Weary, Sheerow will put the front edge of her tunic over her nose and crawl in the direction of the air. 

There seems to be some new airflow in the vents. I don't trust what's on the other side, but I'm going to investigate. That sounded like a pretty big crash though, everything okay?

Mmmhmmm, Rieka thinks back to Sheerow, staring at the blood on the ground. Yep, everything is fine. 

Sheathing her weapon but keeping her shield on hand, Rieka carefully kneels down to inspect the pool, trying to figure out how long ago it was spilt and possibly from whom. 

Survival (I figured that inspecting the blood is close to tracking): 9

"Just keep us posted." Akyan answers Sheerow as he looks around the room. He walks over to Rieka as she inspects the blood, "Let's just hope they didn't kill the poor creature." Akyan begins to investigate the room. He's looking for any signs of crates being moved, or pieces of animal fur.

 Akyan hears something pawing on a crate.

I will. With that, Sheerow crawls in the direction of the different air.

Akyan quietly makes his way over to the crate, once to it, he will slowly start lifting the lid off of it.

Rieka looks up, even more alert and tense than before. 

"Are you sure that that's a good idea, Akyan? We have no idea what could be in there," she says tersely, making her way to his side. "That blood was spilt at the same time we heard the scream. Who says whatever is in there isn't the cause?"

"I'll be careful," Akyan says, "I've handled animals before." He examines the tressym to see if it has any wounds. As he does so, he lowers his hand into the box, knuckles facing the cat in a nonthreatening way. "And you could be right, but it also could have been them hurting the animal."

Sheerow, as quietly as possible and still invisible, lifts the grate up and drops to the ground through the hole. She then takes a good loon at her surroundings, taking note of any indication of what might be in the barrels.

 The crate topples over to reveal Chugustian root beer, a new brew that has recently been pushed abroad from Las Aminour.

Akyan attempts to pick up the cat.

Oh, you found the tressym!! Wonderful. I haven't been as successful. All I can see around me are barrels. And this one spirit, that's been whispering to me... it's kind of weird. But nothing's been normal since I set foot in this tavern. She takes one more good look at her surroundings, making sure she didn't miss anything. That's about it. 

Xo spots nothing, other than the mess he clumsily made. He does not drink beer, but this one interests him, for some reason. "My bad..." Xo says awkwardly. He crouches down and rather hastily puts the root beer back in the crate. "Say, this new root beer, is it any good?" He can not tell if he is going anywhere with this.
