c air, poisoned air?)

"That's odd," Akyan replies, "And no, that blasted tabaxi came in here with a smoke bomb." He steps sideways just in time to avoid Zo, waving a hand in front of his face he squints into the warehouse.

Perception: 5

Rieka pants after throwing Xo at the wall, giving him a smile of gratitude after it breaks. 

She readies her weapon and shield, and walks into the room.

Xo exits Shell Defence, and takes a look at the new entrance to the room they had just created. He had expected that wall to need to have taken a few more hits before it broke, but he will not complain. He does not recieve Rieka's smile due to the cloudy room and slightly dizzy feeling, but he is happy to be of use either way. He snaps out of thinking mode and follows Rieka into the room with just his sheild ready.

Malikily will run into the room with both swords drawn, eager to fight something.

 You see several labeled boxes, including one labeled "Chugustian Root Beer".

The room is empty, however, the Art of Shadows will soon figure it out.

Rieka looks annoyed. 

"Where the hell did that scream come from?"
