"Emelina´s right. We don´t know what´s out here so I would rather not give away our location. Especialy since we´re so close to the bunker." Says Gwin as she pockets the two small stones and starts following Ainsley through the grass.
valkas nods, following ainsley with thomas just behind. while walking, valkas casts primeval awareness using a first level spell slot, to sense if there's anything nearby
All of you, roll stealth, if you'd like to try and tread silently like Ainsley.
You follow the trail of footsteps away from the bunker. They go on for quite a while, going in no particular direction that you can see, other than through the forest. You continue following the footsteps until you reach the end of the trail, when the forest opens up to where the park and city sidewalks meet. As far as the footsteps are concerned, the trail has gone cold.
Valkas, taking a deep breath you focus your senses into the space around you. Your body feels as if it's dissipating into the air, spreading into every nook and cranny of the mile you can reach. After a minute, all you're able to feel are the small, erratic footsteps of something. While your senses can't detect what it is, you've hunted enough to know that they are the footsteps of small animals.

In varying degrees of stealth, you all walk along the footstep trail. Valkas, the footsteps along the trail are definitely bigger than the likes of a rabbit or vole. You could roll Investigation, if you want to try to identify them.

You look closely at the footsteps. It dawns on you that just like they're not small enough to belong to any small rodent, they don't belong to any animal at all. They look like the footprint of an adult human.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Another survivor. I wonder where they went. Perhaps a birds eye view will help" whispers Emelina. She then lifts up her arm and bids Melly to fly. The owl flies high into the sky circling the area. Emelina closes her eye as she now senses what the owl sense through the telepathic bond.
Advantage on Percetion due to keen sight and hearing
Taking a deep breath, Emelina, you direct your senses into Melly. You circle high over the area. You can see the forest, and its concrete lining. The buildings that were once sky-high---a canyon of metal and concrete and glass---have crumbled and only a story or two have been left standing. As for what's left of the trail, outside of footsteps in the park your group was already following, you see nothing. Nothing, except the metallic glint of something. You almost missed it, among all of the broken glass reflecting the sunlight on the street. But it's there. You can't quite tell what it is at this height.
