Able to get some deep breaths between dodging, Millwater puts plans into motion now that he can think. He moves in a zig zag motion with a pause so his companions can strike easily. Then twirling away like a bullfighter so the next worg can rush in.
J'nah runs over and does a tumble on the ground grabbing up the bow and notches the arrow from a crouched position, "Dancing Cat, you did good, let's end this."
No Hunter's Mark, No more Zephyr's Strike, just some sharp shootin. If there's only one left, I'd take aim at the one and not use the Hordebreaker, heck, now that there aren't 6 of them, they might not even be next to each other :P But if they're trying to snag a cat snack, then they might be.
I couldn't hit an ooze with that second shot, but I would have tried if there was another target and probably just shoot too fast trying to get wood in the air.
Mouser takes aim at the Worg he struck before causing enough damage to put the Worg out of action. Millwater keeps up with his defensive stand. Veeshal adds more damage to the same Worg making sure it is dead. J'nah heads over to where he lest his bow. Grabbing it at a roll and shooting the last Worg he hits it for some damage. Sorrow also strikes this last Worg ending its life. Tailfeathers sends 8 points of healing to J'nah.
This is the end of the combat. All hostiles are down.
Scrounging through the underbrush, bodies and such, Mouser is able to find a goodly number of intact arrows, restocking his quiver to near full. During the search, he comes across the bugbears and says "Where'd THESE guys come from? Were they already dead here from the gobboes and doggoes? "

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Millwater recovers from a backflip into a forward roll, then does a spinning jump to realize the danger has passed. Doing another 360⁰ to be sure, he raises his arms in a V then pops the nub that was left of the hobb sausage into his mouth. He cuts 2 more links to hang off his belt and retrieves the arrow he caught.
Millwater untangles a swatch of webs and wraps it around his own wound. (Purrfect wound to experiment with!) He thinks, as he sees his companions gathering. He moves towards them, his limbs feel really heavy. The adrenaline has been burn up! He curls up to a worg in the epicenter of the trampled and beat down tuber patch with the dead worg's leg for a pillow. His eyes shut, and a soothing purring sound drones on.
J'nah thanks Tails and picks up the back up quiver off his pack, his mission, to make sure that was all there was, look for tracks of where they came from (presumably north), and gather any recoverable arrows.
"Wanna check nearby for their lair? Gotta be some good stuff they stole from others, even if they weren't using them." Festoon suggests, looking for where they came from.

Sorrow looks about for her javelins. See looks at Vee 'Better check on the others-I'll see what's salvageable here.' She proceeds to unceremoniously toss the bodies in two piles-one gobs, one worgs. then sets about dumping any pockets/saddlebags/pouches. She also skins out the worg heads, extracting the canine teeth and the four front teeth as well. She will pull the incisors from the gobs and their front teeth too.
She shakes her head slightly then mutters 'too bad there's no one to take the skins-waste of a good pelt'. She will also gather up any arrows and bolts she can find/cut free.
Vee nods, then slowly makes his way to the rest. 'How bad are we all hurt? And WHERE IN THE HAIRY BALL SACK DID THEY COME FROM!' He gets a tad excited at the sight of the two dead bugbears. 'Seriously-how bad are you guys hurt after taking on those two?' He looks around at the area. 'Anybody well enough to scout a bit?'
J'nah comes back from his walk about, "Dangit, all the arrows are a loss. Not a one of them recoverable. I guess we'll be using theirs's as back up until I can make some more." J'nah reached his pack and took a tug of water, "They came from the Southwest. We wouldn't have seen their tracks on our approach. Either way, I say lets take a rest then see how we are. I know I only have about one spell left in me and if we it further without having to use it, it'll make a difference at the next encounter."
You all gather about the trampled area where you find a napping Millwater. Searching the bodies well you are surprised to discover none of the Goblins are carrying any treasure. Pulling the teeth does slow but able to be done. You do however find a couple golds and a few silver on the Bugbears (2 gold and 4 silver) the Worgs had no treasure either. As far as arms and armor Sorrow was able to recover one useful javelin. Veeshal's Bolts were lost. The bugbears have better armor than normally found on their kind as did the Goblins. The bows and short swords the goblins carried are very serviceable weapons, sort of like those a new adventure may carry. Tailfeathers is able to heal herself of her injury as J'nah tells everyone of what he discovered about their movements. He deduced the Bugbears were telling the Worg riders where to go and what to do.
Millwater rolls out yawning and stretching when Sorrow stacks the worg he was sleeping on. He checks to see how the web bandage is holding up. (Not very effective on its own, maybe a gauze envelope with baking soda, cornstarch, and flour?) He thinks.
Millwater then goes to take a look at the bugbears with an eye toward making sausage. Vile looking creatures, hairy and gross., no need to even cut them open to check for parasites. About to walk away, then decides to check closer. The gear has been excellent for mere bandits. Checking teeth, armpits, and groin, have they been regimented like they joined an army? Are they clean?
Finishing her dentistry task, Sorrow Looks the party over. 'Alright. Maybe we-No, Mill. I think we'd all draw the line at that kind of sausage. Anyway. Looks like we can all use a break to clean up and tend to our wounds. J'nah, did you see any place defensible enough we can rest in peace, but able to watch the trail?" Hoping there was indeed a place to rest, she pockets the teeth and her knives and waves at J'nah to lead on.
When they set up the rest area, she will use one of her small knives to work on a tooth or two while occasionally scanning the area.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vee scowls once Sorrow conveys the loss of the bolts but knows it's part and parcel for the weapon he carries. Once they are situated for their rest. he sighs then turns his eyes inward to meditate for the time here.
You all move to a more defensible area a short ways away to take a short rest. You are still in the woods but now on top of a small hill overlooking the trail you were following as it meanders away to the North and east. The area where you had the short battle is behind you to the South and west. After the nice rest and a quick bite or two everyone is ready to head back to the trail. You follow the trail for the rest of the day as it stays close to the mountains to your east. The trail winds its way in the valley between the hills to your west and the mountains. As the night is fast approaching you look for a place to camp for the night. Spying what looks like a good hill top not far off the trail you head up to make a camp for the night.
Off the trail and on top of the hill you can see a slight glow through the trees a distance away from where you are now. Could this be a sign you are getting close to the cave you are seeking in the north? You can hear the sounds of animals on the prowl during the night. Wolves, Coyotes, and the occasion big cat are heard throughout the night but none seem to be getting close to your location. The night passes quickly with no issues. As the sky becomes cloudy and soon rain starts to fall. Looks like a cool wet day is upon you as you move out to start heading North once again.
I will need action of what you wish to do for the new day.
Once more dressed in his travel finery, Festoon guards the main body of the party, looking out for trouble as they proceed. "I still think they had a lair we should have found. They were too poor to be equipped so nicely."He says as he scans the various likely ambush spots.
