“The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.” ― Gary Gygax
((Correct, they are not hostile and seem to want resolve this misunderstanding))
(But letting them resolve the misunderstanding is probably not a very good idea! To a 'dragonman' I'd prefer to maybe pay visit later, to him alone, with surprise if possible. Not having him storm here and fight us with the help of the kobolds)
Zale points towards the kobold that ran up the stairs and hisses at the flying kobold. "He told me not to let anyone bother him! Stop that one! Unless you all want to loose your heads!"
Eric walks toward the stairs shaking his head "Don't waist your time Zale" then he raises the tone of his voice once he get close enough to the stairs and the kobold "these little filthy creature are too stupid to listen!"
If Eric is able to reach the kobold with his normal movement he will use his action to blow him whit his hammer. To hit: 15 and 10 damage if hits
In case it won't be possible to reach him melee he will open the palm of his hand toward him to cast Sacred Flame: Dex Save CD 13 to avoid 2 damages
As Bonus Action he casts Shield of Faith on himself
If her companions start attacking the kobolds, Khessa tries to gain cover (if she can) and fires a Fire Bolt at the kobold who wanted to warn the dragonman.

You know what? I'd say you can! The Kobold that's talking to Zale gets an AoO though: 9 + 4 = 13 (I guess that's a miss). You squash the poor little guy's head with a single blow before he reaches the stairs.

Do Kriv and Eric do anything before the Kobolds take their actions?
Player: Any Good Alignment // DM: Lawful Evil
Kriv watches the kobolds and readies a Handaxe in case they attack.
Eric has his shield and his hammer ready to use, but he plays with his hammer with nonchalance, whistling and keeping an eye on the kobolds
The first Kobold walks over to Zale: Did Dragonborn bring food for them?
The second goes to stairs and takes the keys. And another goes to fetch a pole with a lasso at the end.
The last one runs away to the SW stairs: Ulm will go check with Dragonman!

Forgot the winged Kobold: it turns to Zale and says sorry! It flies back to behind the first Kobold.
Back to Nixi: rolled a 5 in the game log, so she still doesn't move or take any actions.
Back to Zale

occ: they are not hostile yet, aren't they?

(Eric votes for fighting)
Also... A gait with iron bars and pole-lasso doesn't sound good. Don't think there were just eggs down there
Zale points towards the kobold that ran up the stairs and hisses at the flying kobold. "He told me not to let anyone bother him! Stop that one! Unless you all want to loose your heads!"
Persuasion: 13
Deception: 6 (Critical fail)
Intimidation: 18
(some eggs must have hatched - told you, those kobolds must be the baby-dragon-sitters...)
The kobold that wants to 'resolve the misunderstanding'... Must pass near Khessa and Eric?
DM: Would I be able to spend the movement action to block the way of the kobold to the stairs?
(I kinda guessed there were hatch-lings when we saw the pole-lassos. That's why Zale said we need to move them.)
Zale also glares at the one that asked if she brought them food. "You'll be the food if your friend disturbs Cyanwrath!"
Eric walks toward the stairs shaking his head "Don't waist your time Zale" then he raises the tone of his voice once he get close enough to the stairs and the kobold "these little filthy creature are too stupid to listen!"

Fire Bolt: 18 Damage: 6
