Vee, realizing the boss was in combat with Sorrow, steps away from that confrontation as he senses the battle lust has control of his friend and focuses on any gob making threatening movement or even running away.
J'nah is finally rewarded as the goblin looks out to see where he may be. J'nah fires his bow striking the goblin killing it with a well placed shot. Festoon having made it up to the platform sees the stunned goblin and attacks it killing it. Sorrow attacks the big guy striking him hard He grunts in pain but still stands. He follows Sorrows attack with one of his own hitting her for 8 damage. Veeshal looks around the platform but does not spot any goblins Tail feathers seeing he goblin still moving attacks it killing it with her scimitar. A goblin over by Mill Waters drops its bow and attacks Mill water with its short sword striking him for 5 damage. Mill water returns the favor and kills the goblin. This is the end of this round.
“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Barely deflecting a stab into vitals, Millwater is able to expose the goblin's neck. Taking a slash across his arm he uses his other to rip the soft flesh of the neck. Blood explodes out of the goblin's neck like a geyser.
Millwater turns toward the bridge and let's out a "RAWLlll Wa WA Wa" as he sprints with feline agility across. The branches and leaves blocks his sight but he can hear his companions fighting on the other side. (No wonder we didn't spot them until too late) he thinks while brushing the leaves off his face. He races to the platform on the other side.
He slips out a shuriken dart from the inside pocket in his apron. Millwater see Veeshal and Sorrow when he crests over the bridge to the platform. He notices Veeshal scanning the arboraceous environment and decides to put the shuriken dart away. Closing the distance, a smile creeps on his face remembering the kancho game as a child as he maneuvers to get behind the big guy.

With barely controlled rage Sorrow steps into her swing, twisting the blade to hit with the flat in the chest of the armored opponent in an attempt to drive him backwards.
J'nah, not having a climbing speed will continue to concentrate on Hunter's Mark, but use the dash action to get as quickly up the tree as you can. While climbing trying to assess where friends and for are, listening for where the voices are coming from and trying to get a lay of what platforms are where.
As the last round starts we see J'nah making his way up yo assist his friends on the platforms. Festoon is able to slide ove next to Sorrow and slide his rapier in through the chain mail killing the big brute right before Sorrow's Axe hits him square in the chest with the flat of the blade sending him backwards falling hard onto the platform. Everyone looks about but you can not see or hear any other combatants. This encounter is over. You will find yourself all on a platform Most of you are on the first platform at the top of the ladders. Tail feathers is on another not far away in total you find 7 different platforms that are interconnected by rope bridges with wooden supports over sturdy branches. As you investigate these platforms and how they were build it is clearly not the work of Goblins. Tailfeathers is able to understand that those who built the platforms and the paths between them were able to coax the trees to brow their limbs in certain directions to enable the placements of the walkways. You find a large Platform that can not be seen from any others due to the unique camouflage of these platforms. If it was not for the walkway leading to it you would not have seen it. Inside this covered platform you find the bodies of wood elves. All those bodies are just men and elderly. You do not see any bodies of women, unless they were elderly, or children. These were the true engineers of these well hidden platforms. It is on one small platform you find a place that holds clean fresh water. You can see the goblins did their best to tuirn in into something not so clean but the forces of nature that kept this pool clean and clear was too much for them.
When you search the goblins you will find each one to be wearing smelly to the point of rotten leather armor along with poorly cared for short bows and arrows. Each one has a mixture of copper and silver coins when you count them all from the eight bodies you come up with 32 silver and 54 copper. The big guy well he is different. His armor is well cared for as is his long sword, and shield. His armor is chain mail. on him you find a pouch containing 18 gold, 16 silver and 4 copper.

Millwater watches as the big guy goes down. He slows to a stop as he realizes combat is over. As he catches up on his breathing, he notices a bridge going higher into the trees. Walking across the bridge to the hidden platform he sees the pool of water. He can smell it. Fresh, clean, pure water! So bizzare, high up in a tree.
Side stepping turds and snot rockets that litter threshold, he ventures close to the pool. The basin is neither carved or natural, like the platform and bridges. As if nature was asked to comply. (A spring of water pumped to the top of an ancient tree?) Millwater dips his paw into it playfully. He washes his hands of the goblin's blood in the outflow. Then smells his hands deeply for any signs of dirty water.

