As soon as the man busted in and declared his purpose, Rieka had drawn her flail, only to stop short of using it as the others try to reason with the man. She regards him with obvious dislike, tense and even a little fearful.
"Why do you get to decide who is good or bad?" She snaps, her anger and dislike getting the better of her. "What do you know of lycanthropes aside from slaughtering them? I'll bet you have no idea that they can't control themselves during the full moon. And Xo, a werewolf? Don't make me laugh, he said himself he is a noble! He's probably been kept safe all his life. And even if he was a werewolf, which he isn't, he's more importantly a good person. Is there really no scrap of empathy left within you?"
She takes a moment to catch her breath, her chest heaving with emotion. Slowly, she reaches up to touch one of the holy symbols engraved on her pauldrons.
"You monster hunters are all the same," she begins again, this time calmer, and colder. Underneath her hand, her armour glows white. "And we don't have time to deal with you. Leave."

"What? I'm not Lightmoon. My name is Shui Ankhalab. And Xo tore my arm off during the Blue Moon Festival. And I will exact my revenge if it kills me."
Shui moves his shoulder to show protective runes, and you see it is actually a light copper prosthesis.

Xo wonders: _How does Shui seriously think he stands a chance against us 4? I mean, he is nearly disabled..._ Xo does not worry about the man, and he just rests his hand on his mace, ready for when the fight begins.
(Yeah, I think it is. Trying to find what works and what doesn’t in this campaign is hard… rolls and spells that influence NPCs don’t seem to matter and neither does straight up bluffing loll)
“Wait, what’s the Blue Moon Festival?” Sheerow’s eyes flit between Reika, Shui, Xo and Akayan, a mixed look of genuine confusion, exhaustion, and alarm plastered on her face. “I am genuinely confused, you have the wrong people. I’ve never seen Xo bite someone’s arm off, much less become affected by lycanthropy.” She pauses. “Believe me, I’ve been in a similar situation.” Where it was done out of necessity and survival, not revenge, but for the sake of the argument it’s the same thing. “A situation where I had to resolve to do whatever it took, even if it killed me. It’s not pretty, and you don’t want to throw your life away like that. It’s not necessary. I mean, you’re not talking about an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, you’re asking for a life for an arm. I can totally make you a cooler magical arm for you, just leave us alone and put that damn crossbow down.”

“The Blue Moon Festival. You were the one that healed me. I had been selling Blue Moon baubles, when a lycanthrope with a shell attacked me. His shell. When I next awoke, the doctor told me that the fairy and the dark elf saved my life. I can’t kill you, I am indebted to you, but I will kill anyone else that gets in my way.” He lowers the crossbow. “So, Xo, ready to meet your maker?”

"Not yet," responds Xo, with a face sorta like [ツ]. "I have still got 30 years to live, thank you." He waits for an attack to occur.
(Should we roll initiative?)
(No, this man doesn’t want to kill you. He just wants to see your reaction to his threats. However, he is still angry at you. You did attack him, if you don’t remember. You “bit some random dude because you felt like it”.)

(I'm aware, but I don't know if my character is. Does this Xo know exactly what his clone knows and vise versa?)
(sometimes I question our player agency in this campaign...oh well.)
"You know, the thing about werewolves," Rieka growls at Shui. "Is that they have heightened senses, heightened strength and have a natural ferocity. They're smart, quick and their power is unrivalled. Are you really prepared to fight one?"
She glances back towards the tortle. "....If you believe that Xo is one, that is. But I don't think you're actually going to fight. You're outnumbered, outclassed. You're probably just spewing empty threats for a reaction. Well guess what? None of us appreciate your nonsense, and we are done, and I mean done, with dealing with people who think they are better than us. I took an oath of redemption, so I'm giving you one last chance to leave before I kill you."

Akyan walks up beside Zo and summons his blades. "As Rieka said. You don't stand a chance, so back off."
(I think it's ambiguous. From what I remember, the DM said that we'd get flashbacks, little bits of information every so often. While I'd like for the 'when and what' of the flashbacks we get to be more specific, like rolling a die every so often to see what happens, I've been playing it as if Sheerow gets visions of very vague scenarios and of specific objects/people that her clone came in contact with. I'm not sure how everyone else plays it though. But I'd assume that the two clones don't know everything about the other's current situation, given the vagueness of what Aaron has told us. That's how I interpreted it anyways, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about this, DM.)
With Reika's words, Sheerow can't help but stare wide-eyed at her. Wow, she's serious. Note to self: never get on Reika's bad side. The fairy moves to stand in front of Xo, still clutching her blowgun. Though it's clear from her body language that she's reluctant to fight.

(Thanks for the explanation.)
Xo still waits for something to happen because he is not entirely sure how to get this stranger out of the way. He finds it strange that the people he met only a little over a day ago are already going out of their way to protect him, but he is not complaining. After Akyan, Xo commands, "yeah, you best move it, pal," as he steps to a spot where he is able to see Shui.
“Don’t you realize what you’ve done? Because I was possibly infected, I couldn’t join the city guard. So I couldn’t be the thing I had grown up hoping to be. So I became the next best thing: a monster hunter. A monster hunter that hated you for hurting me.”

Rieka sighs. She seems, for a moment, to realise that her anger and threats are getting her nowhere.
"We all know what it's like to have dreams taken from us. Believe me, I too have watched my future slip away from me due to forces out of my control. I get it," she says, putting her flail away and holding up one of her hands peacefully. "Murder isn't the way to go, though. Xo means you no harm. I...I mean you no harm. Just walk away, and nobody has to get hurt."

"I don't know who you're talking about!" Rieka exclaims, gesturing with her hand impatiently. "Can't you leave us alone? Don't you know that monster hunters aren't welcome here, last time they came to this town they did far more bad than good. They hurt a lot of innocent people in their single mindedness, in their..their bloodlust. So yeah, you definitely shouldn't be here. Just go, and forgive Xo for whatever it is you think he did."

"I remember it, now. My clone had a stroke and tore your arm off. He had the intent to spread his curse to the entire festival..." Xo breathes deep and talks somehow even slower than usual. "I cannot recall how he had received the curse. He just, kind of, gained it as he was throwing darts." He shakes his head and looks up at Shui as he says, "Anyhow, I myself am not a werewolf." Xo does not know this for sure. "Not your enemy, at least."
