Well... the conditions would seem pretty in our favor to me, considering that we know they're coming - and they don't... and that they're in light, so we can see them from afar - and we're not... But if a roll is required anyway, here it is (also at Disadvantage, like Eric, because of heavy armor):
8
Yes... that's why the DC is ridiculously low.
As a group you passed the check. So you've got your surprise round.
The Lizardfolk are walking (single file) past Calvin in lizard form. Time to strike!
ROUND 1
Zale (13)
Calvin, Khessa (11)
Eric (8)
Kriv (2)
[I'm at a boardgame con this weekend (working for White Goblin Games) so I don't think I'll post much. You can play out the first round (by now you know the Lizardfolk's AC is 15]
Khessa quickly reacts to the barrage of attacks with an esotheric whisper and a deft gesture... and an invisibile (and unbreakable) barrier deflects all the blows.
Her promptly invoked defensive magic also activates her arcane additional protection (OOC: I mean Arcane Ward, from Abjuration School), that she feels now shelter her body like a second, enchanted skin.
(OOC: This was just a reaction, Khessa will take her turn when she is up)
Zale chooses the next closest target and strikes. This time she strikes with bother her rapier and her claw...she needs to get more used to doing that after all.
During his turn, Eric bashes with his hammer the (B) Lizardfolk if he still stands or the closest one otherwise. As bonus action he casts healing word on Kriv.
(Lol I guess I won't bother with Perception. We all know Zale's blind anyways XD. Plus I'm a bit late.)
"Good plan." Zale nods to Khessa then backs close to the wall, fading into the shadows....
Stealth: 22