Upon finding the bodies and hearing Vees report on them, Sorrow lets out a mournful cry (like a wookie cry). ‘I’m glad now we finished those vermin rather than capture. These deaths were foully done.’ She rubs a hand over her hood and nods as Vee continues to talk. Once he finishes she will take a drink from the pool, then descend to each level where gob bodies are and toss them to the ground below. Once down at ground level herself, she begins to unpack her bkpk and finally settles on the tent and tarp. She watches as Vee descends to the ground and motions for a group huddle.
Vee descends to the ground in Sorrows wake and motions for everyone to gather close. He tells them that the platforms were built and maintained by woods elves, and that the bodies of the men and elders were found on the best concealed platform. ‘They were kindred, but not blood. I feel called to perform their burials here, but we lack a seedling or sapling to plant over them-unless one of you can sing to the trees to provide them.’ He’ll look at each of you, waiting for some reply.
Festoon, after all the looting and discoveries are done, says "Good place to camp, once we dump the dead, hey? These gobbos sure don't care about their stuff, do they? Fesh water from a tree is neat, too! these platforms are a village and we could stay here overnight. Put something heavy on the trap door and we're set. Too bad about the elves - wonder where the women and children went. Oh, well, I could do with a little rest. " And with that he finds a comfortable, dry place in the main treehouse to put his things and starts to prepare to camp.

Tail Feathers makes a sad 'Mwerp' when the wood elves are found. Her ears drop when she finds no young ones or females, 'I hope they were able to escape and not be captured.'
Climbing down to where Vee and Sorrow are, 'I might be able to ask the trees if they would be willing to help.' Looking to the tree that has the elves, a grey and white paw extends to touch the base.
"That's not usually the case with the women, either they were never in the fight, or they were taken. I know that much about these creatures behavior. Does anyone know who the big guy was? Did he have any papers?" J'nah is happy to see the pool of water and wonders about it's origin, it's not an easy thing to be able to outdo Goblin Stench.
Satisfied the water is pure, Millwater says "The water is pure, the basin would be a good place to wash the dead in funerary rights." in the group huddle. "I'll wash the bones and see what I can learn from them." He says solemnly.
He heads back up to prepare an area. Millwater wipes down and cleans an spot next to the basin. After rinsing the area with water from the font, he prepares incense at 4 corners. With the 1st body layed out he removes any remnants of garments and examines for injuries and disease before washing the bones and bundling them up.
Too his horror he discovers they were stabbed in the back while tied up!
You all head back down to the ground to camp while Veeshal with Millwaters help cleanse the bodies and says the rites to ready to inter the bodies in the ground in a mass grave. With Tail feathers help they find an area that will support and help a sapling to grow in the soil and be well fed by the bones of the wood elves. Tail Feathers was able to get a nice sapling form the tree. Once all is buried and the sapling has its mound of dirt to grow in above the wood elves bones you all see the sapling move as if trying to stretch up. As you all step back a pace the sapling triples in size and becomes a well established sapling. As the bodies are being gathered and interred Sorrow with the aid of Festoon and J'nah drag the bodies of the goblins and the bigger guy away from the trees that support the hidden small village in the trees. When they return after the last bodies were removed they see the others planting a small tree and see the wonderful site. Looking around you all see that the stains, scents and foul excrement's from the goblins are all erased. The area feels peaceful and you all get a good night of sleep.
Day breaks with a wind that is blowing through the trees causing a low to mid moaning type sound as the trees move about with the motion of the trees causing the sound. You all realize that the the wind does not enter the area you are in and once you go out into it you will have a hard time hearing. You all can feel that rain is in the air for today. While not raing yet you are all due to get a shower. What are your next actions?
Waking up early is a habit, here something is different. Moving with his surijen performing sweeping moves for precision instead of speed. He feels energized and invigorated, like meditation under a waterfall. He returns to a spot he found while exercising that looked like a spot for cooking fires.
Happy that it looks as old as the platforms and not the goblin's desecration. Millwater gets busy with boiling water for tea and sausages. Purring as he works, beating the journybread batter like it owes him money. He notices the wind pick up as the sky starts to lightened up. He serves up pig in blankets and tea as his companions gather around. "I have attended scores of funerary rights and burials and never witnessed anything like this.Birds I've seen birds and butterflies."
